The thread title is for the January babies who have become/are soon to be big brothers and sisters

Can't remember all from last thread except
Wilie congrats on the move and hope visit to vino goes broodily well
eandh - potty?!! Aleady?!! I'm only just getting there with ds1!!
DH - I went to a wedding on due date with ds1, but that was because I wanted him out. Alas, despite energetic ceilidhing, to no avail! Also went to Halifax for a wedding when about 38 weeks with ds2 (on Loosh's ds's bday in fact!), was a little nervous in case I went into labour so far from home, but didn't exactly expect to go early (just as well, eh?). But I guess is different if you're going for a c/s

Hah - She is FAB isn't she!
I've been googling her this evening though (how sad am I?!?!!) She is now divorced from her strange looking husband, and she has been dating half of Jackass and all kinds of stories are circulating about her.

You could change your name to tatooedladytophamhatt!

Who would you choose if you had to?
Chris Garver
Chris Nunez
Ami James
Yoji
or Darren Brass

I think I would have to say an amalgamation of the first 3 would make the perfect man.

But, how much do I want to be Kat Von D!

Enough.
I have said too much.

Am too skint to get another tattoo.

I've not made my cake
or done any cleaning.
I am a bad housewife, and now I'm going to bed!

Lizzzombie · 10/07/2008 22:06

In case you were wondering, this is the look which LTH is currently working around Eastbourne!

Lizzzombie · 10/07/2008 22:11

Ami James
Chris Nunez
Chris Garver
Kat von d - I sooooooooo want to be her!

There is a London Ink programme too....(shall we go up there and get one?!)

When is LA Ink on? I know it exists, but have never seen it.

My DP won't let me do a tattoo on him, which I think is quite unreasonable as I am fairly artistic!

  • LTH - Does your DH have any?
Lizzzombie · 10/07/2008 22:25

Rgee - nice sandpit.
I wonder if I could grow potatoes in it???

Wilkiepedia · 10/07/2008 22:29

Have no idea what you are talking about but Nunez and James tres tres yummy! Choices, choices - might have to be a spit roast

Argh - the house stressing me out. Am trying to find a reasonably priced kitchen. Have seen one in B&Q I like but I need to go in and see the designer there and at MFI but I can't do it with J in tow and no one to have him!!!!!!!

I was meant to start job on Mon but has been a hold up with HR so I now don't start til beginning of Aug which is irritating as I was ready to get started. I am fed up of working in the shope. IT'S SO DULL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lizzzombie · 10/07/2008 22:36

D-Max - channel 144/45/155 on sky.
7pm everynight (or 8pm on +1 or 9pm on +2)
repeated the following day at 2pm (or 3 or 4pm depending on which + channel)
Miami Ink
Its fabulous.

Bummer about your job hold up.
Was just looking at BBQ's on the homebase website. Just get one of those instead, until you decide on which kitchen to go for!

Lizzzombie · 10/07/2008 22:37

ps - spit roasting - you do lower the tone mrswikepedia!!!

Wilkiepedia · 10/07/2008 22:39

I do try....

Have you seen the mothercare thread. PMSL P.M.S.L. Was it you??

Wilkiepedia · 10/07/2008 22:40

here

Lizzzombie · 10/07/2008 22:53

ROFL - Hah!!!!!!
Very amusing.

Thats what happens when you employ 17 year olds and pay them awful wages.
A FT 17 year old supervisor gets less than an 18+ year old who has just started. Its daft. They are on about £4.50 or something!

I don't understand why more Mums don't get jobs at mothercare, its a really useful discount, but, you have to work with 17 year olds who are extremely workshy so it makes you a little bit angry.

eandh · 11/07/2008 07:01

oooo I love miami ink/la ink I tend to watch it on sunday think its 9pm, Ami is luuurvely (although slightly 'stressed' on the show)I didnt know there was London ink will keep an eye out for that

Wilkie - we got our kitchen form B&Q its fab (ordered it when I was 35 weeks pg with E and forced my Dad to fit it all before I had to go for my csection with her ) although we still havent replaced tiles/worktops )

Am going to work topday but since both the girls woke at 5.30 we are ready and dont need to leave till 7.30

2Happy · 11/07/2008 08:52

Oh good grief.

