Think I will start looking for dance classes for dd soon- we have been to a couple of movement to music type things but she just clung to me the whole time, and wouldn't join in until it was home time (gets stressed by others too near). Maybe its time to try again.
I wouldn't mind, but she's been at nursery since 13 mo - she's not exactly unused to joiing in with other children.

dude is doing forward rolls, has been since starting nursery... no real shock there, the gymnast boy doing rolls B didn't master them til she was about 4.

Did I mention that B has her SALT assessment next Friday?

Forward rolls only for last couple of months here, but she likes to practice them daily on her crash mat now.

For the record, dd1 just did her 1st forward roll at 4.5, dd2 been doing them for ages, cause she's a monkey like that

Dh slightly drier today and tomorrow too by the looks of things, poor thing has been getting drenched all week. I've said I'm not going down this weekend, as rain forecast for the rest of it, and that's not fair on the girls, so I've arranged to open and close the shop on Sat, (have a friend manning it inbetween) then Sun and Mon we're closed, so off to Mums on Sunday, catching up with some old friends, who are visiting their mums too (probably at Farm park) then Monday will be re arranging garage and house (we've had a door to garage put in by my dad this last week and he's re plastered the celing too, where we had the leak last year, then he's also put us a new door lock on, after that day we had the jamming incident!) So dh will get home and find I've changed the locks guess I'd better get him a new key cut eh!

awww CSWS she has the same cut as my dd1 dd2 has only just got enough hair to have her fringe cut in its getting longer at the back, but is still really thin in comparision to dd1's.

I've been shopping today and got ds some clothes from Primark. 5 pair of long pj's, 2 pairs of gloves, a bodywarmer, 2 t-shirts and a pair of jeans all for £27, bargain I also got me a bag but dh can't know about that cos he'll go mad. I'll just tell him it's one of my old ones, he won't have a clue

Anyone doing anything nice over the Bank Hol weekend? Don't think we'll be cos dh is on nights from Sunday - Tuesday.

I read your tip Friz after EPPM said it but i can't remember what it said either . for dh getting the all clear.

Lol at you lot, I got nosey and looked my tip up, twas one I chucked in about taking disposable cameras on hols for the little uns. Cause the dd's love having their own cameras and I just love the photos of sky, peoples feet and random strangers

Phoenix, sorry your not doing much this weekend, hopefully tomorrow will be dry, so you can do park or summat? did I hear right that they're demolishing the old cooling towers at Meadowhall this weekend big shame, great local landmark, I think they should have turned them into giant flower pots, or some other type of arty thing, the kids used to love marking the journey up to their brothers with those as the halfway mark, guess it'll have to be Meadowhall now onwards

Yes Friz, early tomorrow morning they're blowing the cooling towers up. The M1 is shut for a few junctions and they're going. I would like to watch but no idea what time there doing it or where i could see it from . I remember when they demolished the cooling towers at Wakefield power station, our house shook (my parents house) but we only lived down the road from that.

Lol its too late for me to stage a protest then I don't suppose their giving out spectator ticket either, wonder what they're going to build there, bearing in mind it all flooded the other year?
