Hey we have people!!! waves a lot!!
plp - that's so great about Cerys, you really sound like you have sorted things well. I actually think that crawling is faster than walking, at first anyway so I can imagine you have the same chaos we do!
I have got fb but don't know any real names so how do I find you all?!? Are you a group? Am I just being dim??
I've been rubbish with the signing thing, been to quite a lot of classes but not done it at home. Em gabbles in swahili but not really that much in English?!? Animal noises are good
Em is also quite sickly but I think that's because of me as whenever I'm ill I tend to puke - lovely!!
choochy - we really need to see those pic's. Sound fab!
I'm having a bad week. Went home to parents for my uncle's funeral and my mum announced she has another lump - [breast cancer twice already for anyone with memory as bad as mine] Waiting for results of biopsy... Trying not to think about it at the mo!!!
Anyway I've finished work for the week now and can't wait to just do nothing but play with my pumpkin tomorrow.
Hugs to all - someone let me know if I'm able to find you on fb!

Hi all, WOW!!!!

Damn, I should have come back and checked sooner for messages.

ccpink, I'm truly sorry to hear that your Mum has found another lump. Has she adh the results back from her biopsy yet. I do hope it's benign. My Mum had breast cancer when she was only 37, she had a mastectomy, she's been clear since. Can you CAT me? I;ll give the facebook details. Dal's on there, PLP, MLCF, Edie and a few others, it's great for keeping up to date.,

PLP, I saw Cerys' signing video - fantastic!!! Niamh is learning signing too, it's so amazing how much they're able to do and I'm convinced it's brought on her speech development. I too am hypermobile so know full well the problems it brings, poor little thing, she really has gone through it hasn't she.

MLCF sounds like you're doing really well, good for you, have fun at your ball, take lots of pics

I've had a stressful few days, I won't go into full details but briefly despite my best efforts not to, I've been caught up in the fall out between two friends and one of these friends has been pretty horrid to me these past two wks, I'm just having to ignore all contact from her now. Also DH is now into his 5th week of redundancy, we're not panicking yet, but it's not good out there

Oh I do hope we can get this thread going again, we'll need to come up with a new title!!

ccpink · 05/03/2009 14:49

Definitely need a new title Heinz.
How weird about your mum. My mum had a masectomy too but has had it back once since then?!? The current lump seems at the mo a bit less worrying now. The initial tests were clear but gets scan results and next biopsy results next Monday.
We are signing too though I don't recognise much except milk on a night!
So sorry to hear about your husband - it's really scarey how bad things are at the moment. Hope he finds something soon.
I'm not sure how to CAT you or what it is but I'm about to try as guess I can figure it!
hope we can get some others back on here!

Halloooo there ! Just had to say "wow" to Heinz and Congratulations on number 4 ! You are v brave ! My DH keeps going on about how lovely it would be to have a 4th (think he secretly hopes for a boy to play football with ) but I can't even think about it !! Hope your Dh gets a new job sorted out soon - its awful at the moment isn't it ? Everyone we know is worried about their financial situation.

Hi CCPink - sorry to hear about your Mum .
I haven't worked out Facebook either - need to get on pc when Eloise is asleep as she is determined to punch keys whenever i am typing

Hey all! How are your lo's doing? I guess with the invention of facebook we no longer use these threads, but I'm reminiscing this evening!

This time 3 years ago, I was in the hospital in labour with Cerys, I'd been on here all day typing (when I shouldn't have been, as I had carpal tunnel!), and didn't realise that my bh's were actually contractions... Hopey and I discovered our love for Superman!

My waters broke while we were watching x-factor, and my mum put a waterproof tablecloth on the seat of the car on the way to the hospital...

Our gorgeous little bundle is now a proper little girl! She's absolutely hilarious most of the time, and knackering the rest of the time, but I wouldn't change a thing about her!

That was it really, just thought I'd pop in and say HI! Hope you're all doing well, I miss the old days! Lovely to see quite a few of us keeping in touch on fb...

xx PLP xx

amyclaramum · 21/09/2010 21:34

Well hello PLP - lovely to hear from you !
I never go on mumsnet anymore- was just bored and thought I'd find our old thread ! Eloise is doing really well and is loving her nursery school! I have just been sorting out her forms as she will start reception next September (AH WHERE DID THE TIME GO ?)My oldest daughter has started at secondary school and is exhausted already by week 3 - too much homework and getting a train at 7.30am ! My middle one is fine and happily planning her 9th birthday party.
So how is Cerys and how are the rest of the family ? Have you heard from anyone else over in facebook ?
And Hello to anyone else who remembers me from 3 years ago !Smile

Feeling all sentimental and decided to look back on these posts. Bringing back a lot of memories! DD from this thread is now a noisy, opinionated but very very beautiful almost 4 year old, along with her equally gorgeous 5 year old sister (from the Sept 06 thread) Hello everyone! :)
