Do you not drive NL?

It's a case of needs must in this house.... I love dh to bits, but he is totally bloody useless. I have a go, and if I can't then I ask my dad! lol

Touch wood it looks ok atm [fingers crossed emoticon]

StealthPolarBear · 31/05/2008 08:31

Morning everyone
Enjoy the cruise SOL, although I think you've already gone
Hope the washing machine is OK caz.
Another dreadful night At least when he was small a bad night would tend to be followed by an OK one. I need to do something!

Sexonlegs · 31/05/2008 09:03

Morning all Not gone yet. Off at about 1.30 - dad picking me up and taking me and mum down to the ship and then dh will bring B and K down to wave us off.

Caz, hope the washing machine is sorted. What a pita. Can't imagine life without a wm.

SPB, to bad night. What happened?

StealthPolarBear · 31/05/2008 09:19

Where are you cruising SOL?
Just the usual, he fed all night, plus I feel I don't get any room in the bed squished between him and DH. On a good night he leaves gaps of a coupld of hours between feeds Moan, moan, winge - all I ever do! Tongiht I'm going back to getting up, feeding him in his room and then putting him back in his cot - he'll hate it!!

oooggs · 31/05/2008 09:39

No idea what is going on but I am shattered and keep going to bed really early yes earlier than normal

Have had friend staying for a couple of days, so haven't had time to get on, so hello! Did ya miss me!!?

Good to see NL back

and about little Eva, Leaky. Praying for her, sweet little thing. How are you doing??

MJ - about surgery - Grrrr to them messing you around. xx

Brain has emptied of everything else. I am feeling a bit tired and foggy atm, very emotional etc It's "my time of the month", but it is more than that, think I am a bit anxious and depressed too. Lots of things in my head. All jumbled. Desperately wanting a proper break etc. Sigh.

Sorry.

How's C today GM? xx

Erm. Erm. Erm.

about Paypal account, Elkie - hope you can sort something out.

Lots of preggies from our thread now Not me!!

In tears on OJs thread. Praying hard for that precious family.

NorthernLurker · 31/05/2008 11:06

Hi Dippy

Dh is a bit better this morning - think we'll be ok for the wedding do tonight. No i don't drive - I ride a mean bicycle though and you should see me push a pram!

OJ's thread is hard reading isn't it? I don't think it will be very long now though

Right got to go do stuff! Gorgeous day here

cazboldy · 31/05/2008 11:06

I fixed it! [proud of myself emoticon]

I am on the 5th load this morning!

NorthernLurker · 31/05/2008 11:25

well done! I did three loads last night and there's lots more for today and there's only five of us altogether!

CaptainDippy · 31/05/2008 11:26

Well Done Caz - you rock!! Speaking of washing ..... I've got another load to go and put on now .....

NorthernLurker · 31/05/2008 11:27

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh

Just seen March 07's thread title - 'babies no longer' - Noooooooooooooo! I've still got a baby here

cazboldy · 31/05/2008 11:31

Quite right NL..... Molly will always be my baby

elkiedee · 31/05/2008 11:35

Well done Caz, with your clan and all that outdoor activity doing without a washing machine sounds tough.

We took D to his audiology (hearing) appt this morning, it seems fine but he has fluid behind the ear and they'll want to see him again in 6 months - though they don't think there's a real problem. Still, a Saturday am appt and the clinic couldn't be nearer to us, it's just opposite the local park. We met a woman and her twin daughters on our way out, they're the same age as D though were two months premature, and he's bigger than them both put together.

And I have an booking in date with the midwife, hopefully will hear about a scan date soon too...

elkiedee · 31/05/2008 11:38

Yes, D will always be my baby - just like my 6 foot tall 31 year old brother will always be my baby brother!

cazboldy · 31/05/2008 11:40

I have a 6ft tall baby brother too!

NorthernLurker · 31/05/2008 11:51

ooh Elkie - a booking in appointment - how exciting - makes it all a bit more 'real' doesn't it? It only seems like five minutes since I went to mine

NorthernLurker · 31/05/2008 11:52

Just read that back and want to be clear - my booking in appointment in September 2006! Nothing more recent!

CaptainDippy · 31/05/2008 11:53

All three of mine are still babies

Glad appt was ok Elkie ..... oooooh .... scan soon!

Eddas · 31/05/2008 11:53

me too can't call him little brother anymoe as he can lean on my shoulder

nice to see you cd, you sound very much like i feel, accept i do get the ocassional break {{{hugs}}} let me know if there's anything I can do

SOL of your cruise. Not sure i'd like a cruise but atm anything would do me

caz, i really admire how much you do. wish i'd stop being pathetic and just get on with things

OJ's thread is hard to read, mum had a brain tumour in the end. She went very quickly though, was diagnosed on friday and died monday. Although she was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer(both lungs) 7 weeks before she actual died. 7 weeks was too long for her to know. After having watched her and everyone deal with that I haop when my time comes i don't know anything about it before hand. Harder on loved ones but better for the person IMO.

Sorry, enough doom and gloom

Hope everyone's having/has a fab day. Me and dd are off to the park later(weather permitting) to see my friends so that should be fun oh and ds seems better today, more his simley self, not totally, but he's been very whingy this last week which is unlike him

cazboldy · 31/05/2008 12:02

Eddas i'm totally sure you are not pathetic!

So sorry about your mum

NorthernLurker · 31/05/2008 12:06

Eddas - that sounds like it was so terribly hard for you all - very sorry about your mum.
