Yes lol. As a maybe i think though.

Flamesparrow · 25/07/2008 21:39

it is part of the many years long plan to meet bluedragonfly - it is just the small matter of travel costs to get there

CantSleepWontSleep · 25/07/2008 21:49

Yes Phoenix - it is! Guess that means she's quite close .
Have you been to the Dolls House Emporium Friz?

Flamesparrow · 26/07/2008 09:58

I think I am going to have to say no to coming CSWS

Working on getting myself more sane (I cannot live like this any more), and I think I probably need to stay home to do it.

Can someone tell me if I have deleted my profile?

I can still see it...

Jas · 26/07/2008 17:01

Aaah. Tis gone now.

CantSleepWontSleep · 26/07/2008 17:46

flame, but for getting sane.

Why did you want to delete your profile Jas? Have you got a stalker?

Jas · 26/07/2008 17:48

No, check my other threads.

Phoenix · 26/07/2008 18:12

Jas. Just read the thread (am guessing the sleepover one.) What were you meant to do leave her there terrified all night. The parents must have been very heavy sleepers to not hear the front door open/close or your dd walking around.

Jas · 26/07/2008 18:19

I've just spoken to the dad...he heard the door closing, and voices, and worked out what had happened..

I still feel I should have gone back and woken them, but they ae totally not bothered at all. Their dd has been here all day, and dd1 is going out for a pub tea with them now, so obviously not furious!

Flamesparrow · 26/07/2008 18:28

I saw the other thread earlier. Will reply properly later

EachPeachPearMum · 26/07/2008 20:20

Jas- what were you supposed to do?
As soon as you realised they didn't know, you took steps to rectify it- I'm sure they'd have been really happy if you'd woken them at 1am!

Mirror thread wasn't nice to do though.

Flamesparrow · 26/07/2008 22:20

to top off my fabulous month, my tooth has now broken and will need pulling and a crown (it was filled to hell and back, the remaining piece of actual tooth now gone). How much is that gonna set me back???

OP posts:
Jas · 26/07/2008 22:32

Flame. Is it a tooth far enough back that you could just have it pulled and leave a gap?

Cost is too scary

I may name change soon....my sleepover thread has made me think how easily identified I am atm, and I'm not really comfortable with it.

Flamesparrow · 26/07/2008 22:34

Nah, it is the 3rd tooth from the back, so too close to the front to leave. Have googled - £198. Not cheap, but we can take it out of the flexible loan and just take longer to pay that back iyswim.

for having to namechange. I didn't have any coherent thoughts on the threads

OP posts:
Jas · 26/07/2008 22:53

Its ok. I think the general consensus is I am a bad person.
I've also concluded that dp and I (and the children) all have wierd sleeping habits, which involve leaving on a light, not going to sleep while a child is awake in the house, and staying up late (DP was still up when she rang, and I had only just gone to bed)

Flamesparrow · 27/07/2008 00:34

general consensus is crap.

OP posts:
CantSleepWontSleep · 27/07/2008 09:37

Surprised at the vitriol Jas, but then this is MN .

Went out partying last night - didn't get in til nearly 2am. Still couldn't lay in late this morning, so been up and pottering/tidying.
In-laws brining dd back for lunch.

mustrunmore · 27/07/2008 11:57

Partying?? Disgusting

Jas, dont worry about the general consensus. I've given up asking advice on here (except on our thread) cos I always seem to end up getting criticised. I think last time, it was getting it in the neck for staying home till the kids are a bit older, even though we need more money

Which was the other thread then? I'm confused with tht bit of it all.
Also, out of interest, what time do you go to bed as a general rule? There have been am many many times when I've beendespertarte to go to bed butthe boys have still been bolt awake!

Jas · 27/07/2008 16:49

Other tread was a troll being the mum who woke up to find a child had disappeared during the night, which just fuelled the fire.

If I go to bed before 12 it is an early night. Usuall 12-1

DD1 rarely goes to sleep before 10.30 but i nver have to wake her.

EachPeachPearMum · 27/07/2008 21:29

Whats wrong with going to bed at that time? Thats our normal bedtime too (when Im not pg!)

DD had her first nosebleed today-
She was romping around in the dining room, fell and bashed her nose, and it gushed everywhere. DH says she only fell about 2 inches (she was crawling/climbing over stuff) so we were surprised it bled tbh. She wasn't at all perturbed by it, but I was a bit PFB (in private, when she wasn't there)

EachPeachPearMum · 27/07/2008 22:58

Umm, could someone look at my profile, and tell me how many pics of dd you can see pls?

Jas · 27/07/2008 23:26

One picture of a very beautiful girl, with lovely long hair...there is no way she is the same age as my baby!

CantSleepWontSleep · 28/07/2008 08:03

Ooh yes, gorgeous hair!
