CS- it is on Davy Rd (CB1). Don't know whereabouts you live?

They had an amazing 'tilted wheel' roundabout thingy- I can't possibly describe it, except that sitting on it is a little like an ultra-mini roller coaster!

Frizbe · 28/04/2008 16:47

EPPM we demand a photo of the roundabout next time you're in the area

CSWS for sounding like you had a good weekend.

MRM you have the same size boobs as me now then sorry no spares going here though.

Jas for not a posting mood, too many accounts and dh getting to you?

Flame, hope you had fun and the dh's did too?

Phoenix, how'd it go?

So dh gone home to bed in pain here, his brusing was horrible last night when I looked, worse than before (but Dr did say it would be) but he's been over doing it, instead of staying at home Sun and letting the kids run round him, he insisted he be the one at work (so he didn't have to marshall the kids, even though this meant more standing up ) then he drove ss home this am (couldn't avoid this one, as girls to nursery and work to open up too, then he had to come into work, whilst I did house handover with old tennants at the house I look after for a abroad friend, so when I got back and finally took a look at him, I sent him home to bed....really hoping its not a hospital job eeeeeekkkkk.....)

mustrunmore · 28/04/2008 19:18

Wish I had the same size body as you too

ChasingSquirrels · 28/04/2008 22:04

Thanks EPPM, I'm in one of the villages about 10 miles outside Cambridge - but I drive past that park every day on my way home from work, always thought it looks like quite a good one - but too far for an after school trip - maybe we will take a picnic over in the summer holidays - the multimap ariel view looks like there is a paddling pool aswell?

Hope everyone is well.

EachPeachPearMum · 28/04/2008 22:44

cs- the paddling pool is derelict I'm afraid...

ChasingSquirrels · 28/04/2008 23:12

ah well...

damewashalot · 29/04/2008 08:26

Hello!

Far too much for me to even think about catching up, only just found you on here and missed loads of the last thread, last time I was on , Warwick castle was being discussed, did you ever pick a date?

So what did I miss? Have gathered flame itches but don't know why and frizbe's dh has been re-snipped??

How's the pg going csws? anyone else joining in?

I'm finding I just don't have time to get on here, or do house work must get flying again, pg with no4 is making me tired.
I'm 34 wks now and have a spinning baby that likes having it's feet down a lot of the time but head sometimes, booked for a scan in 3 wks to see what it's doing.

Must take boys to school, oops

CantSleepWontSleep · 29/04/2008 09:29

Hellooooo dame!
Still no date decided for Warwick, or for piss up at mine.
Pregnancy going fine as far as I can tell thanks. Still a bit tired, but otherwise fine. 18 weeks now, but scan not for another 4 weeks.
No-one else joining us yet (EPPM was, but isn't any more )
No-one knows what's wrong with flame - she's a mystery to modern science .
Jas feeling a bit low so reading but not posting.
mrm still obsessing about her weight and seeing herself as bigger than she is, but seems to be doing lots of other stuff to keep her busy.
Phoenix has no internet connection at the moment, so is prob champing at the bit, and has given up her dog which she is sad about.
Yes, Friz's dh had snip again, as didn't work first time.
CS has split with dh, but hasn't shared details. Hoping she is ok and knows we are here to talk to if she needs us .
Chloe pops in and out in various states of not knowing what to do with life.
Kel is doing pretty well, and is still with (not so) new bloke, but doesn't post on here any more.
macca has all but disappeared since doing her personal trainer training.
Have I forgotten anyone?!

damewashalot · 29/04/2008 10:51

Thanks csws, no good asking me if missed anyone, have terrible pg brain this time, having to write lists or forget everything

My biggest excitement of late was ds2 needing 5 stitches in his hand after jumping out of a tree, which was very scarey, 6 yr olds with blood squirting out of their hand are not what pg women need to be dealing with

CantSleepWontSleep · 29/04/2008 11:54

Bugger - something wrong with dd.
Whingey (except for 15 mins when she got up at 6:15 and when in the bath with me), def running a temp, runny nose, bags under eyes (could be related to lack of sleep), and just cried and had cuddles through toddler group, though didn't want to actually come home. Just given nurofen and now feeding to sleep on my lap. Fingers crossed it turns out to just be teeth - she was sticking her fingers in her mouth a bit between sobs.

