StealthPolarBear · 01/08/2008 10:49

yes, it's the big military operation one

CaptainDippy · 01/08/2008 11:00

Proud of you Bramshott

I always said I would never dress my girls in identical dresses; but alas, on a few occasions, I have succumbed. They just look soooo cute

CaptainDippy · 01/08/2008 11:01

Had blood tests this am, which was horrid horrid horrid ; but at least it is done now. Should get results mon if all "ok"; Thurs if not ........

Bramshott · 01/08/2008 11:06

Well done Dippy - hope that leads to some answers.

I figure that if I can't dress them identically now, I won't ever be able to!

CaptainDippy · 01/08/2008 11:12

Exactly!

Eddas · 01/08/2008 11:38

i am glad i have dd and ds as i personally hate dressing alike sorry, it's a personal thing as I hate looking at pictures of me and my sister in the same outfit. Or even worse IMO when we had the same thing in different colours! maybe it's just that I was the youngest so she got the girly one whilst i was left with blue/green

Well done, glad the tests are done cd

Doobydoo · 01/08/2008 11:43

Morning All.
So glad you have had the tests done Dippy.Well Done.

Not rained yet but is going to!
Have a good da y all.
Oh,and dp hasn't been paid again! And its bank hol weekend here[grrrr]I will have to let landlady know rent is gong to be late again.I hate doing that.

Bramshott · 01/08/2008 11:44

Ah Eddas, but DD1 is VERY keen!

CaptainDippy · 01/08/2008 11:47
Shock
elkiedee · 01/08/2008 11:48

My stepmother made matching dresses for me and my sister when we were young.

Doobydoo · 01/08/2008 11:48

Were they nice ELKIE

elkiedee · 01/08/2008 11:49

although it should be said that we may not have looked as alike as we had different mothers, and my stepmother is Chinese.

elkiedee · 01/08/2008 11:50

I liked my dress at the time a lot but I don't remember now, I'll have to ask E (my stepmother) if she has photos (I suspect my dad doesn't).

CaptainDippy · 01/08/2008 11:50

Well I never knew that Elkie!

.....but .....

Eddas · 01/08/2008 11:54

sorry it is a personal thing, and as i said it's not a problem for me as I have dd and ds

My sil instisted her 2 ds' were always dressed identically when they were little (only a year apart) and I have to admit they did look cute but it's not for me. my nephews are 9 and 10 now so she doesn't do it anymore. And she did used to say it made it easier when they were out as they were easy to spot!!

CaptainDippy · 01/08/2008 11:57

No I am bcause I've just foundo ut my friend's DD has called her DS Aristotle.

Eddas · 01/08/2008 11:58

oh

I agree that is

CaptainDippy · 01/08/2008 12:00
Shock
StealthPolarBear · 01/08/2008 12:00

Hi everyone
Aristotle is ... different!
I used to get dressed the same as my cousin (every now and again) who is a couple of yesrs younger
feel sorry for her dsis who is a few years youngr, she was looking at a photo of her in a nightie, both me and her sister said "that used to be mine" We're not a poor family, just thrifty!

CaptainDippy · 01/08/2008 12:00

I don't know whether to laugh or cry!!!

Sexonlegs · 01/08/2008 12:06

Another one not keen on dressing dc the same .

Dippy, glad the blood tests went ok and really hope the results can point to something.x Not sure about the name Aristotle Each to their own!

Morning SPB, still standing tall and sharpening those claws??

Morning Elkie

Hope everyone is well. All ok here. K slept until 8 this morning. Hope she repeats this at the weekend! Off to the outlaws after lunch to stay for the weekend and bring B back home. Looking forward to seeing her, but also feeling v nervous as to how she will be having had 2 adults to herself for 5 days!

So, be good ladies, and see you Sunday night for a catch up. xxxx

elkiedee · 01/08/2008 12:21

Wow, perhaps I'll see what dp thinks of that name for our second baby . Probably not though.

CaptainDippy · 01/08/2008 12:27

LOL Elkie - or perhaps Horatio!!?

Hope B is ok SOL
