morning.

fecking vertbaudet. I've had three separate emails saying different things that I ordered in the sale are "out of stock", when they were fecking in stock when I bought them. I hope M&S don't do the same; they did to me last year

Should have got some shirts for DH though; his collars are getting a bit frayed! Ah well, more shopping..woohoo

presents for teachers...what, for doing the job that they are actually paid to do? pants to that [churlish emoticon]. We'll make a thank you card. Can't afford to splash out for teacher and four different teaching assistants!

foxythesnowfox · 17/07/2008 09:59

foxythesnowfox · 17/07/2008 10:04

Morning all

Wassup foxy?

foxythesnowfox · 17/07/2008 10:13

LOL PoP

ooh, staying out drinking until 2am, wanting sex, sulking, sleeping on the sofa, going back to bed at 8.10am, after telling me he's "working from home". AIBU? No I'm fecking not.

How are you today?

I might buy that Wii as I am narked off with him

foxythesnowfox · 17/07/2008 10:14

Hey Bumper! Been meaning to email you, sorry, haven't been in touch.

LackaDAISYcal · 17/07/2008 10:15

i stopped watching the wright stuff. It used to be good, but he is too pumped up with his own self importance these days and i hate the way he completely railroads callers of he doesn;t agree with them....

so...i couldn't agree more

morning by the way

LackaDAISYcal · 17/07/2008 10:17

PMSL...i thought you were talking about matthew wright until i got to the working from home bit and then scrolled to the posts I missed. I thought you had moved him in and dumped DP

Morning all ....oops just spent £96 in the Next sale and another £100 in the M&S sale.....my thinking is that when LO comes along next year, I won't have any money, so I'll buy it all now ...and despite me saying I wouldn't buy any maternity clothes this time, I just have.....can't resist....and they are nice

My DH sulks Foxy when he doesn't get any ....hard life innit?

Bumperlicious · 17/07/2008 10:31

Foxy that's shit, get the wii! Btw if you find a wii fit let me know!

LackaDAISYcal · 17/07/2008 10:39

I have noticed in my sale shopping that the pjs and vests etc I've bought for DD are a lot more unisex than anything I've bought before

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 17/07/2008 10:43

Morning all. Been cleaning up. Thursday morning is officially clean up the downstairs morning in this house - kitchen, dining, living room. Plus make an attack on the laundry.

And get the wii, Foxy. They're great. And if we can manage the technology I can send you me, DH and the jamlet as wii characters so we can hang about in the background of your games

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 17/07/2008 10:44

I am a 1st class mummy! Jamlet is playing with the stamps again and has stuck one to my leg

LackaDAISYcal · 17/07/2008 10:45

lol at 1st class mummy

foxythesnowfox · 17/07/2008 10:50

I heart you guys

PMSL at your confusion Daisy. Even I'd draw the line at MW

Bumper, is it just the Wii Fit you want? Or the Wii console too?

justRia · 17/07/2008 10:52

LOL at first class mummy. do you want to come and clean the downstairs of my house too jammy? I washed the living room curtains and cleaned the lampshades yesterday. Heavens knows when I'll get to clean the room to put them back, I have an inkling that step ladders and baggins would be a bad combination.

I have bought DS2s teacher a small plant and he may make shortbread tonight. I am a bit of the opinion it's what they get paid for too, but I suppose she has made an effort with him (and I don't want him to be the only kid without a present) AIBU to get a bit pissed off though, with her TAs who keep comparing DS1 & 2 and saying how much "nicer" DS2 is? DS1 was a lovely well-mannered boy in reception (until they got their hands on him...not his fault he has straight hair and blue eyes is it)

FrazzledFairyFay · 17/07/2008 10:54

Good morning everyone.

Foxy, definitely get the Wii, we love ours. I am after a Wii Fit as well.

We went to Chessington World of Adventures yesterday with whole family as DSis goes back to Oz today . The DCs loved the rides, the sweets and dougnuts and the new sealife centre.

I have looked at the M&S sale online and there's not much left, which is probably just as well tbh.

Andiem, I will text you about coffee in Kingston next week - anyone else is very welcome of course!

Am I the only one who is dreading the hols? I just don't know how I'm going to entertain both DCs 5 days a week with no nursery and all our usual haunts (soft play, etc) being full of big kids . If anyone would like to do another mini meet-up before August, I'm willing to drive .

justRia · 17/07/2008 10:55

TBH I thought you were talking about MW too foxy, but I didn't read it properly.

DSD went to see Top Gear filming yesterday - watch out for her on Sunday, she is the digustingly pretty one with auburn hair near the front. (She asked DH to go but Surrey is not a practical day trip from here. Though he would have looked a twit on telly, and old enough to be her father)

My keyboard is being weird today.

Bumperlicious · 17/07/2008 10:56

Just the wii fit foxy.

Fairy, any time you are up this way come and see me. SG and Jammy and I are having a meet up here if anyone else wants to join us on the 7th Aug.

FrazzledFairyFay · 17/07/2008 10:56

for you Ria, imho you should never compare 'niceness' in children like that - they are each their own person.

We are just entering the whole 'presents for teachers' world with DD's nursery. Thankfully, one of the experienced Mums took it in hand and suggested that we all contribute whatever money we would have spent into a central fund and we would give it to them to be divvied up - rather than them each getting loads of small pressies.

justRia · 17/07/2008 10:57

about your sis going back fairy. I am dreading the bit of the hols after my sis goes home too, until then my DCs can play with hers (though not in my house cos it's too untidy!) DS1 is booked into a few out of schools activities run by the local schools cluster, but there is nothing for DS2. At least if DH is still here we can go to the beach and forestry and other free stuff.

justRia · 17/07/2008 10:59

I reckon that is a good way of doing it fairy, then they can have a big voucher or whatever, but I bet there's still at least one smarmy arse person that takes and individual gift too.

FrazzledFairyFay · 17/07/2008 11:00

I would love to come down sometime Bumper. I will have to let you know about 7th though as we may be at my parents' that week - depending on DH's twunty work getting their act together. I still haven't made it to your neck of the woods to see DH's friend's baby , after cancelling months ago. He has taken the DCs but I stayed at home as wasn't feeling very well.
