ED thanks the gloom is lifting, how are you? Glad the test results were good for you.
SKY thanks, fingers crossed for you today I am betting pink 7lb on the nose. Any news during the time it has taken me to write this post? Ooh only an hour to go. May increase my estimate and opt for a blue 9lber, just covering all bases here.
Lups thanks it is an awful feeling isn't it, I know it will get better over time it just creeps up and smacks you sometimes. Hope your Mam lets you on the laptop suggest she takes her whiffy dog out for its exercise. Maybe Arlen was hoping your Mums dog would copy him with the plug in. Have you lost some weight? Good luck with your mission.
AM cheers sorry Kylie was a disappointment. Love your latest pics of the DCs, how are they settling into the new house?
12YG your birth story sounds wonderful, home births are so nice, DD was chilled and relaxed and the MWs attributed it to the relaxed way of being brought into the world on a positive note this continued until 2.5 years and now we are positively stroppy Keep checking the profile for pics hint hint.
Mrs JB CAQL Thank you hope you are having a lovely trip to blighty.
JIMW will check out some outfits for you. You could always just go topless, these skinny young things tend not to have breasts as far as I am concerned. Maybe a little OTT for a wedding though.
LGT hope you get your apt through soon, we need it confirming there will be a pink one on the way if only for Ps sanity. [Grin] Oh no with the vomiting. G had projectile at 2:30 am on Saturday, I had just got us both showered whilst DH cleaned up the bedroom when he did a repeat performance cue another shower and me and him sleeping on the floor as did not want to risk it on the new bed. Gross proper chunks and everything, I don't really do sick. Just another quiet day for you then LGT?
TMAM your holiday sounds lovely, do you need me to send you an electric blanket?
LATL feeling a bit better thanks, just think the other parents are prob just jealous as they have sacks of potatoes for children whereas yours is bright as a button and inquisitive is a sure sign of intelligence. G has not had his MMR yet as DD had hers around the 18 month mark so G will be similar, I just feel a bit strange about him having the same dose of vaccination as a larger baby so will wait until he is a little bigger.
AL hope the HV has got something for her skin, it is a nightmare, I have a couple pf patches of itchy skin and it drives me mad. I really feel for her. Those ice lollies look really tasty your DCs are so cute.
Hi PJ hope the sleeping is going okay, we have probably errored as we have currently got both DC in with us. I may be coming to you for some tips.
MKG have you had your bloods back yet?
Hope you had a nice time at the festival Benson.
Scoot hope the kids are feeling better and you managed to avoid all the holiday with the ILs
Hi Befnal, Showofhands Tillysmum and eveyone else I have missed.
Anyway I have discovered why I have been so hormonal and feeling like crap last week. DH even commented I had been a bitch to the kids which is very rare. I usually take it out on him, very rarely the DCs. I bought a pregnancy test kit on Friday and did it Saturday am as thought the cramps and strange feeling in my CS scar area could only indicate one thing. Was a BFN by the way. AF arrived this morning I had completely forgotten about having them. I have been hormonal having hot flushes, cramps and bloating and never even considered AF, I even considered an early menopause. DOH. How dopey am I. Had to go to the chemist on the way to work as had nothing with me at the new house. Well it is not something you need when it hasn't been here for almost 2 years. Oh well, a good thing I also bought some slippery thingumy covers whilst in the chemist on Friday. DH looked most disgruntled even when I pointed out I had been the responsible one for 20 years and it was now his turn. I am not having him turn round and say it is my fault if we get caught again. Personally I wouldn't mind but he says he wants NO more. Let's see how careful he is now then. He can't be that bothered though as we have not taken any precautions since the boys were born. I still can't believe how daft I am. I have had all the signs of PMT and never associated them with it. Probably because I have never really suffered with it before so that is my excuse and I am sticking to it.
Had a lovely night last week took DH to center parcs for a twilight spa session for his birthday Hee Hee. Twas a little late as G had the pox on his birthday but SIL picked the kids up from nursery and babysat whilst we chilled out then went for a meal afterwards. Yummy. Had nearly got divorced the week of his birthday though as told him it was all arranged but would have to postpone due to G. I didn't get him anything to open on the day so he was mightily disgruntled. To top it all his dad didn't either. Cue blazing rows all round and he is still not talking to his dad. His dad has not bought him a b'day pressy since his Mum died and obviously on his birthday he thinks about his Mum. Not sure how this will pan out as we now live next door to him. .
On a positive note it looks like work have found me a new job I just have to apply for it and hope no-one else in my dept wants it. I don't think they do but people are holding their cards close to there chest. I want to go part time and my line manager has agreed I can but if I do not get the job they can in theory give me redundancy on part time salary. Think I will have to stay fulltime for the time being and see if I get the new job, if I do ask there about part time working. Interviews are early September so should all be sorted fairly soon anyway.
I get my kitchen worktops fitted tomorrow so hopefully can get the hob put in and the sink connected later this week. Hurrah. I have become too familiar with the local takeaways whilst we have had no facilities. Having the oven connected for the last week has seemed like such a luxury.
Can you tell I am back at work today
