A national meet up would be great wouldn't it? I still wistfully think of the commune by the sea . I'm likely to be in London in October (staying with my sister in Herne Hill) if that is any use to the southern crew.

Had a bit of a fright last night as ds woke up about 11pm screaming his head off. Checked him over & couldn't find anything wrong but he was behaving like he was completely terrified and in pain . Phoned DH who was on call and luckily he was just leaving so was all set to take ds to A&E when he did the most ginormous fart, stopped screaming and was Mr Happy again. Most odd. Must have been trapped wind but was quite scary.

Runny, I am not sure that there is much else you can do with J waking at 3am. You are doing the right thing by putting him back to bed, but I doubt that you could actually stop him waking in the first place. Is he dreaming or having night terrors? Feel for you, lack of sleep is a nightmare in itself.

Not much planned for today, popping to town to buy some nice steak for tea. Making steak with garlic mash and this mushroom sauce thing for dinner later, yum! Well actually I will hold back the yum until I have actually eaten it. I am a bit rubbish at cooking steak properly!

Afternoon Have been for picnic lunch and swimming with DH, girlies and I. Swimming was quite stressful, P is a real handful and completely over confident (i.e. totally believes she can swim ) It was pretty tough for DH and I to look after the older 2 and keep P in check too. Think we'll ask someone if they can have P next time!! Goodness me, I am shattered!!

Dinner in the oven so just cathcing up on a few bits ......

A very quiet afternoon on mn, I can't believe it's 5 pm already. dp and I have just about wasted the whole day, he keeps going off in a huge huff about things that I don't believe I've said, that is I can't see what he's getting into such a huff about. He's blown a fuse at me for the third time today, and I was still feeling upset about the second time.

I would have liked us to take D out and do something nice with him, but to do something this morning I would have needed to have known last night, otherwise I'm so tired I don't make the effort to get dressed until much later. So I'm ticked off with myself for that, but I hate being shouted at all the time.
