i'm off too.

hi to jammy and fury although I've missed you both.

Self impose MN ban through the day all next week. So, I shouldn't be here until after 7pm. Can I resist though?

justRia · 14/07/2008 10:05

No MN ban for me

Hi all.

School summer fayre tonight. I believe DH is on the hotdog stall.

Have a good day.

LittleMissNorty · 14/07/2008 10:07

Morning

I've just had a lovely bath all on my own, while DD is asleep....had a little snooze in there.....luxury.....

So, how's the self-imposed ban going then Daisy

LittleMissNorty · 14/07/2008 10:07

Morning Ria

No ban for me either although I must go and paint my nails before DD wakes up ....

foxythesnowfox · 14/07/2008 10:32

morning.

at your bath Norty.

life's shite when you envy someone having a bath isn't it?

LittleMissNorty · 14/07/2008 10:56

Knew you wouldn't last

Well done to DD! Clever girl!

At what point do you say your DCs are walking? K now crawls and walks in equal measures depending on how quickly she needs to get somewhere (open gate / door / cat/ dog etc).

LackaDAISYcal · 14/07/2008 10:58

same here with DD norty. Crawling is her favourite and quickest method, but she is walking more and more now, and can get from the living room to the kitchen on her feet. I say that's walking. Not going to get hard soled shoes for a few more weeks though

Sputnik · 14/07/2008 11:01

Daisy, what are you doing here!

LittleMissNorty · 14/07/2008 11:02

we haven't got any shoes yet as I think they need to feel what they are doing IYKWIM....as soon as she's walking proper, I'll get her some though. She screamed about being put back in the buggy at the park yesterday.....that's a first....so she's obviously realising there's a big wide world out there....

LackaDAISYcal · 14/07/2008 11:03

lalala, I'm not listening

LittleMissNorty · 14/07/2008 11:04

well that bans lasted all of.......12 hours???

LackaDAISYcal · 14/07/2008 11:14

that's the problem with self imposed bans......no-one to enforce tham

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 14/07/2008 12:04

Daisy - Get thee gone woman!!!!

I'm having a little lurk in my lunch break. Glad to see baby Daisy is doing well, clever girl. Am lost as to what crazybones tubs are though.

OK, stuff to sort out, then back to work shortly as I want to go home early today.

LackaDAISYcal · 14/07/2008 12:19

crazybones. Little plastic creatures; 80 to collect in five different colours, plus rare specials....so over 400 to collect really. You can get a little tub to store them in and Dd loves putting them in and out of the tub, but DS wont let her have his...so she now has her own!

Keep up

Have sold two more nappies and someone is watching my big pram

justRia · 14/07/2008 13:46

I have 2 items with bids and watchers on all but one of my items, and DH has agreed to buy me some more crocs. fingers crossed for lots of sales (they will be around £2 each I expect, but it will be cash not clutter).

Just been to tesco (again), can't be bothered to do any housework. Will have to go and support the PTFA soon anyway.

LackaDAISYcal · 14/07/2008 14:05

lol DD had not managed to get her head into one of the legs of DSs PJ trousers....and is crawling around wearing it like a snood (that was for the older members of the thread..remember Nic Kershaw!)

justRia · 14/07/2008 14:18

I know what a snood is. What a clever girl. baggins takes his sock off then sticks his foot out to have it put back on.

DS2 has just gone to get changed by himself, and has come down in one of his smartest shirts and trousers, not shorts and t-shirt as I'd planned. He doesn't seem to do casual.

Bumperlicious · 14/07/2008 18:09

Hello all

Not really caught up, just skimmed. Ria, sorry your Dsis is being a pain. Bloody families!

Well done for the clever babies, dressing themselves, walking, bumshuffling.

Hope you are all ok.

POP thanks for your reply to my thread.

am I the only one who didn't know about fatfingers.com

its a website which trawls ebay for typos. its fab. Saw a Wii fit bundle go for £250 yesterday - I was too about the seller to go for it, and chickened out as no-one else was bidding. am kicking myself today though!

LackaDAISYcal · 14/07/2008 20:19

bumper...what's your other thread about?

PoP..she is far too clever for her own good.

I usually just try different variations on the spelling foxy, but thanks for the heads up . you should have gone for the wii foxy, it was probably the spelling that meant people missed it!

I've had the evening from hell here. DS only ate four cherry tomatoes for his lunch today so was a bit tetchy after school. He had a sarnie, under duress, but then when it came to tea, he wouldn't eat anything. Or to be more precise he picked at the food like it was fecking poisoned; firstly saying the sauages were burnt (they were browned as they should be), then picking at one bean at a time and then finally after being threatened with an early bed, started eating, but taking tiny nibbles and then complaining about the bits in the suasages. I lost it and sent him to bed, and then he has come downstairs 6 times since then. He did this ages ago with food, complaining and then after half an hour finally eating it, but I've bloody had enough of it. I go out of my bloody way to either cook him what he wants (like tonight) or make nice interesting things which he then refuses to fecking eat for ages before saying "mmm this is really good this is!"....aaaaaarrrrrrggggggghhhhh sorry for the rant!

tomorrow he has been warned that if he doesn't eat his lunch he is going straight to bed when we get home.

listed my 2nd ebay item tonight...I'll be a pro in no time!

justRia · 14/07/2008 20:30

Hi guys. Great day here. The school fayre was a bit rubbish, but DH won a bottle of wine on the raffle, DS2 won a mug, and we bought some unneccessary crap that no-one else wanted! DH did a roaring trade in hotdogs.

We have been to the beach to play cricket. We went paddling too - baggins loved it We are all worn out now.

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 14/07/2008 20:35

Am of trip to beach Ria. We had half an hour on the beach on Saturday and I'd forgotten how good it is to be by the sea. Not sure what jamlet made of the sea. We didn't have much time and the weather wasn't too good so we kept her in her push chair. I wish we'd been able to let her out onto the sand. Apparently i hated the sand as a baby. They always had to take a blanket for me to sit on. But it made it easy to look after me as I would never crawl over the edge of the blanket so everyone always knew where i was.
