How annoying LOM!!! You'll have to find a way for little fingers not to switch off switches again!!

Blimey a whole day with no chat!

Hope you are all ok.

LOM - the start of many "adjustments" by the Master of the house. Our Sky box stopped working recently and guess who the prime suspect is?

Happy birthday to all the birthday girls, hope you are all recovered now.

Jet - hope you feel better. Me and DH have had a lingering viral type thing which makes you feel crapola but not enough to stay off work - pathetic!

Roll on end of term...

Greedy - roll on the end of term indeed. WQe got a snotty e-mail from the Head yesterday sayiong that this was not a time for'winding down and momentum should be maintained'. Basically no game or videos. Miserable cow. Hpe you and DH feel better soon.

Right off to shop now. I debating wether or not buy a cake mix for DS birthday 2 moz or have a go at making one...

Hi everyone

I dont know what's happened by loads of the threads i'm on have all gone quiet - i'm starting to get paranoid!!

Jet - hope you're feeling better now! I've also had a heavy cold recently but i dont think it's as bad as yours sounds! I'm still bunged up but at least i can finally now breathe out of my nose again. Hoorah!

Greedy - hope you get your Sky sorted! Ellie also likes playing with all things TV related. How on earth do you beg a 1 year old NOT to bash daddy's very expensive flat screen TV with their shapes from the shape sorter?!!

Ellie has decided that she'd like to become a velcro baby and also a baby that doesn't like to sleep very much at night. The velcro bit i can sort of handle but it's the lack of sleep that's doing my head in! Last night she woke up 4 times. One time i had to bring her in and sit with her cradled in my arms til she fell deep asleep again (she wont go to sleep if she's put in the middle of me and DP) and then when i put her back in her cot, she woke up and starting crying again! Thankfully she was just moaning and settled herself after a couple of minutes.

Does anyone else's LOs get hysterical after about 1 minute if they're not comforted?! Sometimes i try and just leave her to see if she settles herself but after just about 1 minute i can hear her in her room absolutely crying and even wretching where she's nearly being sick because she's hysterical! I didn't think babies could get so hysterical and upset after such a short space of time lol!

I'd like to think she's teething but she's not really showing signs of teething atm so maybe it's just separation anxiety to the extreme (). I think i am really going to have to perfect my back carrying in the babyhawk......

RG - T is starting with the separation anxiety at the mo. he's been more wakeful the last foew night too but that's probably c'os he's stuffed up with cold.

I hope Ellie gives you a better nigh tonight. It sounds exhausting for you; particularly when you have to go to work.

I've found that the more upset T the more tired he is. I usually leave him squawling for a few mins and 9 times out of 10 he goes back to sleep. if not I give him a dring of water which often works. They are funny creatures.
