Afternoon all. Really hope we hear something from princess soon. Getting a bit worried now as she was posting updates fairly regularly at first.
Sarah glad you had a lovely anniversary. I would have prob fallen asleep at the restaurant, so I think you did well!
Tyaca I am feeling a bit like you. I feel shattered, no life, no energy as never enough sleep, very little effort in appearance most days, have turned into a monstrous nag to DH (he is very good about it but occasionally lets it be known that he does not appreciate me taking out my bad mood on him). DS1, DS2 and I have all got bad throats / coughs / colds. DTs are not taking their milk properly, DD is hardly having anything, whether i offer milk before solids or after. THe only time she wants a proper full feed is at 2am kind of time, and I am now giving her half water then to desperately try to get her to sleep longer.
Ugh.
DS2 is rolling a lot now. He loves it and gets very excited. DD keeps sticking her leg in the air but gets stuck halfway and has only managed it once or twice. DS2 now hates his bouncy chair as it restricts him... Am thinking of getting the playpen put together again soon, these babies will be a hazard once they are moving, esp as DS1 has so many toys with small parts that he scatters everywhere constantly.
Lucy, I don't do much cooking tbh. I honestly think I would go over the edge if I was trying to prepare a meal from scratch for DS1 at 5-5:30ish pm each day, as well as making my own purees etc for DTs. DS1 has, in an average week, for supper, one or two M&S kids meals (spagbol / cottage pie / meaty pasta), they are yummy and not full of shite and he gets very excited about them, then he will have sausage and mash, salmon and mash, roast chicken and mash, meatballs and mash (you get the picture) cooked by me the other days. Nothing very extravagant! For lunch he normally has a sandwich, or quiche, or fishfingers.
As for the babies, they are mainlining on Ella's Kitchen sachets and Plum Baby pots.
Just looked over at DS2, he is now under the playmat (ie, the actual mat is on top of him ). He is kicking his legs around and cooing.
Gill, thanks for Beany update, I knew she still loved us really! at DS at your toddler group, hope he is ok. Let's face it, anything can happen when there is cake in sight .
Sally, fingers crossed re chickenpox. Am just waiting for my lot to get it, considering they are all at nursery some of the time. That will be a fun time .
Can't sign off without some poo talk. We had NINE poos from three DCs yesterday. Yes NINE. Even DS1, the non-pooer, did three (two golf ball sized, one the size of his arm ). And DS2 did a poo, rather than some poo for one of his! It was a lump, not a splat! Woohooo.
