mustrunmore · 30/06/2008 09:25

My ytping is superb today, isnt it?

Off to aerobics in a while; ds1 ceciding if he wanys to come. Am doing 3 classes a weeek onw, and 2-3 runs, and a day off. Getting very slowly but progressively happier with that side of me.

CantSleepWontSleep · 30/06/2008 09:52

Blimey. More posts from mrm in one morning than she's managed in the last month!

Can I just check that everyone is still on for Warwick on 17th August? Dd has an invite to a good friend's party, and I want to make sure that I don't turn it down and then everyone backs out of our trip.

Flamesparrow · 30/06/2008 10:38

I'm a probably not for warwick now... DH has the last 2 weeks of august off work, and I am trying to convince him to go to Wales from work on Friday so it is over with asap and we can get the cat

Hmmm. Not sure. I'll come if everyone else does, but tbh, wouldn't mind if we cancelled, as I just keep looking at the price of petrol and I'm .

Phoenix · 30/06/2008 19:46

I'm with Jas, i'll come if it's still going ahead but it's a long way for me to come with the petrol prices as they are

The T shirt is on its way Flame

Frizbe · 30/06/2008 22:56

I couldn't make it anyway

MRM for your pole and for all that exercise, no wonder your loosing lots of weight good on you.

Well girls, I'm giving up the lattes this week, wish me luck, I've gotten into bad habits, so I'm ditching them for special occasions only now only had one today, tomorrow its none

CantSleepWontSleep · 30/06/2008 23:00

Sympathies Friz. I've had to give them up too due to the diabetes, so we can abstain together.

Dd napped late today, and wouldn't go to bed until 10:15pm. Bet she'll still be up about 6.

Had meeting with extension people today, and looks like we will go ahead with all except new conservatory. Fwiw they thought it was the right decision too, and were pleased not to have been kicked out the door altogether, and surprised not to have received a ranting phone call over the weekend, as they acknowledged the significant rise in cost!

Frizbe · 30/06/2008 23:04

Hurrah I have an abstanance buddy

Hope dd doesn't wake early for you, dh was reading stories to dd2 at 3am today.....I had to get up at 6am to entertain her too think it won't be a repeat of that tomorrow, as she was still chattering to herself at 10pm

good news on the house decision then, onwards and upwards literally

Off to bed here, c ya tomorrow.

Jas · 01/07/2008 07:19

Was there an explanation for the price hike?

CantSleepWontSleep · 01/07/2008 08:36

Well there seemed to be lots of little explanations for all of it, but in summary it came down to crap estimation in the first place, and then us wanting the aluminium frame for the conservatory. I think they were prob way out on the cafe doors though, as they'd always talked about them being about £3k per set, when in fact they are about £1k per metre, meaning considerably more than that.

Frizbe · 01/07/2008 21:34

eeeek at 1k per meter, not that those would be any good on our current house anyway, but supposing we ever moved, I kinda had something like that in mind (in my dreams eh!)

Your house is going to look so lovely when its done CSWS, hope you invite us all round

Well have just killed myself here at Hula, then Pilates, am so going to hurt after that Pilates I can tell you......am at the shop waiting for the people here to finish up 5 x lads and 2 x girlfriends, none of whom I'm happy to report fall under the normal remit of gamer hurrah, we're converting reasonable people to gaming (we have a friend whose running Tue eve's for us, as I put my foot down at dh doing another night)

Wot you lot upto then? out enjoying the sunshine today?

CantSleepWontSleep · 01/07/2008 21:43

Err, you're all supposed to be coming round the first weekend in September aren't you?!

Not that it will be finished by then, but hopefully it will be a good way along.

Flamesparrow · 01/07/2008 22:22

I'm still coming then I'm assuming i'm holding off inviting me n the kids to stay for a while what with building hell?

OP posts:
CantSleepWontSleep · 01/07/2008 22:26

Well I'm hoping you can come with the kids at some point, but I'll get a better idea of when might be best after a couple of weeks of building I reckon, as I can see how much chaos they are creating once they've removed the thing that's holding the house up and stuck a new one in (v technical me).

OP posts:
mustrunmore · 02/07/2008 16:46

Right, I'm here for a bit but will go again, as they've fixed the landline but it has to go off again (??) Outbid on pole again
SAme as everyone, will come if lots of peole do, but tis a 6 hr round trip for us on the train, so I want it to be worth it IYSWIM.

Aerobics nearly finished me off today, but prob only because I did last night too 7.45 to 8.45, and had run in the morninig, and aerobics mon morning too! Only doing a 20min run tomorrow, thats it,

Jas · 02/07/2008 17:00

Flame.

No pole

Shall we cancel Warwick then?

I'm still ok fror csws in Sep, but it is less driving for me

Flamesparrow · 02/07/2008 19:27

for the pole

I think cancelling warwick is for the best.

MRM - are you comin to stay at all?

OP posts:
Phoenix · 02/07/2008 20:05

I didn't realise a date had been set for csws. When is it?

for pole mrm. My friends daughter has one in her living room her hands were covered in blisters when she first got it

for dd's hearing Flame.

CantSleepWontSleep · 02/07/2008 22:15

First weekend in Sept Phoenix (6th).

Dd soooooo cute tonight. Just out of the bath, wrapped in a towel, crouching down looking at herself in a mirror standing on the bathroom floor. She says 'Hello. My name is Pippa. This is my mummy , there, and my baby brother is in my mummy's tummy.'

mustrunmore · 02/07/2008 22:28

csws.

Ooo, ooo what pole does she have phoenix? I'm only finding it hard to get one 2nd hand because I want the best (sounding like csws!!). If I cant have a static/swivel, then its not worth it.

Flame.. I dunno. Would like to . But when??

Off to bed now to continue reading about snipers (dont ask!!)

mustrunmore · 02/07/2008 22:29

Oh boll I've just realised why 6th Sep sounded familiar. I've got a run on 7th There's no way I can come to a piss up the night before a run.
