I'm eating vienetta and having a nice glass of wine, the kids are in bed and DH is at a beer festival, this is really rather lovely!!
easy - nice to hear from you again, your girls are gorgeous!
lizzie - just when you think they've got the toilet thing sorted they go and start weeing agin don't they?! DD weed on the floor in Mothercare the other weekend, and then again in the cafe at the swimming pool! I have to say I'm quite glad William isn't crawling yet - I really will need eyes in the back of my head then! Ollie is making great progress.
Jarm - you're back too!! glad you had a good holiday. Where did you go?
lom - William isn't really sleeping through either. He manages a full night about once a fortnight, and his worst nights are the ones when I have to work the next day, proabably because I have to get up at 6!! At the moment he has a horrible cough and I've been up for a couple of hours just comforting him, then I can't get back to sleep which is so annoying. Then when he does sleep through DD for some reason wakes up! She was up at 4 on Thursday morning...
rg - Ellie's only 2 weeks younger than William and as I've said he's nowhere near crawling yet. It's fasinating how differently they develop though. DD wasn't fussed by crawling, then once she mastered it, at 9 months, decided it was rubbish and decided to try walking instead. She was crawling before she could roll over!! If I wanted to do something I just had to put on her back and she couldn't follow me
I had a lovely evening on Thursday as I caught up with an old school friend who had a baby in February - he's a William too. She had a horrible labour - 42 hours which ended in an emergency c-section. He weighed 9lbs 10!! Because he had swallowed meconium and got an infection he was in special care for 5 days alongside babies born at 28 weeks! My friend said he looked so out of place! Anyway, he's doing fine now, and weighs as much as my William . It was so good to catch up, she lives in East Sussex now so we don't get to see each other often.
Looking forward to some lovely sunshine tomorrow, nighty night!
