andiem · 17/07/2008 17:05

a lovely grey spotty mamas and papas

and a mothercare one

my fave is the mamas and papas in that group

if you want one I will beg them to give it to me

LittleMissNorty · 17/07/2008 17:10

I'm not finding out what I'm having so tempting as it is to go for the MaxiCosi one (as that would match DDs next size up seat ....the M&P one sounds sensible ...what's you e-mail addy Andie?

andiem · 17/07/2008 17:13

norty it is andrea dot cockett at dsl dot pipex dot com

LittleMissNorty · 17/07/2008 17:21

e-mailed you Andie in case you think its a random stranger.....

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 17/07/2008 19:12

Woohoo! Jamlet went to sleep easy peasy tonight And I managed to make up a bedtime story for her OK off to do my work now...

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 17/07/2008 19:59

If anyone knows anything about mat pay type issues I could do with some advice here. Or if you know any MNers who might help, can you nudge them towards my thread please? Thanks.

LackaDAISYcal · 17/07/2008 20:07

DD still not eating and temp back up to 104 again. she hasn't been happy at all this afternoon, but she did take 7ozs of milk and has had lots of fluids.

Apart from the grumpiness and the temp and the no eating she seems fine.

DH is home now though thank goodness and I managed to make the house look not too bad either.

LackaDAISYcal · 17/07/2008 20:10

god, jammy they are truly shite your lot aren't they? I see flowerybeanbag has found you; you can't get a more clued up MNer to help. She has her own employment law consultancy

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 17/07/2008 20:28

Annoying thing is that they're not "our lot". We were doing OK with our own payroll section until we merged into the bigger organisation and they decided to use this payroll provider a year or so ago and it's all been downhill since then

justRia · 17/07/2008 20:30

I am obviously very stupid because I got confused between Engligh Heritage and the National Trust.

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 17/07/2008 20:30

And sorry to hear that DD's not right. Hope she feels better in the morning, for both your sakes.

I'm taking Jamlet for her jabs on Tuesday (the booster one, MMR in a month's time still). Not looking forward to it.

HellHathNoFury · 17/07/2008 20:32

Evening all

Is everyone well?

I have had a poopy day. Nothing actually happened... just feeling low.
DS has grown so much I can't believe it. He has started brushing his own hair and feeding himself now. Aren't they funny. I am very proud.

justRia · 17/07/2008 20:34

DH calls it gypsy toast too. Must be a west thing?

I am waiting for the DCs to go to sleep so I can safely leave them with DH and go see Dsis for a glass or two of wine on her 40th.

I wish the little buggers woud hurry up, this is valuable drinking time

justRia · 17/07/2008 20:36

Hi fury, sorry you're feeling low. Hope a chat with us can help make you feel better. Your DS sounds so sweet.

LackaDAISYcal · 17/07/2008 20:53

fury, sorry you're having a poopy day and hope we can cheer you up a wee bitty

I'm struggling with the blues at the minute as well and think i might need to up my meds . They said this might happen as the pregnancy progressed and blood volume etc increases.

Ria...I think my DH would choke if I even suggested he was from the west. to him that means "t'other side of the big hill", not West Yorks

LackaDAISYcal · 17/07/2008 22:06

has everyone gone?

DH is making me go to bed early tonight....and not in a good way; he says I look like death warmed up and need to sleep for a week and should stop the late nights.

I'm desperately trying to bargain a few more hours minutes out of him

justRia · 17/07/2008 23:13

Have you all gone?

Had a great evening wth Dsis

Where is DH from daisy? They are very touchy round these parts

LackaDAISYcal · 17/07/2008 23:22

He's from Garforth Ria....the land of the blessed according to him!

justRia · 17/07/2008 23:26

you should be in bed daisy!

justRia · 17/07/2008 23:28

...that's considered "west" in these parts
So is DH - he cllings to the fact he was born in N Yorks, but he grew up in Boston Spa - Wessie!!!!

justRia · 17/07/2008 23:29

You know Tolkien found massive inspiration over here...

LackaDAISYcal · 17/07/2008 23:30

I know but I was allowed to stay up to watch Ray Lamontagne on Beeb4.

and i have got caught up in the most surreal trolling thread ever. double trolling and an account hi-jack as well....does it get more entertaining than this

I really need to get a life don't I?

LackaDAISYcal · 17/07/2008 23:32

I think boston spa is considered N Yorks....just though!

My FIL won't even concede that the East riding is part of Yorkshire, says it's its own county (didn't Maggie try to redraw the boundary and make it part of humberside to give them a majority there or something?)

justRia · 17/07/2008 23:35

they were Humberside for a while (the boundary was just near our farm boundary) but it's East Yorks now. I think. My personal opinion is Boston Spa is West (FIL talks like one!) it smells different!

Am off to look at your link...
