Ha!

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Flamebat · 01/10/2008 21:08

no it ain't, it f*ckin hurt!!!

CantSleepWontSleep · 02/10/2008 13:18

Can I just say aaarrrrrrrrgggghhhhh for building mess and apathy from dh about household stuff.

Flamebat · 02/10/2008 13:42

Argh! with you then!

Jas · 02/10/2008 15:00

You are entitled to an Aaaargh or two. I would be ranting alot by now.

mustrunmore · 02/10/2008 15:03

Building mess, yes. Dh, no. you should be used to it by now

EachPeachPearMum · 02/10/2008 20:50

Well- I have just come back from washing up a mouldy pan!!!! thanks for all your washing up help Dh..... not.
He just doesn't notice anything- house is just such a mess, but I am out all day.

Building mess- well, that is probably awful, especially as you don't know when DS will hatch.

Saw your other thread... how is vision now?
And was cake-baking good?

CantSleepWontSleep · 02/10/2008 21:59

Vision fine atm thanks - was just for an hour or so yesterday, and half an hour this morning.

Cake baking good, but cake eating better .

Have just spent 4 hours cooking then cleaning. Not my idea of fun (except trying out my new mop), but was absolutely disgusting when I got home, and dh had left it all to go and have a soak in the bath . He has been cleaning tonight too though, in an attempt to redeem himself.

Unfortunately there are more delays with our windows, so we won't be at the stage we expected to be when ds arrives. This is particularly bad news because it means that there will be plastering (very very messy) going on in a couple of weeks, and a knock on delay to wardrobe building, decorating and flooring . Going to whinge to project manager tomorrow.

EachPeachPearMum · 02/10/2008 22:40

Can you 'camp' out in a different part of the house when DS arrives? Or move to MILs or anything?

Any BH yet?

CantSleepWontSleep · 03/10/2008 20:34

Evening all. Just signing in to labour watch . Another failed sweep this morning as they still couldn't reach membranes. She didn't reckon there was much chance of a natural labour prior to Monday, based on my position today, so looks like it probably will be induction.

There is no 'other' bit of the house at the moment, and no way am I moving to in-laws (am poss reserving that pleasure for when the driveway is covered in wet pressed concrete!).

Have a feeling that the Home Extension Team (project management lot) won't be using our window guy again, as they are all getting so much grief down to him, and they agree that his communication and service has been terrible.

Phoenix · 03/10/2008 20:41

Your Facebook status made me chuckle csws. Sorry it's not happening for you

I've been off work today . Took ds shopping this morning to get some long pj's (his bedroom is so cold already) and some boots for winter. Then been to see Trace2's dd in hospital this afternoon. She had an op yesterday to put a feeding tube in and she had a reflux op too (can't remember the name of it)

EachPeachPearMum · 04/10/2008 19:51

Any news yet?

CantSleepWontSleep · 04/10/2008 20:04

Nope.

CantSleepWontSleep · 04/10/2008 20:06

Spent the day walking round the zoo and eating veg curry for lunch, but still nothing, except wind .

EachPeachPearMum · 04/10/2008 20:50

Yes, we have had a lot of that here today too! (DD, rather than me though)
Love the new pics! (You actually look pg now-= I thought your bump was v petite when we met up- mine is getting ridiculously huge...and I still have 3 mo left. People are starting to look at me oddly when I say I'm due in Jan )

CantSleepWontSleep · 04/10/2008 20:57

Ooh - have literally just added the staircase pic, so how odd that you should happen to look now!

Phoenix · 04/10/2008 21:07

Blimey, i'll never recognise your house if i come again. It looks very nice . Our house was a disaster just having our roof and loft room done it must be a nightmare for you.

EachPeachPearMum · 04/10/2008 21:14

weird! I only went to look because we went to Pizza Express today and DD was waffing on at length about your DD and her bubbly milk (babycino) which is why I went to have a peek at your pics
I like your dress btw- its very glam.

CantSleepWontSleep · 04/10/2008 21:26

Thank you . It was my £7 bargain from H&M when I went to London at the start of the summer hols!

EachPeachPearMum · 04/10/2008 21:31

Huh! I never see stuff like that in there! I will have to go shopping soon- I have grown out of 1 pair of mat trousers. Just have 2 pairs now, as I abandoned my under-bump jeans early on in both pg. (too cold for me!)
I think I will outgrow my work ones in 4 or 5 weeks which means I will have to get some more, as I'm working up until christmas.
H&M usually too long for me though.

CantSleepWontSleep · 04/10/2008 21:39

I didn't buy any maternity clothes this time. Have lived in stretchy jersey skirts and trousers from Simply Be for weeks. Would some belly bands help your existing trousers to last longer?

EachPeachPearMum · 04/10/2008 22:20

Um...nope- the trousers I just outgrew don't fit anywhere! They are over-bump ones, but too tight there now. Am not worried- they were size 8! (mamas and papas)

mustrunmore · 05/10/2008 10:11

Lol, have you ever spent as little as £7 on anything??!!

Staircase looks superb.

Jas · 05/10/2008 16:05

I love the stairs, and your hair looks good, too

Phoenix · 05/10/2008 16:13

Good luck for tomorrow csws, hope it works and goes quickly or even better you go into labour naturally tonight.

Ds started crying at Come Outside this morning and said he didn't want to watch it so we've had Nick Jr on (complete with adverts ) most of the day .

Where is everyone lately?

Jas · 05/10/2008 16:22

DD1 was terrified of Come Outside DS is watching Antiques Roadshow

Lots of Labour vibe for tonight CSWS, and good luck tomorrow if no labour before then.
