The thread title is for the January babies who have become/are soon to be big brothers and sisters

Can't remember all from last thread except
Wilie congrats on the move and hope visit to vino goes broodily well
eandh - potty?!! Aleady?!! I'm only just getting there with ds1!!
DH - I went to a wedding on due date with ds1, but that was because I wanted him out. Alas, despite energetic ceilidhing, to no avail! Also went to Halifax for a wedding when about 38 weeks with ds2 (on Loosh's ds's bday in fact!), was a little nervous in case I went into labour so far from home, but didn't exactly expect to go early (just as well, eh?). But I guess is different if you're going for a c/s

about the meet up at my wedding. really should start saving/looking at venues for reception !!!

ud - loving the 'just stepped out of a salon' look. Tres nice!

We've been to Hastings this morning. The flipping shops in the Old Town part were all closed which was really annoying. So we went to the main bit and I got a bargainous necklace from Top Shop reduced from £18 to £2. Have wanted one for ages so brought 2!

Lizz - can imagine you as a bride in a dress like that. Perfect to wear again too!

Rgee - I want to stay in the turret too! My thoughts kept flipping to decanters of gin today......

Got my tidyinng and hoovering done today but not cleaning of toilets. A job for tomorrow.

Sylvie put on another 8 oz this week so all good. Bumped into a friend at baby clinic so went there after i picked E up from nursery. She had 'been a monkey all day' apparently, smacking and snatching. Oh dear.

totally gorgeous. In fact, I would wear that as my actual wedding dress....a year to go from 29th August!!!! (could get comfy lesbo shoes in cream to match it!)

laughalots dress, am loving it and thinking cream wrap and cream shoes will look fab!!

Preschool picnic had to be cancelled as it peed down so Eddas came round except her dd and Ellie decided to argue all afternoon and then trash the house (latter is normal!) Ellie refuse to help clear up so lost her after bath treat.

I am so over the school holidays 4 weeks and 5 days and they restart!

Got the new car seats today £249 so need to send receipt to insurance to get money back plus had the estimate done and damage is over £800 so waiting for garage to ring to book it in and sort a suitable hire car (they tried to give me a Ford Ka!!)

Oh my word the kids are driving me mad I know we moan when its hot but at least they can play outside. I must make the effort tomorrow raining or not to drag them out to soft play I now realise not passing my driving test was a big big mistake. Work rung me today to offer me a fab works trip a all expenses paid cruise with p&o sailing from southampton and flying back to gatwick. Would have been a doddle of a trip usually when you do a land one there are a million hotels you get dragged round and a million reports to do. With a cruise there is only so much you can see and usually the mega expensive cabins are full so you cant have a tour round them which means less work, however I cant go no childcare for a week and I suppose I would enjoy miss not seeing them.

I have decided on a dress for my bros wedding I will get eah to do the link because I am totally crap at that. Please be honest if you like it or not .

Lizz glad your lesbo shoes are comfy £ 60.00 though .

Vino glad you are ok today at not too burnt how was e day at nursery ?

Eah have you tided up the playroom yet ?

Ud sounds like a fab trip you are going on my dear. I went to amsterdam once with work from hull to rotterdam on the overnight ferry... in october the crossing was um bumpy.

Rgee your break sounded fab I must admit I cannot wait to go to ireland in nov for my birthday think im more excited that im eating in a gordon ramsey resturant though .

Wilks did you get the mendhi done ?

Ok bet iv missed loads of peeps sorry but bathtime is calling

I've been to the beach today!!!! I was very excited, bought spades and buckets to build castles that Ellen loved knocking down. The sea was a bit cold for paddling though. Ours was short and sweet! Didn't put cream on me or E though so I have a pink face and arms, E was looking a bit 'coloured' so I bathed her and put long pjs on her so Dh couldn't see, hoping it will have faded by the morning. Oops. S slept all the time so was a dream. The park and ride in scarborough is sooo cheap, just 80p per adult return.

Wilkie - tattoolooks good

E&H - you are organised. i have always wanted to go to anne franks house too.

UD - hope the trip is a good one.

We are in the middle of trying to plan what we'll dow hen dh is off work at end sept. We are trying to keep it cheap.

Am back. Had a FAB weekend. DH & I away for a couple of days at the poshest hotel in the world (not officially...). Highlights included our bedroom having decanters of gin and whisky, ditto in our lounge; private use of the spa for an hour; our 'suite' was over three floors with one floor just the bathroom (robes, sink each, huge bath with rain shower in the middle, Jo Malone and Molton Brown stuff); evening meal having unexpected courses "your pre-starter madam" "your pre-dessert" pmsl.

Nothing else to report. How's everything here?

Dragon - not long now!! How exciting!!

Eah - glad all were ok after the car accident. Pmsl at three spreadsheets

Hi Vino. Not really got too much to say these days so I do lots of lurking. Glad your survived the pil!

Wilkie hope you had a nice day today. Did you end up doing anything?

I'm now at the age where I have to stop and think how old I am! My 30s have definitely been great though. Am with Lizz and totally agree with what she said. You are all worrying about approaching 30 - I am closer to 40 . Where's Kat when I need her for age comparisons . Seriously though, there is truth in a lot more confident and relaxed with life.

PCF hope you all have a great day tomorrow.

UD not too long til your hols. I always enjoy the looking forward to holiday bit!

Right, am off to clean out our fridge - think I spied some mould in the yoghurt and should get it cleaned before Tesco shopping arrives.
