You are obviously an excellent parent - which is why B wants you all the time - who wouldn't want their best friend there to help them all the time? She will become more independant. In the mean time - could you try saying - 'ok you do x for 10 minutes and then we'll have a little show and mummy and K will come and get a big surprise about what a good job you've done - but don't let us see it beforehand or we won't be surprised!'

Don't know if any consolation but ds1 was/is high maintenance and used to call us by name and talk all the time and challenge.He is a total pedant.V lovely but high maintenance.
