My SIL ate a raw scotch bonnet chilli and burnt the inside of her mouth really badly. Bird's eye are hot but not as hot as that. I think it only burnt cos he is a delicate little thing.

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 09/07/2008 22:12

I might give them a go daisy. Branston beans are horrible! I might try and buy Daddies ketchup (if they still make it) I remember it being quite nice. Though the last time I had it was about 1989!

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 09/07/2008 22:14

Fuck off sputnik, I hate you!! !

My poor ds got a paddling pool for his birthday and we haven't even got it out of the box yet! Dd asks me every day if they can play in it .

lackaDAISYcal · 09/07/2008 22:15

leaky pools are infinately better than no pools, imvho.

I'm going to have to go out and look for the bloody cat.....it's pissing down....heavily.

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 09/07/2008 22:18

I'm sure my ds would have a go at trashing your house. He likes to pull books off shelves and throw them in the bath or on the floor, he's not fussy, he also enjoys emptying kitchen cupboards and smashing glasses on the kitchen floor! Oh and spreading yoghurt all over the tv and putting random objects into the video or DVD player. He had broken one DVD player, one video player and one of the disc drives on the pc so far!

I was planning on just running away to come and visit you on my own though sputnik! I wasn't going to bring the dcs !!

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 09/07/2008 22:21

I have many pools in my garden atm! The patio is just one big pool! I had to wear dp's parka when I took dd to preschool earlier. I felt like a right knob, but I don't have any sort of wet weather gear. I also wore ballet pumps as all my boots have heels and it is quite far to walk in heels. I really need to invest in a waterproof coat and some wellies!

lackaDAISYcal · 09/07/2008 22:22

DD poured a packet of turmeric over her teddy tonight (damn that fecking spice drawer).....he now has a rather fetching yellow streak up the back of one arm. I turned eight baby wipes an alarming shade of yellow wiping it off.

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 09/07/2008 22:24

Oh dear daisy! Poor teddy! At least she didn't eat it, imagine what that would have done to your nappies!

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 09/07/2008 22:27

Oi bumper, come and say hello! I have just seen you on another thread... you can't hide from me !

lackaDAISYcal · 09/07/2008 22:27

PMSL....it would've turned then an interesting shade of unbleachable yellow I think holly.

Sputnik · 09/07/2008 22:29

Bit of a spicy day for you then all in all.
We have been house hunting. I love poking my nose round other people's houses.

lackaDAISYcal · 09/07/2008 22:32

I've found the cat.....she was under my car and is hardly wet so I assume she has been there all along and was possibly asleep when I've called on her before.

silly cat

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 09/07/2008 22:32

Are you thinking of moving then sputnik or just being nosey?

I am sat in the dining room trying to type in the dark with ds attached to nork. This is not easy, so I'm going to bed!!

'Night xx

lackaDAISYcal · 09/07/2008 22:32

i didn't think anyone was particularly rude...apart from moondog but I assumed that was directed at heinz and not me

will need to read again. Maybe my MN skin is sooo thick now insults just bounce off!!

Sputnik · 09/07/2008 22:37

Happy for Daisy.
DH can't face his commute any longer but we can't bear to sell our house so we are looking for a small place on the outskirts of Rome, then we'd come back here for weekends and in the summer when traffic isn't so bad and Rome is too hot.
I am also nosey!

Bumperlicious · 09/07/2008 22:37

Hello

I've been out most of the evening but just checking in before bed. Been to a lovely friend's with DD who just told me she is pg! V excited!

Did the C&G thread get pulled?

I'm going to a creative writing taster session tomorrow at the local Neighbourhood Project and DD is going into the creche for the 1st time - eek! Never left her with strangers before Only 2 hours though (and £1!).

Sputnik · 09/07/2008 22:41

Confused. If you are a peer supporter what are you doing using formula?

Think this is what MHC was talking about daisy.

Bumperlicious · 09/07/2008 22:49

Off to bed, night all
