We will EPPM, whenever I do come up over summer. I hadn't set a date had I?

EachPeachPearMum · 23/07/2008 17:29

would be good- I will need to take a day off work, so useful to know in advance, but you can have pretty much choose when you like.

EachPeachPearMum · 23/07/2008 17:29

erm I misread as I HAD better set a date

mustrunmore · 23/07/2008 20:23

OMG, summer hold start here. Got that snse of foreboding... ds1 doesnt go back till Sept 12th

Phoenix · 23/07/2008 20:34

Isn't Sept 12th a Friday? Strange day to go back

CantSleepWontSleep · 23/07/2008 20:41

lol mrm. So what do you have lined up? I am free on Wedns or Thurs next week if you don't have anything planned.

EPPM - I will let you know a date as soon as I know one! I wasn't expecting you to take a day off though, unless you want to. I had assumed we would do it at a weekend.

So, day shopping in London tomorrow whilst dd is at school. Going to try and fit in Selfridges and Hamleys. Is there a H&M with good children's range near either of those mrm or anyone else who knows? Anywhere else I should try and fit in?

Phoenix · 23/07/2008 20:42

Oh it's so hot here today, not even that sunny just hot and sticky. I just had a cool bath and feel less sticky but still hot. Ds' bedroom is 26 degrees. I've left his window open a bit and put his fan on but it isn't cooling the room at all.

Dh is on nights tonight but they changed the night shift start time last month so he now does 10pm - 7am. He's getting on my nerves while he's waiting to go to work.

Phoenix · 23/07/2008 20:45

Did we decide on a piss up date? Or are we not doing it?

EachPeachPearMum · 23/07/2008 21:08

H&M is on oxford circus- quite close to hamleys... dunno about their childrens section, but its a big branch
I am happy to have a day off work am sick of the place, and only been back 10 days -eek

CantSleepWontSleep · 23/07/2008 21:09

Oh good question Phoenix - I'm not sure - will have to look back at old thread.

Will let you know dates asap then EPPM.

Jas · 24/07/2008 07:36

Morning

Hols started yesterday, and by lunch time I was pulling my hair out....dp thought the offer of a free paddling (swimming!) pool was too good to turn down, but of course I was the one left supervising 12 children in it yesterday!

I'm hoping to go out today to avoid a repeat performance.

Questions I've noticed...

No nightmares, but I think he is dreaming and occasionally wakes up crying.

No duvet either. DS is still in a sleepsuit at night, with a tshirt on top to stop him taking it off. Any covers get tossed as soon as he gets in the cot.
Both dds were the same, and dd2 still is at almost 8.

Piss up was 6th or 13th Sep I think. No final decision was made.

EachPeachPearMum · 24/07/2008 11:29

CSWS- re sealife -sundays are usually pretty quiet until lunchtime, though this may vary in holiday time.

Jas- 12! just how big was this pool?

mustrunmore · 24/07/2008 12:29

just on quick, so am only replying to csws, sorry! Am very busy thurs (its motor show and deep purple!! hurray!! taking best friend for birthday trip) But free Wed pm. ds1 has swimmming then I have aerobics, but by 12.30 i'll be back and dh will be out, so it'll be messy from him being home all morniin but we'll be her edoing nothing. Does that fit in with you?

mustrunmore · 24/07/2008 20:56

oops. Its Wed I am busy, Thurs free after 11am

Flamesparrow · 25/07/2008 08:26

Ooh, erm, ooh - let me find a diary

OP posts:
Frizbe · 25/07/2008 17:25

strewth you lot are all very busy

Phoenix, I don't think anyone did decide on a new date, it was down to either me coming with kids or not at all to be decided upon by you guys, or MRM coming with kids to the later date, and me not coming then,as we have an event in Wales to run as well as the shop, gah!

EPPM get yourself checked out me thinks

Dame, good point about the bed.

Who asked about duvets, EPPM? my kids keep them on if its cold, but at the moment, they're both throwing them off and sleeping in just their pj's I don't mind as its so hot anyway. I usually re cover dd2 when I go to bed, have stopped bothing with dd1, as like Jas's dd, she just throws the covers off again.

Jas at pool, fab for being free though

Can I recommend to you all that jelli baff stays in the bath, tried it in the paddling pool and ended up with a trail of crystals through the house, where we'd tried to get the kids into the bath upstairs later, to clean them up properly

My girls night in tonight at mine, to celebrate my bday next week so far another two people dropped out on me today, sigh....due to dh's having to work late apparently but there's still 6 of us at the moment, so more food and booze to go around

Flamesparrow · 25/07/2008 18:33

CSWS - what are the rules with chicken pox and pregnant ladies?

OP posts:
EachPeachPearMum · 25/07/2008 18:59

what is jelli baff?
Flame?????????????????

CantSleepWontSleep · 25/07/2008 19:20

If pregnant person has had CP already then it's not a problem, otherwise it is.

Wondering where exactly you keep your diary that you haven't managed to find it in a whole day! Anyway, have given builders option of trashing downstairs of house whilst dh is away, and they will confirm in next few days. If they do go ahead then I'll go to mum's and you'll have to come later, but will let you know as soon as I do. Or you could come visit at my parents?!

Flamesparrow · 25/07/2008 19:43

they have been playing with poxy child all day in the hopes of getting it, but am thinking about contagious period & visiting you iyswim.

Was out all day!

OP posts:
mustrunmore · 25/07/2008 20:20

CantSleepWontSleep · 25/07/2008 21:00

Forgot to say that Thurs is fine mrm.

Friz - how close are you to Ripley? Want to go there sometime within next month, though not sure when or how!

Phoenix · 25/07/2008 21:07

Isn't their shop in Ripley?

mustrunmore · 25/07/2008 21:07

Great for thurs.

Phoenix · 25/07/2008 21:29

Flame - Are you going to the Manchester xmas party? Your name is on the list.
