No Erin isn't walking but in the last few days she has started standing unaided and taking 3-5 steps. She doesn't seem bothered that Jack is walking/running around. She has been climbing in the sofa etc... for ages and now Jack can do it too (don't think she is impressed with that!!)

T has been sleeping for 3 hours!! I'm hoping it's the "i've-been-poorly-and-not-slept-catch-up" sleep! Rather than the "I'm-still-poorly-and-am-going-to-be-grouchy-all-day-and-now-I've-slept-I-can-be-up-all-night" sleep!

spb - what are you up to today for the birthday boy?? Did you do the hedgehog cake in the end (sorry if you have already posted this!)

I didn't because we cancelled his party. Was going to do it next week but Granny and Grandad are away so not sure what to do for the best. We've just had a candle in a mini roll for now

katy - he won't remember and you can have a party soon when all are well and gps are about

Dippy - how's the packing going? Don't stress - just pack two t-shirts per child, waterproofs andswimming costumes - plus nappies and a vat of calpol. That'll see you right. Glad P got her parcel - I think I put the recipt in so just take it back if you have hundreds - intriguing huh?

That's sweet of you Caz I'm doing 29 hours (which feels like too many now) over 4 days (which also feels like too many) I finish at 3 on thursday so i can get the girls from school and I have Friday off.

Thanks for all the good wishes ladies, so kind of you all. It really does make a difference. Just hoping that the surgery will not be too far in the future, that way I will have less time to get worked up about it!! I am already getting stressed that we are going to have to cancel our holiday because of it Really need to pull myself together!

Really glad you seem to be managing the pain with diet atm MJ, hope it lasts and you get surgery date soon.

Am absolutely, totally knackered. Didnt get to bed till about half 3 last night, woke up at 6 and couldn't sleep, probably managed another 10 mins but that was it and been n the go ever since (thats me yawning btw!) POTC and the boys came to D's second party at my mum's this afternoon which was really nice, was lovely to have a few more dc there and weather actually stayed nice up until the end so they got to play in garden. Was like christmas as was joint party for D and my sister's dd and my mum always buys a M and N a little non-birthday present or 2 so they dont feel left out so me and my mum both bought Matthew and Joe a present each so they didn't feel left out either! There were bags and bags of presents being handed out round all the dc!!

The man POTC was talking about is not sofa boy but I will say no more! I was talking to sofa boy on phone last night like she said, strange conversation, not sure what it was all about! (Nothing to do with me being pissed of course!! ). Oh and I would like to point out that the reason I was tiddly and they weren't is cos POTC stopped drinking after 2 drinks and J was drinking very slowly, I'm not just a lightweight!!! And loving 'Pisha' SOL, cheeky mare!! Might have to name change when I'm feeling a bit more with it!

I so wanna go to bed but if I go sleep now I'll wake up about 10 and be awake half the night Roll on 9 o'clock!

Had a great day after a so so start. Went for a walk and pub lunch, and then we stopped at our local country park on the way back. B and K on great form.

Sad tonight, as have run out of Aptamil, so on to cows milk we go. Feels like the end of an era.

Not sure K is going to like it much; she doesn't seem keen on the taste on her cereal.

T finally asleep - hurrah! Fingers crossed he'll stay in his cot tonight!
