Fine thanks Dippy, just needed a kick up the bum to get off MN and do some housework. I spend my day off lazing around because I don't get any other chance to do it (weel except weekends ) and then feel stressed cos I've done nothing but MN and eat all day. Just need to get out of the habit.

I feel sad....last year my cousins dp[now wife]was diagnosed with colon cancer.It has spread and I don't think it is looking good.She is 33!
She went back and forth to docs for a year then finally paid for prvate tests and it was diagnosed.Feel so .

I was so happy and excited earlier this week. I don't know what to do. M (dp doesn't seem very appropriate at the moment) has just been so nasty to me over the last 48 hours. And I can't bring up one child in with someone who thinks nothing of shouting at me over absolutely nothing, or even something, calling me a bitch, and making loads of stupid threads and remarks, in front of said child. He can't seem to go half an hour from trying to make up one argument to shouting at me again.

I just don't know what to do or say any more and I want to hold things together for Danny (and do my best for new baby so long as nothing goes wrong with the actual pregnancy - it's so early yet I'm scared anyway).

Elkie, that sounds awful. Would he listen if you said you need to sit down and talk things over? Not fair on you to be constantly got at all the time Hope you are ok xxx

I am ok, bouts of pain last night and night before which is disturbing my sleep. Taking lots of painkillers unfortunately, and I just feel so tired. Hoping that a date will come soon. Have now got to the point where I want it all sorted and I can move on.

Oh dear - lots of sad posts So sad about your cousin's DW Dooby My mum has had colon and rectal cancer and she's still here, countless ops later, so there is hope What treament is she undergoing? So hard for them. My mum had me after treatment too

Oh Elkie Sounds like your DP is not dealing very well with life atm. Is it lack of sleep? Dealing with juggling DP, small child, job, home etc? This is not fiar on you and he needs to know that. Can you get away with Danny for a short while anywhere? xx
