Morning.

Ds slept through last night, first time he's done it in weeks AND he slept till 7am AND so did dd !! Bet it'll be another 10 months before that happens again .

SOL, I totally understand. I backed out of ski-ing this year as I couldn't face it with ds so young - so DH is buggering heading off with his sister instead and I'm going to be stuck on my own with both the kids - oh joy....I'm sure once you're there it'll be good, though .

Sexonlegs · 20/02/2008 08:14

Morning.

Liath, fab news re your nght - long may that continue. Interesting you pulled out of the ski-ing trip.

Thanks others too for your views/support etc.

I feel like such a moany cow atm. I really have nothing to moan about (dh is fab, dd's are healthy, we have a lovely house, etc etc, yet I feel so down. I actually went to bed last night and hoped that I wouldn't wake up. How awful is that? I feel like I am drowning in life - does that make sense? Don't know what to do about it. Dh just says that's how it is - he doesn't get it. Mind you neither do I.

Hope everyone has a lovely day.

liath · 20/02/2008 08:28

Sorry you're feeling so low, SOL . Is it worth speaking to your GP at all do you think or just a case of wanting to stop life and get off for a bit?

Maveta · 20/02/2008 08:30

Morning everyone, I've not really caught up but I think a very long overdue YAY! is due to you, WO for the great news re. the job. What a relief.

Congrats Dippy on the job and good luck with your application Runny.

Mammyjo - what fab parents! you are a lucky girl. I've never been to Menorca but dh's brother used to live there and loved it. It's supposed to be very nice indeed.

SOL - You sound a bit down, I wish I knew what to suggest. Have you spoken to anyone else about it apart from dh?

N has started signing 'milk'! It is so so cute and I think we'll get on and make a bit more effort to introduce a couple of other signs now. Very sweet.

StealthPolarBear · 20/02/2008 09:16

SOL that is awful. |I had no idea you were that down, have you spoken to your GP?
Maveta - wow to N signing milk! We have been very lazy about actually doing that, keep forgetting or signing it at inappropriate times (when we remember!)
POTC- voluntary hugs?? It must be love!
Dippy, how are all the DDs doing this morning? Is DD2 any better, I know you said P was getting better yesterday.
Hi liath, fantastic news about sleeping through!

StealthPolarBear · 20/02/2008 09:17

It appears T likes marmite

he only had a tiny scraping on a tiny bit of toast, but it's that bit he's concentrating on!
DH will not be happy

CaptainDippy · 20/02/2008 09:49

Yes, we are having a Party on Sat for DD1, Luce - she's chosen the guest list, the cake, the songs, the games ..... should be a riot!!

Oh SOL - think going to see your GP would probably be a good thing - get it all out in the open before it gets any worse. You poor thing. Does DH know how you feel?

Hopping in the shower now - DH has three days off - yippee! Shame he is such a moody wotsit .... .....

DD's 2 & 3 much better today - DD2 still tired, but denying it (sigh), P's spots much improved - think we might be on the mend .... !!? I live in hope.

StealthPolarBear · 20/02/2008 09:54

excellent- is it half term where you are? Can you plan something fun for Friday?

Sexonlegs · 20/02/2008 10:14

Morning again.

Thanks for your kind words. I need to do something. I don't like who I am atm. Feel like I have got PMT ALL the time. Going to see the GP next week anyway about going back on the pill - am wondering if this might help with moods as well as dreadful af's that I have been having since K.

Dippy, so glad P is on the mend and hope dd2 feels 100% soon.

Luce, poor dh with man flu. Actually with asthma it is probably not great. Hope you can get some rest somehow .

B off to a school friends for lunch today which will be good.

How long before the eye drops should start working do you think? K's eyes not shut, but absolutely caked in muck again this morning.

