I have no idea what happened there! Was in the middle of typing and it went haywire

Hi Jammy.

Glad you had good weather for the fayre though Ria; DS has his school summer picnic on Wednesday; I'm sure it's going to pee down with rain.

DS1 used to do the eating thing too daisy. He still has little dicky fits when his anxiety is bad where he feels sick, but he isn't so slow anymore (though they both sometimes pick and examine every mouthful - drives me MAD).

We are watching the Trumpton vidoe I got from the fayre for 20p. I wish it would finish so they go to bed. Everyone is very chilled out.

HellHathNoFury · 14/07/2008 20:52

PoP, you could be my alter-ego.
My mum thinks I am mean because if DS doesn't eat his lunch he gets it for dinner... etc.

I don't 'do' food wastage, and he is going to learn to eat what we eat like it or not.

Seems to be working so far but of course anything could happen. So far he likes dim sum and udon noodles and burgers and everything so it's all good.

He has now mastered running... it's a pain esp when the running is at speed, into me, when I am carrying something, or running with his hobby horse leaving a trail of destruction behind him.

He has also learnt that if he pushes his ride on next to the sofa, he can climb on it, onto the sofa, and then can destroy much, much more.

Still not talking though.

I am in a good mood, I sold another pic.

justRia · 14/07/2008 20:54

hi fury. all sounds good.

must put these boys to bed...

justRia · 14/07/2008 20:55

baggins likes to run too. Not sure where he gets that from

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 14/07/2008 20:57

No talking really from the jamlet either Fury. "Dadadadadadada" and the occasional "'ello" and that's your lot.

She learnt how to smack her lips together last week, which makes a good sound. And at the weekend she learnt how to blow raspberries on my cheek rather than just in the air. She is funny. Though not so funny when she chews my chin. I have little bite marks all over it now she has a top tooth. Nursery were impressed today with how here teeth have come on since last week, and how she kept trying to pull herself up on everything apparently.

HellHathNoFury · 14/07/2008 21:02

I am really happy and 'validated' today. I sold a photo. It really makes my day/week etc. Plus I am now a permy at work!
Things are finally slotting in to place...about sodding time!

LackaDAISYcal · 14/07/2008 21:04

yay on selling the pic Fury...and just listening to your DS's exploits is wearing me out! DS used to ome home from nursery absolutely knackered, but it sounds like it has the opposite effect on mini-fury (maybe if you changed your name to something with serene in it, he'll catch on )

bugger, the bangers mash and beans went in the bin....a missed opportunity there! He seems to object to anything that he has to chew on; he's only got one wobbly tooth, not a gobful of them!

DD loves beetroot salad...very entertaining watching her eat it and the after effects are...alarming to say the least!

He is always full of beans and bouncing around. He went through a screaming phase but I sorted that one out and now he is a joy (if a livewire joy!)

Beetroot salad - brilliant. And I might add that you are braver than me, I wouldn't dare, too much washing.

DS is allergic to chemicals we discovered. Anyone else got a LO who is allergic to bubbles/bio washing powder/baby wipes etc?

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 14/07/2008 21:11

Jamlet loves beetroot! And I find it washes out fine. (We use non-bio by the way.) But yes the nappies the next day are a bit alarming. We have to warn nursery

NattyEcoWarriorPrincess · 14/07/2008 21:24
