like the name mhc

I'm sure it'll make a comeback.

lackaDAISYcal · 11/07/2008 21:35

that's for a box of 30 packets so not that bad...

it's the red ones around here and they are a quid for a packet with three gogos and three stickers in it.....cheaper than a comic or magazine, and keeps him very quiet.

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 11/07/2008 21:37

Oooo odd squad! My brother had something similar when he was at school. Little plastic alien things. There's nothing like plastic crap to keep small boys occupied!

Love the name MHC!

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 11/07/2008 21:39

Magazines are farking rip offs! Dd likes to get a Cbeebies or Peppa Pig mag whenever we go to the shop, but they are £2-3 a go! I have started to buy her a book or a toy instead because the mags just end up getting torn by ds and spread all over the house and I am sick of all the shitty "free" gifts!

do you think we'll win?

lackaDAISYcal · 11/07/2008 21:49

oops, that didn't work. Click on the competition and scroll down a couple of clicks for a pic of DS and DD giggling at each other.

some of the babies on there clearly look like they are crying imo!

justRia · 11/07/2008 22:05

Hi guys, busy day here. HI there She-Ra my fave we used to play She-Ra snd He-Man in the playground (by the power of greyskull...)

Has pissed it down all day. DS2 was on his trip til lunch, then after a picnic in a tent they gave up the ghost and brought them back to school (via a drive along the front to look at the sea) to play in the classroom. He wasn't bothered. He fell off the picnic table into some mmud and went upstairs on the double decker bus.

We went shopping (I slipped twice on wet floors in shops and nearly fell on my arse), then went to DS1s play again (we had a whole row of seats as dsis and the GPs went too)

Then opticians to choose DS1s new specs and sunglasses (I won!!!)

And then I offered to take DS1&2 and DN&N to the school disco, (£2 each to listen to the yr5 teachers CD collection on the stereo, and spend more money on sugary additive-filled stuff) and so ened up staying to help.

Am glad to be home and have borrowed "The CHocolate Lovers Club" from Dsis.

Like the new name Princessofpower. Princess? Or Pop?

Thanks Daisy I have ordered a box of Crazy bones . I figure with 3 of them collecting them, £20 is a bargain for 30 packs. And you can't get them around here. I really, really hope that doesn't mean the craze is over and I'm lumbered with a box of the bleedin' things!

Bad mummy - everyone got up far too early and the boys were playing football in the living room, flouting the 'no football before 9am on the weekend as we have neighbours above us' rule. I shouted at them before wishing LO a Happy Birthday (I forgot, but in my defence it was excrutiatingly early).

I will be getting the drill out and putting the blackout blind back up today. These 5 O'clock starts are beginning to take their toll.

My job for today is to download all my video and pictures onto DVD. No idea how.

Right, football, shops, lunch, pyjama party for LO, bed zzzzzzzZZZZZZZZZ.

annobal · 12/07/2008 09:29

Happy birthday to dd2 foxy and ldkma. Hope you both have fab days.

Good to 'see' you foxy - have emailed you...

I'm feeding ds3 then off to dsis to watch the jane austen book club. Will report back to those who haven't seen it and are interested...

annobal · 12/07/2008 09:31

like the new name princess

5 o'clock! ick

LittleMissNorty · 12/07/2008 09:37

Happy Birthday to DD2 Foxy....have a great day

LackaDAISYcal · 12/07/2008 09:41

Happy Birthday foxcub

you are living a parrallel life with mine foxy! also plagued with ridiculously late "I caaaaaaan't sleep, it's too light" nights and ridiculously early "I can't go back to sleep, it's too light" mornings. I nned to order some of those velcro to the window surround blinds...that'll teach the little sod darling.

crazybones craze is still defnately alive and kicking. You can't get them because the suppliers can't keep up with the demand for them. It was on the local news here and on Newsround the other noght as well. Might order a box while I still can and then meter them out carefully!

LackaDAISYcal · 12/07/2008 09:49

fecking cat's water all over the fecking floor (and DDs trousers) again . DH is in Argos picking up the gate as I type thank goodness.

Thirteen months is too young for the naughty step, isn't it?

weighed myself this morning.....still not put on any more weight so nearly a stone lighter than the start of the pregnancy. Tell me this is a GOOD THING please!

and my missing nappies arrived!!! well the replacement set anyway. A moral dilemma will exist if the original package ever turns up!

FrazzledFairyFay · 12/07/2008 10:17

Good morning everyone, just popping in briefly. The DCs and I are spending a week at my parents' as my DSis is over from Oz for 10 days. Have been intermittently lurking but can't keep up with everything so I hope I ahven't missed anything major.

Happy birthday to the lo's I've missed.

Great sympathy and empathy to those having a hard time with their lo's - I too have been ready to throttle the little darlings several times this week. DS is being horrendously clingy and I seem to be spending most of the time with him attached to my leg! DD is also at that questioning age why? why? why? AGHHHHHHHH

Anyway, hope everyone's ok. Back sometime next week.

justRia · 12/07/2008 10:25

Have a good time FFF.

We're off to the forestry for walking, ball games and picnic later. All housework onhold, but if it's another 8 years before I get to see dsis again so what!

Have just applied (on-line application too, never done one of those before) for a job for DH in a redevelopment of a really nice hotel about 20 mins away. keep it all crossed for him.

Must go and finish the christening invites and do the school laundry.

We don't have that toy craze here I don't think.

justbeme · 12/07/2008 16:42

Hope you're all having good weekends.
Have ordered a pressie for Lo from Tesco in their sale.
the large cow - bargain at £30 and I figured she'd "grow into it".
plus this

LackaDAISYcal · 12/07/2008 17:18

ooooh, I've got a £10 evoucher from tesco. Thanks for the heads up jbm

bugger can't use the evoucher on tesco direct!

Good bargains. DD has got a tomliboos ride on very similar to that one - and it sends us MAD...bloody noise...she loves it though
