cravingaquietlife · 04/08/2008 21:58

yay.... well done SKY, glad all was well, good weight!

Can't wait to see pics of "our" new arrivals

I do like using a qwerty keyboard again, mumsnet emotions etc are designed for an english keyboard and much easier. (just thought you'd like to know that)

lg&t...glad you got the bump band, had forgotten about it.

Maddie being a pickle this evening, it is 11pm here and she is still full of energy, she knows we are packing and going on holiday, she also knows it is her birthday at the end of the week. I think she is a little excited.

Well done on your weightloss Tilly. Come on spill girl.....you've slipped again haven't you? Norty or not?

TillyScoutsmum · 04/08/2008 22:51

norty

Huge congrats Sky. Can't wait to hear all the details

LookattheLottie · 05/08/2008 00:54

Huge congrats sky!!! Hope you and your new arrival are both doing well.

Must go to sleep, so tired. Dropped pressies off for my neighbour today, her house is up for sale. Too many memories I guess. C has been a whirlwind today, I hate having no help with her. You'd think that living in a house with another 3 adults, you'd get an offer of help every now and then. Obviously not.

Can TYG and Sky, or anyone else who may be able to, email me your address' please so I can send cards for 'our' new arrivals! My email is [email protected] or send me a message via Facebook, please? Thanks.

Off to bed, catch up tomorrow x

JamInMyWellies · 05/08/2008 08:23

Fantastic news SKY so pleased for you all. x

AbbyLou · 05/08/2008 08:29

Congratulations Sky, can't wait to hear all about him.
Well we have rain again today. We are supposed to be meeting some friends up at the Nature Reserve but not sure if we'll still go. I don't really fancy walking 3 miles in the rain!

Themasterandmargaritas · 05/08/2008 09:10

Fabulous news Sky, congratulations to the whole family.

AprilMeadow · 05/08/2008 09:57

Would appreciate an address for Sky if anyone has it.... Cant rememeber who had her as Secret Santa.....

Lupins71 · 05/08/2008 10:31

Raining lots here as well - was supposed to be going on an MN meet up but its a picnic in a park about an hour away and I've wussed out . Was really looking forward to having some adult company for once but I'm a fair weather gal

Sky - Lewis is lovely. Glad everything went well x

charleymouse · 05/08/2008 13:54

SKY congratulations on your new arrival. Well done you and Congratulations to Mr Sky and the Skylets. Or should that be Mr Addict and the little addicts? Think will stick with the Skylets, sounds more appropriate.

Hope you are feeling better soon, don't go trying to do too much. Know how difficult that is though when you have others that need looking after. Take care can't wait for pics.

twelveyeargap · 05/08/2008 13:58

Congratulations SKY! So pleased you're both ok. Make sure you get lots of rest. A litre of blood is a lot to lose. Some people feel faint after donating just a pint! Plus you have had a big op, so I hope you're going to get lots of help at home.

The boy O is sleeping a lot. Unfortunately he prefers to sleep all day then have his awake time from around 1am to 3am. Doh. Still, he's no trouble. Really good baby.

Off round to a friend's house shortly. I'll go mad if I stay in the house all day again today. Was in John Lewis on Sunday. Only needed to change something I bought the other week, but was SO bored I had to get out.

Bought that Susan Reimer muffin cookbook. It arrived in the post about an hour after O arrived. Why did nobody tell me about it before? Muffins are SO easy! Have made three different kinds in the last two days. Will have to hold up and not make any more, because I just keep eating them myself. It's ridiculous. I'll never lose any weight.

Speaking of which; well done on your weight loss, TSM. I put on weight before my wedding! Had to be beaten into my dress.

I don't want to hear that F word with regard to births. You carried three children for 9 months and gave them life. How they made it into the world is really of no consequence. They don't even remember!

elkiedee · 05/08/2008 15:07

TYG, I love the way you put that last bit! I wonder if you scandalised anyone by being out and about so soon on Sunday, and "leisure shopping" too (don't know if you saw the debate about whether someone should take a 4 day old shopping).

Hope you're getting some rest between baking, shopping and socialising!
