Where are we going on the big meet up by the way?

andiem · 16/07/2008 16:21

you know jammy i was just thinking that and it hasn't been decided yet I don't think........

LittleMissNorty · 16/07/2008 16:21

LOL Andie.....my DH nearly got his dinner in his lap last night

Daisy....no medication for at least another 5 weeks.....and only if I can persuade her ....I really don't know how am I going to last until then....I'm becoming bulaemic (?sp)....can't keep a meal down

Some people will buy ANYTHING....just don't bother with the really heavy stuff unless its worth a bit then send it parcel2go for a tenner ...when I re-fitted my bathroom, someone spent a fortune on all the old fittings, even the shower.....

If you FB me your auction number, I'll start the bidding for you (don't want it though!!)

LittleMissNorty · 16/07/2008 16:24

I sold a Renault Laguna Key wallet (plastic tat) for £10 on e-bay a little while ago....sell all my clothes that I bought on the hop and then decided I didn't like , DDs stuff bought, not practical and wouldn't use for another baby, unwanted crap presents bought for Xmas, computer stuff, anything really....some people will buy anything....and I always sell cheap....just to get rid

LackaDAISYcal · 16/07/2008 16:36

norty, can you see soemone else at your practice?. Your GP is being an unreasonable cow bag if refusing to give you anything until 16 weeks. See the practice manager and demand some drugs! My posych (consultant at the perinatal MH unit so he kinda knows his stuff) said not recommended befroe 12 weeks, but if it's a case of saving the mum's sanity, there are medications that can be prescribed sooner. you need a referral to someone with more expereince of neonatal MH issues.

LackaDAISYcal · 16/07/2008 16:39

lol, DD is trying to say chocolate.....that's my girl

sounds more like cock-it though

LittleMissNorty · 16/07/2008 16:39

will cross that bridge in about 3 weeks

single practice GP who told me to "keep busy"

just went to the PO to post my package and it bloody shuts on a Wednesday afternoon. I've already contacted my buyer to say i've posted them . they are going 2nd class; should I post 2nd class tomorrow as normal or be nice and send them 1st as it's my mistake about the PO being closed? I'm terrified of getting negative feedback.

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 16/07/2008 17:26

I guess it depends on how much the difference is?

LackaDAISYcal · 16/07/2008 17:36

it's only about 35p more for first class which was the price of the envelope. I do reuse other envelopes at times, so maybe this once......and I'll remember that Mr G shuts on a Wednesday afternoon in future!

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 16/07/2008 18:02

I think for 35p I'd go 1st class and put it down as part of the learning curve

Bumperlicious · 16/07/2008 18:18

Afternoon ladies.

I have just bought this. Tres expensive but my work do a salary advance scheme that you can pay back over 12 months. I'm going to start riding to work again.

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 16/07/2008 18:32

looks good Bumper. My work do a scheme like that I think.

justRia · 16/07/2008 19:16

nice bike bumper, money saved in the long run if you don't have to drive.

Can someone tell me why I decided to bake? Now I have to wash up.

There is an echo in our house tonight, I am having to repeat myself several times before anyone does as they are asked.

Weird at sports day - my friend came and sat with me and we chatted like there had been no oddness and blanking and snide emails. Strange. Then Ds told me that her DS told him he hated him for growing up.bloody kids.

justRia · 16/07/2008 20:28

It's gone all quiet again...

LackaDAISYcal · 16/07/2008 20:52

I'm here (quelle surprise )

DS and I have been watching crazybones videos on You Tube!

LackaDAISYcal · 16/07/2008 20:52

...and virgil has hiccups

foxythesnowfox · 16/07/2008 20:53

I'm here, trying to sort my photos out and uploading/downloading them to be printed.

Can't be doing with this modern technology - I like photo albums.

And I had to give up on making a DVD of video footage just couldn't figure it out.

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 16/07/2008 22:21

I have been working, and it's gone on far too late for my liking. Why did the Jamlet have to pick tonight to take 40 sodding minutes to go to sleep?

LackaDAISYcal · 16/07/2008 22:39

I've been picking what i want from the Next sale. Have finally got a VIP slot for Friday afternoon, but there will be feck all left by then. the way the sale stock is set up is truly shoite. Why can't it be in pages like the catalogue is; I've found some baby jogging trousers and then had to wade through 23 pages of assorted t-shirts to find the matching ones.....and i'm not sure if they are even the right ones!

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 16/07/2008 22:55

Hi chicks, haven't caught up, but hope you are all well.

Just popping on to let you know the M&S sale prices are going on as I type here.

BUY, BUY, BUY!!!

Love you all xxx

LackaDAISYcal · 16/07/2008 23:30

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 17/07/2008 07:40

Yay! for the M&S sale. I just bought some tops, leggings and jammies for the jamlet, a blouse and top for myself, and a top and some trousers for DH

justRia · 17/07/2008 09:19

Morning all.

Just sorting my ebay parcels, put have been skim-reading the thread about prezzies for teachers. £50 for a pedicure!!! It's not something I've done before but was thinking about it, being DS1s last year etc, but I don't think I can afford it!!! DS1 is going to make some flapjack for the staff room though. and has bought a 76ottle of real ale for his teacher becuae there is a privater joke in the name
