Oh and we got a tax rebate!!!!!!
I can now buy some shoes as one of the dogs has half chewed one of mine and i have a pair of boots
I keep thinking they will take it back again.[eeeeek]

mammyjo · 27/05/2008 17:53

Fab news about tax rebate Dooby. It is so lovely to get some cash you weren't expecting! Happy shoe shopping

Fab pics SOL B's room looks gorgeous. I want to paint F's room pink, but just have not got the time to do it! Maybe when she is 5............!

We have had a fab day with POTC, M and J. Ds was a bit of a girl and stayed near me most of the time (we went to Jump), but he enjoyed himself nonetheless. F was exhausted and slept all the way home, but had a great time crawling around the toddler area. Such a huge place and there is one in Cardiff too so I think I will be checking it out!
POTC, hope you get home safely. I am sure you will still be on the road just now, I got home at around half four, and there were loads of lorries on the motorway but luckily they were on the opposite carriageway!!

Mamiguay, I use things like little pieces of cheese, rice cakes, sandwiches cut up really small, breadsticks, raisins. F likes little bits of fruit, at the moment her favourite is melon. You can use whatever you like really, but I would use things that don't stain or make too much mess! I only ever put out a small amount, but she likes to come back to it as she potters around. It doesn't last long normally! Hope that is of some use

Hi everyone
Dippy, how is P?
Good news about tax rebate Dooby!
Mum and Dad are having T all night tomorrow! I'm looking forward to it in a way but am going to miss my little guy so much

mamiguay · 27/05/2008 20:21

hello! sticking to my resolution to make more effort to come and say hi MNing just isn´t the same though.. I used to curl up on the sofa with my little Mac ibook and could stay like that for hours. Since N smashed the screen it is the least portable laptop I´ve ever seen, hooked up to an external monitor and anchored down to it´s home at the dining room/study/playroom desk where I type perched on a very uncomfortable wooden chair trying not to tap-tap-TAP too loudly as I am only feet from N´s room...

So now I have set that scene I am off to find some food. Thanks for the suggestions Mammyjo, i feel we are in times of change so i am happy to try anything.

Sorry P was under the weather Dippy, hope she feels better soon
Yay! to tax return dooby!
Yay! to baby free night SPB! of course you´ll miss him, but you´ll have fun too...

Evening all

You lot had a chatty Monday! Congrats NGT, I'm out of the loop and not on MSN so bit clueless as to your real identity.

Mamiguay - I agree that the picnic approach can be useful when they're in a fussy mood. G and I had a carpet picnic this afternoon. Teeny sandwiches, grapes, pear, breadsticks. He ate loads more than he would have in his high chair.

He has a poorly finger. Nursery phoned DH at 4pm to say his index finger was swollen and possibly infected. I was on the bus home so went straight to nursery in a bit of a tizz having had 40 mins to imagine all kinds. Only to find he was quite happy with a red, sore looking finger. It doesn't seem to be bothering him too much but think I will take him to doc tomorrow to see if it needs antibiotics/dressing/some kind of special care. Bless him he keeps remembering it hurts and showing it to me or DH.

My appointment to talk PND is Friday pm. Wanted to go on a workday, so that G will be at nursery (just in case I start foaming at the mouth or something)

BTW SOL yiur girls are beautiful

CD hope poorly P is feeling better soon.

cazboldy · 27/05/2008 21:08

Hi all

had a fantastic afternoon

You would think that my lot would be fed up of farms, but they were all desperate to feed the lambs ( oh they are so cute ) and sit on the combine, while it was being serviced (which i am not so sure the fitter enjoyed )

Had a bit of a chat with Harry's teacher (whose farm it was) and think I am going to find out about training to be a teacher once Molly goes to school

cazboldy · 27/05/2008 21:09

lol GT

I feel like doing that sometimes!

oooggs · 27/05/2008 21:20

caz you never fail to suprise me a teacher??????? you go girl

working tomorrow: get to sit down for a while, not share lunch, shut the toilet door (must remember to )

oooggs · 27/05/2008 21:21

StealthPolarBear · 27/05/2008 21:38

I'm going to have boobs like watermelons

StealthPolarBear · 27/05/2008 21:38

I thought you were my age - that last sentence make me realise you are younger...how did you get to be so sensible?

cazboldy · 27/05/2008 21:39

was that meant for your other thread????

Does he still drink that much?

StealthPolarBear · 27/05/2008 21:44

No, just general ramblings
Who drinks? Oh DS, I thought you meant DH!
Yes, l;oads. Last few mornings he's snacked on and off from 2-6.30 (some nights better than others). This morning I think he fed at 3ish and then not again. I gave him a quick feed before I left for work at 7.45, just a minutie or so each side. By the time I got home I was about to burst!
