We did stuff at home today then went to meet my dad in Finsbury Park this afternoon. Good fun but I suddenly felt too tired to walk home and dp didn't fancy the bus. So they're walking back through the park and the side streets that are our normal route there and back, and I'm back here on my own, missing D a little actually.

Sympathies to those with pita dh at the moment. After I've ranted at dh (for any given reason) I justify it to him by telling him if I didn't care, I wouldn't rant
Dh is being rather well behaved atm (is making me a cuppa as I type)

Caz - We've had to buy a new washing machine today. Ours has been on its last legs for the past year, and even though dh can repair it, there's only so much it will take Dh had a sensible moment and said we should get a new one before this one actually conks out.

Elkie - hope you get everything sorted out with paypal

MJ - I'm feeling the need for a large cappucino and cake too x The holiday will be just what you need.

Oooggs - totally agree with you about things not changing. One of the best bits about hols was dh realising just how full on children are.

our television has just gone pop! We had some warning that it was going and have had a look for what we want but it's still jolly annoying - don't know when we'll have time to get a new one. Aaaargh - no tv Dh v unsympathetic! Need to plough on with the interview prep - things must be bad - I'm listening to Abba!

anyway I have had this one for about 2 and a half years, and when I rang them and told them it was playing up, they said I can either get it fixed, or have a new one!

Dooby, do hope you get on well with the hips and the journey. Is it a clicky hip thing? There was a little girl at our toddler group who wasn't diagnosed with that until well after first birthday. She spent some time in plaster with a bar keeping her legs in position, wasn't ideal but seemed not to trouble her at all. It achieved excellent results and she is totally fine now.

Not ridiculous at all CD, and not selfish either! It's a terrible way to feel, but difficult to pull yourself out of.
What is your GP like? Sometimes it helps to just get things off your chest to an impartial ear too iykwim. Hope you manage to get an appointment tomorrow, look after yourself in the meantime xxx
