I think it's the big brother influence. At this age they aren't meant to play with other children, just alongside them, but she definately plays with DS. As soon as he lays son the floor she throws herself on top of him shouting "Eeeeeeeeeeeee" and then crawls away as fast as she can so he can chase her!

My neck is really stiff I need a good massage. But I seriously doubt I'll get one.

Bumper - I've recently put my travel cot up as a playpen - can't you do that and save yourself the money? Like you say, not sure how long they'll need it for.

Hope the haircut went well Andiem - I;ve worked out that in a year I've only had my hair cut twice - need to get it done again.

No - not really - I'm scared - its been 14mths.
I also need some new flatish black shoes to go with my new uniform - think unisex black trousers/light blue shirt/epaulettes!

Mind you I went out for a pizza at 5 last night with a friend and DP "practised" giving Lo dinner and putting her to bed - the house was like a bomb site when I got in!

Good on DP having a "dry run". And if you have a mundane uniform you can separate work from RL?

L has started "signing" back to me!!
she's done - Cup/Food/All gone/Bed/Milk - all of a sudden - she's so pleased with herself bless her!!
The only other signs I've done to her are : nappy change/bath/home/- I think thats's it - so it would be good if she did those as well!! any one else doing signing??

Thanks Daisy - I had a quick look - the only thing with buying shoes online - is that you can't try them on and Im sometimes a 39 sometimes a 40. I think I prefer "proper" shoe shopping.
Its the prospect of return postage etc

Daisy, very impressed at DD dressing herself. She always did seem very bright.

DS is moving up a room at nursery this week. They grow so fast.

lol fury, I don't think putting her big bro's pyjama shorts on upside down over her head is quite dressing herself, but she'll get there which is just as well as come November she is on her own!!....and really, it's the undressing I need to watch

aaargh, I have loads I want to do and baggins just wants to cry. Have to go to work at lunchtime too to cover for someone on strike.

I have six people watching my pram on ebay, but no bidders yet.....exciting, but frustrating. C'mon you feckers....show me the money!

this selling lark is a bit addictive. I've sold a fair few nappies as well as my steriliser and am spending my days surveyING ALL THE ROOMS IN THE HOUSE (oops DD helping) for things I can sell!

DH will come home on Friday to an empty house, lol!
