Happy Birthday for tomorrow Febes

HELLOOOooo.... You better not all be Christmas shopping or there'll be trouble. We haven't even thought about it yet.

Happy birthday Febes - I hope you being treated to a lovely day.

Well I've had great day. I went on course which meant I could wriggle my out of a parent's evening. It was 3 -8 and there's no way I'd have got there before 5, plus I couldn't be arsed.

The lady running the course got stuck in traffic and didn't get there untill 11, and we finished at 2. So I popped in to afriend and loaded all of shite in to the loft.

Oh yeah and I got a lie unitl 8. I have been much blessed.

It's Eid next week and lots of the kids are taking the whole week off because ,"You lot get two weeks for Christmas." So I'm on the wind down to holidays.

Thomas is doing well and starting to make some word like noises. He's also got awful nappy rash. The doc has given him some hydrocortisone cream. Poor lamb is absolutley raw.

Greedy - A meet up in the New Year will be great.

hi everyone! hav only got two mins so will just be a little one! was raimees bday on tues had a brilliant day, went to see santa and went the wacky for dinner and had it all to ourself which she loved! had a party sun which went really well!!
raimees got a fever today am panicking as nursery had a confirmed baby with measles last week so fingers crossed its not that. first time shes ever refused breakfast.

Thanks everyone I had a lovely day. DH gave me a spa day with 3 treatments of my choice so I'm really looking forward to indulging in that. I went out for dinner with 7 girl friends which was lush and DH babysat. I felt very spoilt. Anabel has slept so well this week and I feel human again. I hope it continues through the weekend. I feel all festive and happy at the moment.x

Sounds like an excellent day Febes. Do your think your DH would buy me spa treatments for my birthday .

Febes - sounds lovely, I always ask for beauty treatments now but rarely get them hence I look like an old bag .

Sam - fingers crossed not measles, glad Raimee had a nice birthday.

LOM - I haven't bought a single solitary thing for DH or parents yet and no clue what to get when I eventually get around to it. We have just bought a baby carrier for walks and that is Adam's main pressie from us cos we are overrun with toys now from his birthday. Your training day sounded worthwhile!

Must go and do the marking...

P.S. Am marking human growth & development essays and thought I would share this pearl of wisdom with you "At twelve months a baby will be having their first birthday"!! I am obviously a fab teacher.

been in alder hey all afternoon raimees foot swelled up and has gone a horrible colour, i thought she mustve sprained it or something toddling about but hosp said its an infection she prob picked up in nursery, gotta go back again in morn and give her anitbiotics, feel so sorry for her it looks really sore, and was so out of the blue.
febs- sounds like a brilliant day! v envious of the spa treatments!

So glad all the birthdays are going well! it's Ellie's birthday tomorrow and so far today she's been a bit of a tinker. She was a nightmare to get to sleep (hopefully just teething) so i only hope that she goes off ok tomorrow night and after her party on Saturday!

Gotta go - DP's back from Asda and we have to make Ellie's birthday cake! Will catch up later.

I had such a PITA moving the car seats between cars that I had to go to Halfords and check I'd fitted properly. They had an ex display model at half price so i bought it not sure dh is too impressed but then again he's not the one with a crying baby and a tangle of straps and buckles to contend with.

Quiet night in tonight. YAY

Oh and we booked our holiday last night. We're going to Keswick for a week in May. I'll have to hand my notice in now as that's the middle of term !

Thanx everyone! Ellie has had a fab couple of days! She enjoyed the zoo yesterday with me, DP, Grandparents and my friend and her DD and thoroughly enjoyed looking at all the animals. Today was her party and she wasn't as bad as i thought she would be. She only whinged towards the end of the party but i think that was because she wanted to walk everywhere by holding both my hands and she was also hungry lol. I dont know who's more knackered now tho - me or her!

HI all, just a quickie to say happy birthday to Raimee and Ellie, albeit belated. I've been struck down by a really heavy cold and been incapable of doing anything vaguely productive. I haven't wanted to eat anything and just spent a few days in bed.

Will catch up properly this week when my house looks like a house again, and not like a man's been in charge of the place...
