those threads confuse me cos I don't cross threads enought to know whos is real/in disguise/taking the piss. It's too scary I've never got the point of stirring up trouble then sitting back to watch.

I have a lot to learn.

LackaDAISYcal · 17/07/2008 23:43

it smells different.....priceless

'twould be the smell of conservative gentleman farmers methinks

LackaDAISYcal · 17/07/2008 23:53

i've had enough of bricks for one night.....

g'night xx

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 18/07/2008 08:37

Not sure what's wrong with me this morning. I just sat and cried because I didn't want DH to go to work

Bumperlicious · 18/07/2008 09:23

Jammy. Tired? Long week? Are you on ADs? What would make you fel better?

LackaDAISYcal · 18/07/2008 09:31

jammy.

Is it your forgetting to take your ADs catching up with you? I always feel fine for a few days and then it floors me.

Have you guys got any holiday booked? maybe a couple of family days is in order; do something really nice this weekend.

This time next week we'll be getting ready to set off

Had a lie in this morning. DH fed DD at 6 and then she went back to bed till half eight. He got up and got DS ready and took him to school, so I've had a very lazy hour so far.

But gotta wangle a docs appointment and do some housework as DH is showing me up in the fact that he did more in two hours last night than I have managed to do all week

hi bumper

Bumperlicious · 18/07/2008 09:45

Hi daisy - I have found the perfect place to get a helmet for my bike! and this which is a pannier and a handbag

LackaDAISYcal · 18/07/2008 09:49

oooh, love the bag bumper. I would use that as a handbag all the time, never mind just with my bike.

DD still a hot little grump this morning....but only 102, so it;s coming down . Not sure how long I should leave her like this before calling the docs. What if it isn't to do with her MMR and is something else? but I know they'll just say it's the MMR

I might ask if i get to see the doc myself.

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 18/07/2008 10:12

You're going to be one of the most stylish cyclists on the roads Bumper

I think it is partly because I'm tired, might be because I missed some ADS (though have been taking them regularly again the past few days), and also because we don't seem to have any family time just the 3 of us for ages. I can't wait for tomorrow. But then there'll be garden chores to be done, so how much time we'll get to just do something nice together I'm not sure.

Amazingly Jamet is having a nap in her cot this morning. I put her in there because I couldn't fave being watched while I was on the loo, and decided her screams were preferable, and she was in a right tizzy when i came out, but went off to sleep as I calmed her down. So I've managed to get our swimming things together in peace (instead of flapping about like a blue arsed fly as usual) so if she wakes in time we can go and have a nice play at the pool, which will make me feel a bit better I'm sure.

andiem · 18/07/2008 12:07

jammy sorry you are feeling down hope you can get some family time this weekend

We got to the pool and had good fun splashing about. We joined in the children's songs session and jamlet started clapping along to "if you're happy and you know it"

have just got some bits in the next sale....hardly anything left in the DCs sizes though. Wanted some sleepsuits for virgil, but nothing left at all. Looks like I need to be there at bloody 8am tomorrow morning

DD still not a h

LackaDAISYcal · 18/07/2008 15:18

i hate this fecking laptop, I'm always doing that and i've no idea how! I daren;t use the shift button as when I do it hightlights and delets whole bloody paragraphs.

of course I'm not even considereing operator error

anyhoo...DD still not a happy bunny. Temp still high in spite of calpol and nurofen and she is just miserable. HV said injections shouldn't cause a high temp, but that's not what the NHS website said.....who to believe? . she said if no improvement in 48 hours take her to docs.....will be 48 hours by teatime.

LittleMissNorty · 18/07/2008 15:54

Take her to GP Daisy and have your mind put at rest. Every time this has happened to me its been an ear infection thats needed antibiotics.

Hope she's ok x

LackaDAISYcal · 18/07/2008 16:50

I think my emotional state today is making me over anxious as she is fine otherwise if a little peaky and peelywally looking. Just worried about another episode like she had when she ended in hospital. We're gonna leave it till tomorrow and see how she is then.

Had a really good appointment with my doc though; not my usual doc as he is on hols, but the one I saw talked through all my depression stuff with me and asked about support at home and how I was getting on with the psych etc. She also checked me over since I haven't seen my MW for 9 weeks and said the weight loss is OK, provided baby is growing fine and she said I'm measuring right for dates. It was nice to not just be shoved in and out for a change.

I then went in to see the HV at the baby group and sat and had a lovely chat and a laugh with my mum friends......and all the while felt like I was about to burst into tears

Bumperlicious · 18/07/2008 17:38

Awww daisy. Sorry you are feeling anxious. I think everyone on here needs a big glass of wine

I saw the doc today too. My thyroid levels are normal, and they have no idea why I still feel so tired and there is nothing they can do about it.

NattyPlusTwo · 18/07/2008 17:40

good evening.
whispers i got a very faint positive test today......

LackaDAISYcal · 18/07/2008 17:46

good news natty

LackaDAISYcal · 18/07/2008 17:47

bumper, are your iron levels OK? and other mineral levels? low potassium can make you tired and grumpy.

mind you, so can looking after a toddler and doing a full time(ish) job and running a household as well.

NattyPlusTwo · 18/07/2008 17:52

daisy i hear that! IM SO SO TIRED! had a very busy day, would it be evil to put the kids to bed now??

LittleMissNorty · 18/07/2008 18:21

Daisy - you haven't seen a MW for 9 weeks....is that normal practice in your area?

Evening all.....good news Natty

NattyPlusTwo · 18/07/2008 18:49
