ds1 has got an invitation from the school we were refused admission to, for a "gifted and talented" maths and science day in the half term [proud mummy]

do I a) let them see what they are missing?

b) tell them to shove it? (maybe more politely than that, but you get my drift )

only 3 children in his school have an invite!

Maybe ring them and ask if they are doing this with a view to changing their minds

Quick random Q - do any of you used brown mascara?? I have got one of those Rimmel XXL ones with the white stuff on one end and the mascara the other. It is brand new, but I use black. Anyone interested??

Whether or not you accept the invite on his behalf, I think it would be worth commenting on the disappointment about not getting a school place with his friends from his current school etc etc.
