Ah yes muffins, tip in mixture and barely stir Eat you mad thing you have just had a baby and are BF, it is entirely necessary although i am not sure i condone baking so soon after having a baby < ponders > of course i am a fine one to talk.

I had forgotten about that comment from Master... what on earth are you thinking? Of course you did not fail! Some babies come out the sunroof, some pulled out with the vacuum and some by huge spoons. It is no reflection on you. You are a fab mum

Did you get stopped while out in John Lewis? Did you take the beast?

I am totally addicted to jasmine tea and lychee drinks, i had one in Dim t while out with mil and sil. I keep making up vats of jasmine tea to cool down. Better than KK's huh?

Rest up Sky, and don't try to do too much. Take advantage of not having to do anything by staying in the hozzie as long as possible! Only if it is a nice one of course Are the girls at home or at their dads?

TYG you need some rest girl. Eat all the muffins you like, apparently they and a glass or two of beer are great for milk production. I should know after all, they were my staple diet post J and look how he turned out. LOL at the thought of the tutting tongues over your shopping trip. In Africa you're not supposed to leave the house for 30 days, can you imagine???

Jasmine tea LG&T??? That's an impressive craving. I reckon the KK craving will kick in around, oh, say 23 weeks.

Thanks for your comments, i know in my heart of hearts it doesn't matter how they come out, but when I tried so hard and then failed at the last minute, two times in a row, it just feels like I should have tried a bit harder. So near and yet so far. I am of course very grateful to have the gorgeous three that I have. And very grateful not to have to have to go through toddlerdom again after this

My mother is with us for two weeks. The dc are in heaven. I am planning lots of ways to keep us busy. She likes to just chatter away to herself a lot, a bit like a toddler really. Also dh has been in a sulk with me for over a week now, its not like him and I am now starting to find it quite tedious.

Lupins71 · 05/08/2008 17:34

Not alot to report on as I seem to be on a sleep fest - no real reason but A has taken to having a 3hr sleep and I seem to be enjoying a good 2hr on with him - altho at the detriment of his night sleep, anyway I may need to cut down his day sleep as much as I enjoy it as well I really do need him to sleep at night

Mum is still with us, I think its working the kids love it and I like the help but we do things very differantly - this morning I had to stop he putting in a wash of all sorts of colours something I just do not do we have whites darks and something in between - she said she has always done it that way and I had to bite my tongue before I came out with a rude comment, her attitude to her dp keeps changing so not sure how long she is here for could be until october

SKY & TYG hope all is going well with the little bubbas - TYG you must keep eating - whack a handful of blueberries in te muffins and some bran - then you can get away with calling them an antioxident healthy snack SKY I like the name Lewis - it was on my shortlist for A but dp said no

LGT Jasmine tea I've not tried this - I am currently trying to enjoy green tea but after 2 bags am not convinced

DP not working again so yet again in skintsville, why oh why!!! When Oct comes I am going on a crazy spend up, well probably wont as Im too bloody sensible but the thought is nice

Right off to shut mums dog up, where the heckers has she got to???

largeginandtonic · 05/08/2008 18:41

Master what is he sulking for? I hate sulkers, they irritate me sooo much. DH is one, i am queen of ice though and maintain aloof while he strops away, he always says sorry first, even when right I am horrible, i wonder how he puts up with me!

Was it 23 weeks i went for the KK's? Hmmmm. The jasmine tea hot is not great, i recommend chilling and having with ice cubes and a top up of lychee fruit juice. Sainsburys stock it, Rubicon. Oh how i love it. No bad cravings yet, but every day i am so grateful i feel fine after feeling yuk for so long.

Lups good luck with your mum! I too seperate all the washing, no hardship in this house as i easily have 2 sometimes 3 loads a day I think my mother and i would fall out over food, they think healthy is a jar on something. Honestly

Have braved Toys R Us today so dd and ds#3 could spend their birthday money, fed them in Mc d's opposite before coming home. B loved his chips and a bit of a burger! So healthy, not.

Have been shouting at them today, well more than normal. It's the rain, i need them to go out and play.

Hooray for Sky!! Take it easy with the recovery a friend of mine just had a C-section and sterilzation and had a very rough time the first few days.