EachPeachPearMum · 29/04/2008 13:28

Prob teeth.
Dd keeps complaining about her gums hurting. Last night was first night she slept through in about a month

Frizbe · 29/04/2008 14:01

EPPM for dd sleeping through.

CSWS for poorly dd hope its teeth and nothing worse.

Dame eeeeek for the spurting blood, scarey stuff, glad he's ok now. Can't believe your 34 weeks, where has that time gone
Just so you know, dh's snip didn't work 1st time, so we're going with continual castration and getting him re done every few months to be sure Oh ok only teasing, he's been done a 2nd time and hopefully its the last time

MRM I'm not slim you know??? I'm a lumpy bumpy size 14 who is forever attempting exercise and still not going down in size, but at least I'm fit (ish)

Hi Jas, Flame, Phoenix, CS and anyone else whose lurking Hotmama??? am having a quick lunch break lurk here

Frizbe · 29/04/2008 14:29

www.trausseminervois.com/index.html from the thread on the talkboards, if anyone still needs to book a holiday

ChasingSquirrels · 29/04/2008 15:16

ah, no I haven't shared - first post on this thread has brief details.

Ekk at snip not working, poor bloke!

Jas · 29/04/2008 15:30

CS

Frizbe - are you tall? I would've said you were slim, too

Could be teeth, could be almost anythi, csws. You'll just have to wait and hope it is teeth and doesn't last long.

EPPM the dds learn to go to sleep anywhere/withot e evbtually, so it should get better.
ds is fine at home in his cot, but when we stayed at my parents he was a nihtmare.

mustrunmore · 29/04/2008 20:57

Well Friz, I'm a huuuggee very lumpy and oddly shaped 14, who is very unfit

34 weeks?????

CantSleepWontSleep · 30/04/2008 08:29

hotmama is pregnant!
And I think Teuch is too - just going to see if I can confirm.

damewashalot · 30/04/2008 10:20

MRM you can't be a 14 and huge, unless you are only about 4foot tall The biggest I've ever been is a 14 and people still called me slim. I think maybe it's more about how you feel and see yourself isn't it? I would not be happy at size 14, need to be 12 to feel like 'me' and the trouble is that no matter how much other people say you look fine, you need to be happy. Tell me to shut up if I'm talking crap btw as I realise I've never met you so what do I know Just a thought, I know you are into the running and stuff but ave you tried pilates? huge fan here, I lost inches off all sorts of places just using a book and dvd at home, it is so good for toning.

I went on a bit there didn't I? what else was I going to say???

Helo everyone else housework calls!

Jas · 30/04/2008 12:31

I don't think you are talking rubbish, I think the problem is how mrm feels and sees herself, rather than her actually being big.

Having said that, I've never been above a 12, and tbh if I was suddenly a 14 I think I'd be pretty cross!

I knew hotmama was pregnant I can't remember where I saw it, and it obviously didn't stay in my mind for long.

How is dd today csws?

Flame · 30/04/2008 12:55

Try and see it this way.

You have spent your life as a size 14. You are now a size 22.

It doesn't matter if the rest of the world is a size 22, and sees you as fine, you see you as double the size you used to be

CantSleepWontSleep · 30/04/2008 13:41

Still miserable Jas, but thanks for asking. Her temp went up again late afternoon yesterday, when the nurofen had worn off, so I've kept her doped up on either that or Calpol ever since! I think there may be 2 molars coming, top and bottom on the same side, but I need another rummage in there before I can be sure!

CantSleepWontSleep · 30/04/2008 13:58

Errrrm - it seems I've gone mad. We already knew that hotmama was pregnant as she came onto the last thread and told us, and we all said congratulations . Can I blame pregnancy hormones ?

ChasingSquirrels · 30/04/2008 14:07

but MRM - you ran 3km the other day did you not? How in anyones book can that be unfit??

Jas · 30/04/2008 17:01

The level of unfit is similar to the size issue. She is unfit because she was very fit and ran loads, so it is all relative.

I, on the other hand, am truly unfit

mustrunmore · 30/04/2008 19:52

See, at least someone understands me! Last week I thought I was doing better, but this week I feel enormous again. But I know that wsa because I was on an emotional hihg last week, and am very sad this week (non size related!)
I've exercised (aerobics or 5km run with 2 x3km ones) 17 days out of the last 19, so I'm hsving a night off tomorrow!
