pmsl EPPM, how did his night in the garden go? We're camping in the Yorkshire Dales the week after next, i can't wait

EachPeachPearMum · 23/05/2008 13:48

He says he slept REALLY well!
Yeah, probably because he couldn't hear DD screaming at 3am
I have to say, having our bed all to myself- I also slept really deeply, despite being dragged out in the wee hours. DD did sleep in until 8 thankfully.

DD made me laugh though- when she woke up, I opened her curtains and asked her to guess what was in the garden.
I gave her the clue: Its big, green, and you can play in it, and Papa slept in it.....

Her answer- my sandpit!

Flame · 23/05/2008 19:06

What is Frizbe doing in Wales on the Warwick date then?

EachPeachPearMum · 23/05/2008 21:39

Is that the pirate thingy or was that this weekend?
And has Friz actually told us anything about Paris yet???? Or did I miss it

damewashalot · 24/05/2008 16:03

Where are you all?

Still stuck here, baby madly spinning all over the place. Seeing dr tues when will decide what happening depending on position, wil be either induction if head down or if not down will either turn and induce or c sec.

Really missing dh and my boys, is dh's b,day today which kind of sucks.

Are low/sad people feeling any better?

Well I'm off to start my 4th book this week.

CantSleepWontSleep · 24/05/2008 20:44

Gosh, how dull to still be there Dame.

Just popping my head in quickly, as am off doing Eurovision tonight.

CantSleepWontSleep · 25/05/2008 21:28

@ no posts.

EachPeachPearMum · 25/05/2008 21:47

Well- people are having rl I suppose!

Phoenix · 25/05/2008 21:59

I'm been very good and only turning my laptop on for a few hours a day. It's normally the first thing i do when i get up and leave it on til i go to bed and am constantly on it so i think i'm doing really well

I'm also not drinking and on a diet which is much harder than not going on the laptop but i've lost 3lb this week, a long way to go but it's a start

Hope everyone's ok

Jas · 26/05/2008 09:22

Well done Phoenix...Diet, no drinking and less pc time

lol @ your dh in the garden EPPM.

I have been busy rl-ing

DP is unemplyed (again) so we are broke
FIL came to stay and really pissed me off (again)
It is 1/2 term and raining

I have stuff planned for most of next week but nothing today - PWP in the rain tomorrow....I just suggested cancelling if it is this wet, but the dds want t go any way and we have our season tickets now, so we may as well go.

We bought ds some crocs a couple of weeks ago so he can put them on himself, and he is now permanently wearing wellies (refuses to put the crocs on)

Flamesparro · 26/05/2008 14:40

Another rl-er here.

Trying to get business back on its feet after a slump (I couldn't be arsed to do much with it, and it NEEDS me to do things )

Not drinking is a terrible plan Phoenix

Still there Dame?

Going to doctor on Weds morning for ADs should start becoming more "me" soon.

Flamesparro · 26/05/2008 14:41

for both unemployed and lack of croc wearing Jas

Have spent the morning attacking my lounge, thinned out their toys... they are now in there playing nicely with toys

damewashalot · 26/05/2008 19:54

CantSleepWontSleep · 26/05/2008 20:15

Ooh - he's all yummy and pink and ginger .
Congratulations dame.
Jolly bad form arriving during Eurovision though .

Good going Phoenix. I would think you'd want the PC more without all your other comforts though!

for Jas's woes.

EachPeachPearMum · 26/05/2008 22:32

Wow- Dame- many congratulations- he's gorgeous!
What lovely lips

Jas- for all the crapness! (FWIW- it is too cold here for crocs atm)
DH actually slept put there for 3 nights, but was persuaded to put the tent away after the severe weather warning!

Jas · 27/05/2008 07:58

Congratulations....I'm off to share the news with the FLYladies.....

CantSleepWontSleep · 27/05/2008 09:34

I have to link Chloe's thread in case you guys miss it and it turns out to be good news!

Flamesparro · 27/05/2008 09:40

Someone has a scan today and may be finding out the sex.

Tis nice to mention these things so we can hassle you.

CantSleepWontSleep · 27/05/2008 09:48

Thought I'd just surprise you all later by hopefully talking about dd1 as opposed to dd!
Not til this afternoon, so you'll have to be patient for today!

Flamesparro · 27/05/2008 09:51

That's that surprise screwed then (Don't say things on other threads if you want secrets )

Frizbe · 27/05/2008 10:41

I reckon it will be another dd, good luck at scan hope all good How's the diabetic thing goin?

CONGRATS Dame, your little one can have Eurovision parties from now on if its still going. Photo is gorgeous, hope you not in too much discomfort? Dh is grinning for you too

EPPM at your dh in the tent in garden and lol at Sandpit

Flame we're in Wales, woking LARPing that weekend, although I do have to drive back up that Sunday night to run shop all week, whilst dh and the kids stay in Wales, then back down the following weekend, gah! (its our 11 day event - holiday for all attendees, but work for us!) Ponders if I can schedule a coffee stop at Warwick on the way back, but might be too late to catch any of you and a bit out of the direct route home, still I can make drinkies at CSWS's if I can bring the kids with me? (can I? please?)
Hope the drugs help make things work soon.

Phoenix, well done on the 3lbs

Jas, sorry to hear fil been around again driving you nuts. Shame its such a grim day today too........hope park thing is good.

We've been working in Soggy Wales all weekend, still can report both girls managed to sit through Nims Island at the cinema on Sunday afternoon, to get us out of the windy cold dampness its an ok film, for the only thing on, but doesn't set the world on fire. However can report dd2 had cinema laughing their socks off at her, for her infections giggling at the trailer for Kung Fu Panda and she managed the whole film with only two toilet breaks and one telling off from the boy in front, when she tried to climb his chair She sat down pretty quick
Very wet yesterday, have one hell of a soggy tent to dry when it eventually stops raining.....lots of trees down blocking roads etc, not nice, one of our lot had a branch through their gazeebo too

EPPM I did say summat about Paris I think? if you email me on the work email [email protected] I'll send you my blog link for the full version