On my front, I got the new car today. It's a 1999 Dodge Grand Caravan. It's a nice minivan so will have room for not one, but two more children (should we need it). It has some miles on it, but it was in our price range.

I got my blood tests back, and everything looks good except for the fact that I have a bladder infection. So I'll get my medicine today and everything will be good to go.

I have my Mateo back. the house is destroyed and I was up at 6 am with him (Cruz let me sleep till 8am) but I'm so happy. He's happy to be back with us. We're still sick, but managing.

JamInMyWellies · 05/08/2008 18:47

Has anyone heard from Pebblemum not like her to go quiet for so long??

cravingaquietlife · 05/08/2008 18:52

Lewis is sweet SKY, so pleased everything went well.

TYG, now I know you know this already but please get some rest when you can, it's easy to know it and understand it but even easier NOT to do it. I didn't after Maddie was born, I felt right as rain the next day, like nothing had happened. We had family staying immediately after she was born and I really paid for it a few weeks later. My milk suffered the most

See you's all on Monday next week, don't forget we will be in the forest on Saturday if any one wants to come. AM has the details. xx

Oh one last thing,

largeginandtonic · 05/08/2008 18:53

No in fact i was just thinking of her today as i know she goes to the same retail park quite a bit. Hope she is ok.

Themasterandmargaritas · 05/08/2008 18:57

Well done on the car MKG, and of course for having your baby back, its always good to get them back

Lups, I can only manage 2 weeks with my mum. Take heart, we are here for you

SKY, I forgot to say I love the name Lewis. And it goes beautifully with Callum.

LG&T he is sulking because when we were away he had to deal with a mego poo in the pool incident (I was out) and when I got back he said that next time we go away like this we will take the Ayah (nanny)with us, I said no way jose he said it wasn't relaxing a holiday for him so I stropped, in a big way. He came to apologise and I said I felt that he treated J differently to how he had treated the other two, always complaining about him crying (frankly a lot less than dd did)that he is 'hard work', and that when left alone with all three he tries to leave J behind instead of trying to go with all three. I tried to say it in a gentle way, and that I was disappointed. Now he is sulking. Obviously I upset him, but I felt I needed to express my opinion. I didn't yell and shout either (unusual for me!!). AIBU????

largeginandtonic · 05/08/2008 19:31

Oh i see Master! He sounds like me with B I am always moaning about him and saying how much hard work he is, poor chap. I don't think he is, i mean Hugs was pretty awful wasnt he? I moaned about him too. I just think i have had enough of babies and toddlerdom and my fuse is short. I am sick of the poo, wee, weaning nightmare. Poor baby that comes next doesnt stand a chance! I do feel bad about it and must try to not behave differently.

MKG wahoo about the car! Independance back at last, well as much as you can be with 2 children and a bump? Glad you have M back with you Hope the lergy buggers off soon.

Safe travels MrsJB Have fun!

MKG · 05/08/2008 20:12

largeginandtonic · 05/08/2008 20:13

AprilMeadow · 05/08/2008 20:35

Sky, i think Lweis is a lovely name. Hope you are not suffering too much with the pain.

TMAM, you most definately are not the F word! Like LG&T said it doesnt matter how they get out! Hope Dh snaps out of his sulk soon, my dh is an awful sulker, sometimes i am not even sure what i have said/done

TYG slow down Cant wait to see some piccies of O.

Re Pebble, i think i saw a post on Sky's fb profile that said pebble was going to be without internet for a while.... will text her and see if she is ok.

Haha at LG&T saying this is the last, you just wait til this one is crawling then she will be wanting another

Good morning everyone.

Today is Mateo's 3rd birthday. We had cake and ice cream last night to celebrate and it was wonderful. I made a devil's food cake with white chocolate cream cheese frosting. So Yum. The cutest thing was Mateo sang to himself.

I can't believe how big he is.

LG&T have mailed you.

Have had a lovely day today. I have the boys that I looked after in my very first job for the day they are staying over tonight as well. Great kids their mum died a couple of yrs ago and they have had it tough but are fab kids. I looked after them for 10yrs! Bit scary thought that eldest is now 14 and very much a teenager.