Can someone please come and take the two incredibly foul-tempered wee shites off my hands please? Pretty please??

It's going to be a looooooooooooooong day.........

Oh, and er

MrsC/guadaleoupe - nice to see you, glad you're recovering well. I think I could quite easily reach a size 16 without a hysterectomy . Recently taken up staggering running, it's not going well!!
Wilkie - sorry to hear of the hold up, sure August will be here before you know it
PMSL at the mothercare thread. I have to say, the assistants at mothercareworld in Kingston Park have always been fine IME, it's the 14 year olds they employ in Clarks that do my head in!

MrsC - nice to see you back and hear that you are recovering well!!

2H - must be the day for it. J has a little shit terror this morning with tantrums because I wouldn't let him play with my, very hot, straighteners. Maybe I should've - would have taught him [evil mother emoticon]

EAH - good to hear that your kitchen is good - people keep warning me off B&Q kitchens. We are just gonna buy the cabinets from there, I have bought everything else separately off the internet i.e. taps, sink, handles, hob etc and saved over £500!!!!!! If you can be bothered it is SO worth it.

Reggiee · 11/07/2008 13:18

Definitely the day for it.
It's pissing it down and my ear drums are shot. Anyone else hear her? I've come on here for respite.

2Happy · 11/07/2008 14:15

I dunno, LTH, ds1 sadly appears to be learning to lie (I think he's getting it from CM's foster daughter who is a very troubled wee girl ...he couldn't just be reaching the age where children naturally learn to lie, oh no). Honetly, today I caught him shovelling a wooden toy into ds2's mouth, then when I shrieked "what are you doing?!" he said "ds2's bitten the toy". No he fecking hasn't, you hooligan, you've rammed it into his gob! Still, on the bright side, he has finally craked pooing into the potty. He still doesn't seem to have a great idea of when he needs a wee; but can someone tell me how changing pooey nappies is no problem, but emptying poop from potty into toilet makes me boak every time.
ds2 is just going through a horrifically shrieky clingy phase. You just can't put him down. Even dh said yesterday morning, "agh, ds2, I can't carry you everywhere, I can't get anything done!". No, indeed dear, that'll be why the washing up's piled on the side because I can't get bloody near it.
And there's no diagnosis murder on!!

dh bought a wii this week. I disapproved completely, he's such a gadget freak, then gets bored in 5 minutes flat... but then I started playing it. It's great. I even got my Mum into the tennis yestrday. Actually she was scary.

I'm bored...can you tell?!

eandh · 11/07/2008 14:22

2happy - at emptying potty I used heave every time as well (although H will wee on potty refuses to poo on there)!!

Ellie cannot lie to save her life, she tries to and then gets completley muddled up and gets caught out (just like dh!)

I am so bored again rushed through my work thois morning and now got crap bits left to do.

I did however go and get myself KFC for lunch which was quite tasty (and flicked through this weeks copy of OK!)

2Happy · 11/07/2008 14:29

Am so at you starting to get H to use a potty when I am only just getting ds1 sorted!! I am sincerely hoping ds2 will do it faster because he wants to be like big brother...

eandh · 11/07/2008 14:33

LOL its a pain in the bum because she refuses to wear a nappy and strips herself off (she is a nudist at heart), the only time I can get her to keep a nappy on is if we are going out and she is distracted (oh and I have to clean wee up alot if she is engrossed in something or ellie scares her or makes her laugh to much!!

eandh · 11/07/2008 14:35

but she is obsessed with her upsy daisy knickers and never wets that particular pair

Ellie most upset that Hattie has 7 pairs of disney princess knickers (were £1 in M&S sale) and that Hattie wont wear them but they dont fit her (they are size 18-24months)
