I wouldn't say he was clever, he was more interested in watching the tv while mummy wasn't there to stop him, Skott even had to shout through the letterbox and was told that he'd be there in a minute cos he was busy watching tele!

Arse. J up again. My headche is back and only took the Nurofen at 5ish, last dose saw me through from 9 am til 3. Looks like we're both in for a very long night

Feel a bit rough myself - just feel utterly worn out and a but queasy - and no, I am not pregnant It has been so humid today and we sat out for an hour at B's school having an all-school picnic. V enjoyable, but too hot.

thanks for all the sympathy, it was very much needed. I went to the docs and I have viral tonsilitis which they can do nothing for, obviously. so I have soluable paracetamol > vile stuff, but quite affective

My day has got a little better. I went to the cinema with eandh to see Mama Mia. Naturally that was fully booked so we watched Hancock, so I received a much needed dose of Will Smith mmmmmmmmmmm

Gosh, so many of us are feeling rough

I am getting really worried about you - this isn't right to feel so rubbish! Have you been back to the docs and have they done any sort of blood tests etc?

Went back to Drs week before last I think and they said it was probably viral and there wasn't anything they could do. Am taking anti-b's. Bleurgh!

Well viruses don't usually hang around this long - and it could be the anti b's that are making you feel sick. The stuff that dh had a couple of months ago nearly wiped him out tummy wise! What did they give you?

Amoxicillin (or however it is spelt) Anti-b's usually do make me feel sick. I hate being ill

I've just registered on the BNF specially for you Dippy and indeed nausae and vomiting are recognised side effects of amoxythingummybob! Like Dooby I can't see what they hope to achieve with it if it is indeed a virus. Maybe ring and ask your GP to call you to discuss the situation?

I think you should see about blood tests; as Dooby says, if it is a virus, ab's are a waste of time.

How is everyone else?

I am fine now, just tired. K awake again in the night for a bit - with teeth I expect.

Day one of the school hols and B is driving me mad already. I know this is awful to say, but I find her so boring sometimes - just goes on and on and on. She is so demanding as well.

SOL - B is not always going to be this hard. Older girls are lovely In the mean time - maybe you need to keep her focused on task not hassling you - so does she have a den? Could you giver her some stuff to build one with - couple of chairs, bed spread, chocolate spread sandwich to eat in it when it's done? Or what about gardening - give her a corner and tell her to dig, dig, dig. Let her get muddy and hot then go chuck her in the car and go buy a plant for the recently cultivated soil!
