We had
special chicken tikka and onion bahjees to start with lots of salad and naan bread (but none for me )
then there was
two chicken dishes, one hot, one mild
a lamb and spinach dish (can't remember the names but they are all bangladeshi specialities....tis a great wee curry house)
vegetable korma.....and I certainly never saw a mushroom
aloo chat (potatoes amd chick pea) that was reallly spicy, but lovely
lots of pilau rice and as much naan as you could eat
then DH and I had mixed sorbets and DS had a chocolate sundae type thing that the waiter put candles in and he even sang happy birthday with us
DD had loads of naan, rice, veg korma and some tomatoes and cucumber then most of DHs sorbet and the dregs of DSs sundae. she was a wee star.
The waiters are always amazed that the DCs eat the curries as most english kids they get in opt for nuggets and chips
