Egg and Sally- and Ginger - am shocked you are feeling so bad. Although I would be sceptical about the value of a questionnaire to assess your mental state you must be feeling pretty bad to score so highly. I scored 4 and feel realy guilty now! Sally try not to let the thought of going back to work ruin the rest of your time off. It will be hard but in different ways and you may find getting out in the daytimes helps. Have you looked into child tax credits? (I've been putting off filling in the form for ages) Just wondered if there's any way you can manage to reduce your working days so as to do less than full time.
Does anyone else's LO send themselves off to sleep by themselves? If LO doesn't stay asleep between last feed and being put into cot there follows a scream-a-thon when we leave him in his cot- a battle of wills which we always lose due to his skills in emotional manipulation.
Tyaca - do feel like I have had something amputated when I brush my hair!
Not looking forward to the first period returning after your tales. I'd heard they weren't as painful after you've had a baby... If you reduce b/f slowly (say with LO between 6 and 12 months) when do they reappear?
Count - at DP's behaviour. That's really out of order.
LO is now a very stable sitter and has been riding a little rocking horse . He can only roll onto his left side though and keeps waking up stuck staring at the wall and crying. He's only rolled all the way over once (apart from the 2 week old freak event) and that was cause MIL left him screaming til he was so mad. Glad to hear DD is getting some hair Egg!
I am wierd about car crashes too - don't like going in the car with just me and LO and it's always at the back of my mind when we plan trips. Have always been a bit of a worrier though and I thought I'd worry more than I do - will probably get worse though; not looking forward to the time when LO and all his friends get their driving licences... I try not to think about these worries too much though as it's the sort of thing that could end up paralysing your life. Princess is your DH's bike a push bike or motorbike? DP cycles from Finsbury Park to Paddington most days and I absolutely hate it - it just seems so dangerous. But he loves it!
Glad you're going to see a counsellor Princess - you sound like you might have a panic attack at the moment tbh. Look after yourself and take it easy as much as you're able to. Glad you've been able to talk to DH.
at DD sticking her tongue out Tyaca. DS has discovered his tongue too and chews it, sticks it out and blows raspberries all the time. He is a bit of a mummy's boy at the moment and tries to eat me whenever he gets in lunging distance. I have a lovely set of lovebites on my shoulder which is vey cute but a litte .
Hope you can make it to visit Egg Ginger! Should be fun.
Good night.
