CD, I am sure that whatever you wrote in the card would be the right words as you just seem to have a way with them iykwim.

Runny, glad the boys are both ok today. Hope the GP appointment went ok for xxx

Dooby, so sorry to hear about your grandad. Hope your visit to him goes ok

runnyhabbit · 09/09/2008 13:11

Doctor was lovely
We went through everything, home, work, family, money etc..and the best way I could describe how I felt was the same as when I had PND, but without the emotional side. Weird, I know. But I go for blood tests on Monday.

runnyhabbit · 09/09/2008 13:16

Can't believe I didn't realise it before.
Not only is it J forst day at school on Monday, but W has hospital appt about his liver.
Perhaps my subconcious is reacting physically to W appt.
Who knows

JellySnakes · 09/09/2008 13:30

Could be, it is bound to be stressful for you. J going to school is tough enough, but with your worries about W too it is no wonder you are feeling the strain. Glad GP was nice to you

CaptainDippy · 09/09/2008 14:24

Such a nice thing to say about "my way with words" , JS - Awwww!

Hello. Just popping in whilst at work. Am so so bored I could scream!

Dooby, so sorry about your grandad. Hope you are ok.

Dippy, what a tragedy to die so young. I hope the little girl likes the C&L book - you are v thoughtful. x

Runny, you have a lot on your plate - be kind to yourself.

Elkie, wow, another boy. How lovely!!!

Hope everyone else is ok.

K full of snot and cough, but amazingly slept through last night so I feel more human today. Still feel exhausted though. This weather is just draining.
I also feel like I am never able to breathe in enough iykwim, and my ribs feel constantly achy

Must be my age!

Back later. xx

NorthernLurker · 09/09/2008 17:12

Hi all

Just had a quick scan through

Dooby - sorry to read your sad news

Dippy - what a terrible thing for that family. Makes me count my blessings I can tell you. I'm sure the card etc will be appreciated. Hope you have a nice time with your visiting family!

Eddas - hope you love your new oven! I love my new bike

Runny - will think of you on Monday with the liver appointment - what's the latest with the heart murmur?

Elkie - ooooh scan excitement!

SOL - if it hurts to breathe you have to go and see the doctor!!

Pesha - Moving men is a very good idea - ours were fab and it totally took the strain out of the experience.

Best wishes to all with school starters this month - it's such a massive thing and then it becomes part of your life so quickly. It doesn't seem like more than a year or two since dd1 started and she's off to Big School next year! (NL hyperventilates)

Forgotten everything else as my brain is an exhausted mush from taking stuff in all the time in my new job. It's all good though - I think I can really make a good thing of it. Girls all fine, B is so sweet and chatty now. She says 'ball' and 'mine' and 'sisters' very well - well I think it's very good Dh is away in London for the middle of this week and then all of next It's a bit of a pain but can't be helped. I'm ok with it - just have to gird my loins and get on with things but I know he really misses the girls. (And me too of course - I hope! )

Ooooh - one piece of BIG news though. My SIL is expecting!!! Am so thrilled for her and her dh - and excited for us as this is the first nephew/niece for us and first cousin for our girls. I am really looking forward to the birth - spring baby - but it hasn't made me at all broody thank goodness!!

Got to go make omelettes for small people now byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

StealthPolarBear · 09/09/2008 17:20

hi NL
fantastic news about the cousin-to-be!

elkiedee · 09/09/2008 17:34

Eddas, love the Freudian slip there.

NorthernLurker · 09/09/2008 17:35

Yes it so exciting!!! I'm trying (not very successfully I think) to hold back on the giving info and advice - because obviously I know everything My sil is lovely though and we get on very well.

POTC · 09/09/2008 17:59

OMG

I let the boys do some painting. Left them in the kitchen while I got on with tidying in the living room (they join each other). Thought I'd covered all eventualities, covered the floor with big paper sheets, moved everything, left them sat on the floor painting.

BIG MISTAKE

When I looked up, there's J, or I presume it's J, as his head is completely covered by paint and M has been decorated, although only up to J's height

AAAAARGH

I've cleaned them, now I have to remove paint from the walls, floor, highchair, door, fridge, anywhere else they snuck it!!!!

Eddas · 09/09/2008 18:08

sorry but rofl potc

NorthernLurker · 09/09/2008 18:08

maybe they thought you wanted the place decorating?

or were trying to camouflage themselves?

Very sweet really (says NL who deosn't have to clear it up and who has just had a near nervous breakdown over the amount of banana B has smeared on her self and highchair)

Sexonlegs · 09/09/2008 18:12

POTC, you mad woman!!!!!! Pmsl at the thought of it

NL, how was your first day in your new job?? Fab news re your sil too.
Think I will go to the docs as this has been going on a while. I also find that if I bend down from being seated, my ribs seem to move and it is really painful - can actually see them under the skin Doesn't sound right does it?

Eddas, enjoy your new oven

POTC · 09/09/2008 18:14

wait til you see the photos!
