Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
largeginandtonic · 04/08/2008 13:26

No can't tell at all CM

Glad G was not too poorly with the bug, sick twice i could handle but poor old Hugs was sick umpteen times last night bless him.

Saying that he is asking to go out to play and has just eaten a ham sandwich! How do they bounce back so quick?!

Is it lovely being in the finished house?

Cant see dh keeping up the usage of the slipper object, they are WEAK!

Might go and bake some brownies...

Elkie what are they looking for with the baby now? Are you in the clear? Did you find out the sex?

Please link me to the antenatal thread

Thanks for asking CM, I don't know when the bloods were back. I did it at an outside lab, so who knows. But also they don't call unless something is wrong, so if I don't here anything I don't worry. They'll probably wait for next appointment and tell me all was fine.

JamInMyWellies · 04/08/2008 13:58

PJ where are you how did you get on with the sleeping this wkend?

MKG · 04/08/2008 14:20

I wonder if Sky has her baby yet?

AbbyLou · 04/08/2008 15:28

I was just wondering about Sky too, I bet we'll have news soon!
Hv said Ruby's bad skin is definitely eczema. She gave me a prescription for Cetraben emollient to go in the bath and the cream to be applied 4-5 times a day. She said every nappy change would be a good time. I feel really bad that I haven't got it checked before but it hasn't really bothered her until now. I think the hot weather must be irritating it.
Just been into Derby shooping and come back £170 worse off - all spent on clothes for the kids!! They both need a whole load of winter stuff as they don't have much in the next size. C has nothing really and R has a few bits and bobs form my niece. It's so easy to spend loads though!

cravingaquietlife · 04/08/2008 15:28

Bums....... no news yet!

Off packing again.lol Waves to all.

My mum has made my dress for the wedding on Friday, I LOVE it and can't wait to wear it.

Only teasing SKY!

Going to get kiddies now.

Lupins71 · 04/08/2008 17:48

No news yet ???

You can keep your sweets AM, I have been very good on day 1 - apart from coming over all funny and being sick altho I have eaten fine - lots of fruit, dd made a load of fairy cakes and cookies that are teasing/ torturing me on the kitchen side!!

Will be back in a bit, hope all is ok

Themasterandmargaritas · 04/08/2008 17:49

Mmmmm midget gems, delish. That's definately a pink bump you've got there.

MKG if I remember rightly when pg with dd I felt very tired, ate A LOT, felt very sick and loved potatoes. Didn't have any of that with the boys.

TYG, just read your birth story and am moved to tears. Well don you. I am of course totally not of having a baby but by the fact you are so in control and have such wonderful birth experiences. After 3 c-sections I still feel envious when reading about others and their natural births and a failure that I couldn't manage to get even one of mine to come out naturally.

elkiedee · 04/08/2008 19:41

Hi lgt, my inital CVS results were clear for Downs, Edwards and Patau syndrome, the detailed results should apparently take about another week.

I saw a consultant today at the hospital, heard baby's heartbeat (always the nicest bit of antenatal appointments) and stuff.

Here's a link to antenatal thread

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/2290/572065?pg=2

Will be looking out for news of Sky and baby.

JamInMyWellies · 04/08/2008 19:53

It is lovely took A and the dog out for a spin and it was so much easier to push along in the fields than the maclaren.

Still no baby news??

Themaster I too am mucho jealous of TYG's birthing am determined not to loose it this time and will be grilling her for tips and what hypnobirthing tapes she used.

Booked ourselves onto an NCT refresher course the other day I know its not that long ago that I did it forst time round but though it would be a good way of meeting more mums in the area.

On the dress front what do you all reckon to this one tis a registry office then marquee in the garden do so dont want to be too posh.

elkiedee · 04/08/2008 20:15

Jam, have you seen the argument raging about NCT courses?

I'm doing one too, though I'm not sure whether it's a refresher one or not - I didn't actually get to do an antenatal course first time round. I suspect everyone will be living very far away from me though as the course they've put me on is being done up in Enfield.

elkiedee · 04/08/2008 20:16

Jam, it looks quite pretty and summery to me. When's the wedding again?

JamInMyWellies · 04/08/2008 20:17

elkie saw the thread title and decided to stay away

AprilMeadow · 04/08/2008 20:22

Cant open it but have made my own way to the website and think its gorgeous. Which one were you going for? I love the red!

JamInMyWellies · 04/08/2008 20:27

the red one. The wedding is at the end of Sep so could still be warm but if its not have an isabella oliver dress that will work
