We'll have less of that filthy talk on here!

I'm off too. Have to be up for that blardy First Aid course tomorrow at it taking up my Saturday!

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 19/07/2008 05:12

Well maybe the Jamlet fancied the Next sale as she was awake at 4-flipping-30 . But a nappy change and a feed and she went back to sleep [phew]. But then the cat wanted feeding, so I've fed her and cleaned up some poo she'd left in the middle of the floor (sick not envy, obviously), and had a drink, and now I'm wide awake. Bah! Will get a puzzle and go back to bed in a minute. Puzzles usually make me sleepy if I'm tired (which I am, despite being awake). Btw while I like a fair bit of Next stuff for girls, I don't like the prices (I am tight). So only shop there in the sale.

Bumperlicious · 19/07/2008 07:36

Morning,

Sorry you were up so early jammy, hope you managed to get back to sleep. DD was up at 6.15.

I like next for baby clothes, though I only buy in the sale, and in actual fact atm DD doesn't need any clothes! Really not fussed about adult clothes though, and certainly wouldn't be queuing for the sale! But good luck to those of you who have, hope you bag some bargains.

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 19/07/2008 10:25

Well I got back to sleep and we ended up at next at 10 past 8. I wasn't looking for clothes for me, so went straight to the children's stuff. Thankfully I didn't want much for her now, as they had very little in her age. But I got some bits to stash away for next summer. Felt very odd buying stuff in age 2-3 years!!

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 19/07/2008 10:43

DH been looking with Jamlet at the library books we picked while we were out. One of them is Maisy Goes Swimming, and is full of flaps and stuff to undress Maisy. DH was shocked when you pull down Maisy's orange bloomers and there is a nekkid Maisy underneath!

LackaDAISYcal · 19/07/2008 11:15

After not going to sleep till 10 oclock, DD was up at 11, 12, 1, 2 (for a ten minute cuddle each time), the from 3:15-4:30, then she woke up at 6:30 and hasn't gone back to sleep since.

I was also in Next for just after 8 and they had bog all in 12-18months, but I did get a couple of pairs of trousers and a couple of t-shirts for her. Bought loads for the new baby though and some troursers for DS and DH, and a lovely throw for uour bed reduced from £70 to £35. Still managed to spend £140 and dH was but as i pointed out, it should have been nearly £250 so bargain city. Men just don't get sales do they?

anyhoo, off to get readyfor a screaming kids party....oh the joy

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 19/07/2008 13:07

Yawn, indeed Daisy. And good saving! I only spent a modest £19.50 myself. But spoke to one woman who was on her 2nd visit of the day - and it was only 8.15! She'd been down earlier on her own and when I saw her she was back with 3 DC in tow, inc a 4 week old.

NattyPlusTwo · 19/07/2008 13:39

hello girls
guess what?
i am definatly pregnant...

Bumperlicious · 19/07/2008 14:03

Woooohooooo! You mad woman you!

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 19/07/2008 14:07

CONGRATULATIONS AGAIN NATTY!!!

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 19/07/2008 14:09

Bumper, I mailed you & SG last night about the 7th. Sorry, but if it's not too inconvenient can we change the date?

NattyPlusTwo · 19/07/2008 14:28

i am insane, but its to late now... lol

LackaDAISYcal · 19/07/2008 16:24

fantastic Natty

still tired. Finally we have got DD off to sleep....she held out until 4 o'clock believe it or not, and she discovered a love of bouncy castles. I'll upload the photos onto FB.

She wouldn't eat anything today either.....excpet a chocolate cupcake, some grapes a few quavers, a bit of biscuit and an ice cream. I think it was the sugar rush keeping her going.

DH and I are now desperately tired and getting very snippy with each other!

LackaDAISYcal · 19/07/2008 16:47

bloody hell she is awake AGAIN!!!!!

FrazzledFairyFay · 19/07/2008 19:01

Daisy, I hope you ahve a better night tonight

Hooray for Natty and Mr Natty!!!!!!!!!

foxythesnowfox · 19/07/2008 19:44

Whoo-hoo for a BFP Natty

I did OK in Next today, some PJs, bras and knickers for me. And a sun-suit for LO for Next year.

Oh, I meant I didn't like the hysteria created by the 5am rush, not that I didn't like Next itself

LackaDAISYcal · 19/07/2008 19:49

thanks fairy. think it might be her teeth or a sore throat as she keeps pointing to her mouth. Have pinned her down and force fed her calpol and teething granules, then she actually ate quite a bit of pasta for tea (wouldn't entertain the sausages they had with it) and won't use her sippy cup but will take a bottle, so had chamomile tea from it earlier. she has been soooooo grumpy though and screaming when she doesn;t get her own way. She laso got her leg stuck between the radiator and the wall earlier and we couldn;t get it out as the lip of the windowsill was in the way (our sofa is in the window btw and she climbed up). I had to lather her leg up in doublebase to get it out and we thoguht we'd need the fire brigade at one point to get her out without breaking her leg!

Anyhoo put her down at 6:40 and after 20 mins of shouting a bit, she is asleep. DH and I are doing shifts tonight so we can at least get a few hours solid sleep each. I'm bagsying first go on the sofa.

Waiting for my steak sarnie, and then I'm off to bed.

foxythesnowfox · 19/07/2008 19:57

poor LO Daisy. Sounds like you are having a right old time of it.

FF - after your posts last night I realised that LO had wind during the night. Last two nights were rubbish, last two nights beans & pulses have been involved in dinner. So thanks for that

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 19/07/2008 20:12

Hope you get a better night Daisy. Hopefully she'll get plain worn out soon and have to sleep?

And you too Foxy.

FrazzledFairyFay · 19/07/2008 20:12

I'm glad to be of service Foxy

LackaDAISYcal · 19/07/2008 20:18

I've put the boucny castle photos on FB. You wouldn't think that was a baby who'd only had six hours sleep in total. She was ice-cream and cupcake fuelled by that time though.

DD seems to be ok wiht pulses; no ill efects that we've noticed anyway.

apologies for typos.....too fecking tired ot think!

foxythesnowfox · 19/07/2008 20:48

Great photos Daisy! She's such a little lady

LackaDAISYcal · 19/07/2008 20:54

she is a poppet......normally

she has been unsettled and bleating already; could be in for another long one

do you like her trews? £3 in the next sale!

LackaDAISYcal · 19/07/2008 20:55

when does DH go away foxy?

is he going where i think he might be going?

HellHathNoFury · 19/07/2008 21:27

Congrats Natty!!

Daisy, love the pictures

So tired. DH's b'day today. Have been shopping, baked cakes, been out to lunch, been to playground, done housework, cooked dinner, am now ready to drop.

Tomorrow morning we are hoping to go to a boot sale, and if I get my way, to the Next Sale

But knowing my luck will just end up taking DS swimming instead. No rest for the wicked.
