Sorry to hear that Dippy, and you're the least selfish person I know. Hope your GP's good on stuff like this.

At work and struggling with tiredness.

mammyjo · 02/06/2008 13:08

StealthPolarBear · 02/06/2008 16:41

is it an anniversary or ocassion? Sorry if I have missed something

StealthPolarBear · 02/06/2008 16:42

elkie - have you thought about names yet? (Any you're prepared to share with us)

Eddas · 02/06/2008 16:49

no ocassion spb, and if there was i wouldn't expect you to know bless 'em, last time i spoke to each of them i ended up in tears, for no particular reason other than i'm crap at controlling my emotions and blub like a baby even when i don't want to the note says along the lines of 'we're always here if you need us' i want to ring and say thank you but i know i'll cry again[saddo] will try later, although not too much later as if you call my nan after 7 she thinks there's a problem, bless her

elkiedee · 02/06/2008 16:59

Too early to decide yet, I'm still worrying about things going wrong. Don't think I can think of any more boys' names, either.

elkiedee · 02/06/2008 17:00

Oh that's so sweet, Eddas.

mamiguay · 02/06/2008 18:30

Hello! I´m sure there´ll be a new thread by the time I finish typing this but here goes..

Noah has chickenpox! Again?? No, apparently what he had 2 weeks ago wasn´t it. Extremely annoying as at the time he was only mildly unwell (a bit whingy and occasionally light temp at night, snotty etc.) but we couldn´t send him to nursery because we thought (and were told by the doc) that it was The Pox. So dh rearranged work hours, I took some of my very few holidays (I only get 10 days a year!) and we managed.

Except now he actually DOES have it and I can´t take more time off. Poor little ds is all spotty though so far not particularly miserable which is something at least.

So that´s my news, everyone ok?

StealthPolarBear · 02/06/2008 18:36

That's really nice of them Eddas
elkie - ikwym - but I loved your first choice of boy's name so much I wondered whether I'd agree with your next choices
Pesha, you sound stressed. Poor D. Hope he is OK now.
mamiguay - that's really annoying! Is your DH taking all the time off this time?
DH seems to be coming round to the idea of number 2 - we had a serious discussion about it the other night which for him means it's only a matter of time before he thinks it's a great idea. Funnily enough the reality of it is now starting to scare me Although we did discuss names

StealthPolarBear · 02/06/2008 18:37

I forgot about the new thread

NorthernLurker · 02/06/2008 18:37

oh no - poor little Noah! And poor you - 10 days hols is disgraceful! Move back to the uk!!!

Elkie - i've got unused boys names - Anthony (what was i thinking?), Peter and Benedict to be precise.

Anyone sees Oj's thread - very, very sad.

NorthernLurker · 02/06/2008 18:38

x post SPB - go for it! Might be twins