OK. Back later. x

StealthPolarBear · 20/02/2008 10:16

{{sol}}
Hope K's eye better very soon, sorry I can't help

oooggs · 20/02/2008 10:37

sol - stopping the world and wanting to get off - yes I can relate to that - at least we are here to moan at

Katy - marmite - yep I have two marmite monsters here too (ds1 hates it)

Erin was up 2.30 - 5.30 and so were dh and I so knackered - think she had tummy ache - sprouts she was eating whole at lunchtime

all these dc's birthdays!!!!!!! so nothing on telly 9 mths ago

dippy & luce the parties sound fun

liath - well done on the sleeping through and your dc's

maveta - signing milk is lovely - we use sign with ds1 when he forgets his manners - great in other peoples houses cos they think he is really really polite as they don't see us signing

ellie - glad you had a great afternoon - we started as friends and now look what a mess I am in

CaptainDippy · 20/02/2008 13:52

Popping in - hello!

Whole sprouts, oooggs, goodness!

Sexonlegs · 20/02/2008 14:10

Hi lovelies. Where is everyone??

Oooggs, what a crap night. How is E today?

Hi Dippy!

B at friends and I am enjoying peace. K only just dropped off after 20 minutes of whinging in her cot. She is normally fab at nap time, but today... not. Hope this is just a blip.

It is so cold here today - has a look of snow in the sky.

How is everyone?

NorthernLurker · 20/02/2008 14:19

hi sol I'm here for a bit. I'm fine but I'm a bit worried about you - really good idea to go and see the GP - I suspect you could do with a bit of time off work?

NorthernLurker · 20/02/2008 14:26

mammyjo - hope F is better today

runny - lovely next-door-baby-name!

GMM - what was the final score [nudge]

POTC - you willingly hugged - am to my core

Dippy- hope the greater and lesser spotted baby Dippys continue to improve!

Oooggs - what a grim night - will hope for better things for you.

Hello to everyone else

Has anybody heard from Leaky recently?

Sexonlegs · 20/02/2008 14:30

Thanks NL. How are you? I didn't mean to alarm anyone. I am defintely going to see the GP, as I cannot carry on like this. I think dh has realised also that it isn't just a case of "that's just the way it is". He called me earlier and sounded really worried. Poor love, I have been so off with him, which he doesn't deserve in the slightest.

K awake already - she has only slept for 30 minutes- normally has at least an hour. Guess who is going to be grumpy by tea time??

Back later on.

Sexonlegs · 20/02/2008 14:32

NL, did you have any feedback from the viewing the other day btw??

NorthernLurker · 20/02/2008 14:35

I'm good thanks - bit knackered and with one or two little niggles (like wanting to sell the house) but basically ok. Hope you didn't mind me saying I was worried - just that I thought I had detected a lack of bounciness in your posts and poor K's eyes have obviously worried you a lot. Any improvement there? I know how it stresses me when any of the girls are ill and with you working and having B as well I think you've got a lot on.

mammyjo · 20/02/2008 14:37

Hi all. Quickly popping in before going on the school run, and its bloody raining! It has been dry for a while now so I suppose it was inevitable that the rain would be back soon!

F seems brighter today, just as well really as I am working tomorrow and she has to go to nursery. Is busy trying to bite the leg of my jeans atm!

SOL, I have been back on the pill for just over 3 weeks and my moods are much better. I had the low time just after christmas too, but that has also lifted. Glad you are going to see the gp, any chance you could go any sooner? Its awful to feel so down, but I can totally relate to what you are saying. {{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}} to you, hope you are feeling much brighter very soon xxx

Pillock at you hugging voluntarily He must be a bit special!!!

NorthernLurker · 20/02/2008 14:37

x post - agent rang and said the guy struggled to remember our house and said he had seen things they like better - after seeing ours I presume as they were very nice going round. Oh well - not to be this time - so fortunate that there is nothing on the market I'm desperate to buy atm - it would be a lot worse if there was!

NorthernLurker · 20/02/2008 14:38

Hi mammyjo - glad to hear F a bit better - B bites my clothes too! I too have school run in a few mins - very dry here but horribly, horribly cold here - temp not gone above freezing all day I think.

mammyjo · 20/02/2008 14:47

Very big x post then as I read but didnt refresh before posting!

SOL, glad that your dh is taking things seriously. I know its hard when you think about the fact you are snappy a lot of the time, but if you are like me, then it was something that I almost could not control. I just felt angry continuously.
