You're all a bit quiet today!
Had a fairly free day today, but couldn't get anything done as we had 8 builders here, and plastering mess everywhere. I couldn't even get to a toilet most of the day because there was so much stuff in the way!
The window got fitted in the dormer in dd's new room, and the view is amazing. Just a shame they've put the wrong handles on the windows, and didn't have the right bits to finish the fitting properly on the outside. It's diff people doing the windows to the rest of the build, and we aren't impressed with them so far. Still waiting on the rest of the windows, which is starting to hold everything else up now, and means that there will still be lots of messy stuff going on after ds arrives - grrr.

Had some reflexology this morning to try and help get things going, but still no signs. You don't have to have Braxton Hicks before real labour do you? I found my old post from when I went into labour with dd earlier, and I'd seemingly had a few days of them beforehand. Haven't had any this time.

EachPeachPearMum · 30/09/2008 20:42

8?
Don't think I could get 8 builders into my house!
I never had any BH, so I don't think you need to have them!

Flamesparrow · 30/09/2008 20:52

Not had a braxton hicks in my life

OP posts:
Jas · 30/09/2008 22:08

No BH here either.

CantSleepWontSleep · 30/09/2008 22:09

Blimey - we're a BH free bunch aren't we!

Jas · 30/09/2008 22:11

And we all ended up with babies, so I think it is safe to say BH are not necessary.

CantSleepWontSleep · 30/09/2008 22:12

mrm- how is your foot now? Any results?

Well- hospital appointment this am- consultant was pleased- no problems, and can go back to community team. Took 5 attempts to do an ECG though! (I obviously have unsticky norks- the leads kept coming off!)

mustrunmore · 01/10/2008 15:20

Foot is given the all clear Still hurt a bit tho, but nowhere near like what it ws! Now am just battling with being unfit and 6lbs heavier

Flamesparrow · 01/10/2008 17:22

for all clear

Mate passed the bit of the course I was helping with

OP posts:
EachPeachPearMum · 01/10/2008 17:34

Yay for all clear!
6lbs will just be the crutches though won't it?

DD had her first meltdown at nursery- all the staff were as she is usually so composed.... she was coveting the dollies!!!!
When it was tidy up time, the other los started putting them away, so she started snatching them back! (snatching is the worst nursery crime there is!)

She had a mega tantrum, poor thing, but she is completely shattered at the moment- I think its a combination of rear molars coming through and a heavy cold.

CantSleepWontSleep · 01/10/2008 18:13

'I think its a combination of rear molars coming through and a heavy cold.' And being 2 years old!!

Yay for mate passing whatever obscure thing required you to go to gym, and even bigger yay for mrm's foot not going to fall off. Though come to think of it, that would be a good way to lose 6lbs .

Flamebat · 01/10/2008 18:18

My baby lost her first tooth

CantSleepWontSleep · 01/10/2008 18:45

You shouldn't hit her that hard in the mouth flame.

Flamebat · 01/10/2008 18:49

i knew it!

Flamebat · 01/10/2008 19:48
