Great photos Looks like you had a good time.

What was the present Dippy? I'm intrigued!

Hope T not so grumpy now SPB. I keep thinking Izzy is going to stop BF but then she starts demanding more!

Hi Oooggs I don't blame you not going out. You need as much rest as you can. I remember those early days. Hot tub is wonderful, Jake and Izzy love being in it.
DH and I love it too

Hope everyone is ok. xx

AngeG · 13/07/2008 18:17

I agree with you Dippy. Izzy is still a baby too. Although she weighs enough to still be a baby as well!! Hope you had a great birthday xx

Doobydoo · 13/07/2008 18:20

Soz aint caught up yet.But want to ask you Ange while you are here.Do you still get SPD?

AngeG · 13/07/2008 18:27

Hi Dooby. Yes sometimes. I still have to be careful not to overdo things. I'm thinking of starting some gentle form of exercise to build up my core stability. I think my stomach muscles are shot and they don't support what they should do Does that make sense? I see from your posts you are still suffering. Have you found anything that helps?

Sexonlegs · 13/07/2008 18:30

Pilates is supposed to be good for core strength.

Lovely pics POTC.

SPB, hope you are feeling perkier.

AngeG · 13/07/2008 18:32

Hi SOL. Yes I'd heard that Pilates was good. I'm a bit of a wimp though and won't do classes like that on my own need to find someone to come with me!

How are you?

Octothechildherder · 13/07/2008 18:49

Helloooooooooooooooooooooo

It rained all week in cornwall - a few nice afternoons and lots of surfing I CAN STAND UP NOW but Stan is better!

PillockOfTheCommunity · 13/07/2008 19:30

welcome back octo
don't think there's any news since you went away?

I have finally started on the big clear out of my house. Skott has aquired a caravan which he has parked on my front lawn. I've taken the opportunity to fill it with all the stuff that needs to go to charity/freecycle/tip and start getting some space back!

oooggs · 13/07/2008 19:57

octo - was thinking of you today - yes still on for 28th

Doobydoo · 13/07/2008 20:02

Lovely pics POTC[smole]
Dippy meant to say how sweet of P saying boo and helping lift her legs when being changed.
Sorry to hear that Ange.No I haven't found anytjing that helps. Some months better than others.May try Pilates if there are any classes round here.It will have to be when dp is made redundant which may be soon[eek]Then he will be home at the time I need to go as can't arrange to do owt as his hours are erratic.
Hope you ok SPB AND the pregnant ones amongst us!
Hi to everyone have a good eve all.Off to scrub M's highchair[woohoo]

Evening

Hi Octo, good to see you.

Ange, I am fine thank you and thanks for the text yesterday

The photos are so lovely POTC; I cannot believe how grown up the lo's are all looking. D looks rather tasty !

Caz, hope Dancer is ok poor love. I know how she feels!
Not sure what to say about the school. What are the OFSTED reports like?

Had a good day today. Been to a friends BBQ. She has her birthday the day before me, but we are the same age. Really good to see people we hadn't seen for a while, and the sun shined - hurrah!

Right, need to eat dinner and then get on with ironing - yawn. Dh has been sat on his arse while I have done Tesco on-line, and ccoked dinner. I don't expect he will offer to do any of the ironing . Grrrrrrrrrrr!

CaptainDippy · 13/07/2008 20:39

Whoooooo - good to "see" Octo!

DH & I just been looking at fun stuff we can purchase for the garden online .... we are a little disturbed at what we found on one website though.... have a look at this sandpit ...... take a look at the pic at the bottom of the page showing the sandpit with it's cover on ....

Don't you need to remove the child before putting the cover on!!!!?

elkiedee · 13/07/2008 20:51

Oops at the sandpit pics Dippy!

Good news on the narcolepsy easing up, potc, and glad you all seemed to have such a good time on Dippy's birthday.

oooggs · 13/07/2008 20:53

elkie - when are you due? I am currently due on 30/1 but have my 12 week scan on friday - I am huge already (yes I know my tummy muscles are shot through after dts)

cazboldy · 13/07/2008 21:00

lol Dippy - you would think so wouldn't you......... .......but don't change the subject, What was your pressie????

Dippy - sorry if I am being thick, but made rdeundant? have you said about this before? Are you Ok with it? He hasn't been there long has he?

Lovely pics POTC

SOL - The ofsted is here www.ofsted.gov.uk/portal/site/Internet/menuitem.7c7b38b14d870c7bb1890a01637046a0/?event=getReport&ur n=1

What do you think?

StealthPolarBear · 13/07/2008 21:00

PMSL at that sandpit
Well, T still awake - have given him to daddy to apply sme magic

elkiedee · 13/07/2008 21:02

My revised due date is currently 26/1 and I have a 12 week scan on Tuesday, as the first one booked by LMP date turned out to be too early (thought I was 11 + 2 and due on 13th, scan suggested 9 + 4). 12 weeks tomorrow. I woke at 5 am this morning dreaming that I was bleeding. But my body's still behaving very much like I'm pregnant, not fun but reassuring.

cazboldy · 13/07/2008 21:03

sorry Dooby

StealthPolarBear · 13/07/2008 21:05

You sound stressed elkie

cazboldy · 13/07/2008 21:05

Ignore that link - it's not the right one...

Anyway it's above average in some areas, below in some - nothing fantastic, but nothing terrible either......

cazboldy · 13/07/2008 21:06

Have rung about a playgroup for charlie. We are going to a picnic there on Weds. It's called Little Tractors playgroup

Horrible dream Elkie

elkiedee · 13/07/2008 21:11

D's still awake too - he went to sleep quite early but then woke up very distressed as if he'd had some sort of nightmare, and got to be wide awake again. DP has taken him out but is getting exasperated.

Thanks Dooby, is it that obvious? I feel guilty because I'm finding it hard to help at times with D, though dp never likes me taking him out in the buggy at this time of evening (we live in an area which is quite inner city in character if not location). And when dp gets cross and fed up, he starts having a go at me.

StealthPolarBear · 13/07/2008 21:15

Wish I could suggest something...but keep doing what you're doing and look after yourself!
I bet you wish D could understand that he's going to have a brother or sister, he'd be so excited!

Sexonlegs · 13/07/2008 22:14

No posts for an hour???

Caz, do you know anyone with dc's at the school that can give you some feedback?

Elkie, have you tried cc with D? I know it is not for all; I just worry for you that D is going to keep expecting this level of attention and when number 2 comes along it is just not going to be able to happen.
Sorry if I sound harsh, but I think sometimes lo's need to learn otherwise you will be running around like a headless chicken. Awful dream btw

Well, as expected dh didn't offer to do any ironing and I have just spent an hour and a half doing it. Hey ho.

Right, off to bed shortly, so see you lovelies in the morning. x
