mammyjo · 19/02/2008 12:24

Sorry, x posted a lot!

StealthPolarBear · 19/02/2008 12:24

runny the reason i was asking who the form is for is that if it's an app form and if it's the nhs, do put the pnd bit in if you're haapy to!

runnyhabbit · 19/02/2008 12:28

They've told me that the only people that will see it apart from themselves, may be my former employer

But I've spoken to him, and am going to send him a copy of what I have written.

mammyjo · 19/02/2008 12:30

You were open with him though werent you, so he shouldnt really read anything that would surprise him!

elkiedee · 19/02/2008 12:42

Runny, obviously this isn't a job application where it would raise far too many questions. What you've written is complicated and detailed and there are lots of ways of saying it, but as the purpose is to explain why you haven't just decided you didn't fancy working and decided to claim benefits - that you're not intentionally unemployed - what you've written is just fine for its purpose, it's obviously really different from explaining to your next prospective employers why you left that job. You have justified what happened and you haven't said anything which has a negative impact for benefits purposes, I wouldn't spend too much more time on it.

Good luck with the benefits and with the hunt for a better new job, and take care of yourself.

StealthPolarBear · 19/02/2008 12:43

hi elkie, how are you and d?

elkiedee · 19/02/2008 13:03

I'm feeling a bit mopey but am about to get us ready to go out on an expedition to a baby/toddler group in Muswell Hill. I think today will be the most difficult day this week as it's dp's late shift and my dad who often helps out on that day is busy this week.

D slept through the night last night and we were woken up by our various alarm clocks before he woke up too so that was a good start, anyway.

All I need now is to stop feeling sorry for myself. I'm hoping it's the patch a lot of us seem to have gone through between 9 and 10 months and that things will look brighter to me soon.

StealthPolarBear · 19/02/2008 13:07

i hope so.
Hope your day is not too bad

StealthPolarBear · 19/02/2008 13:18

T is snoring like a motorbike!

Sexonlegs · 19/02/2008 14:05

Hi all.

Popping in again whilst at work - naughty!

Have had a quick skim through.

Dippy, glad the girls are brighter today. Hope they are completely better soon.

Elkie, hope you are having a good day. I am sure you will be fine tonight.

SPB, my cats used to be the same. Would give them a clean litter tray and they would crap in it!!

MJ, I used to be able to give K a packet of wipes/spare nappy etc. She still takes them, but sits herself up making it an absolute nightmare to change her nappy! She is petite but incredibly strong!!

Can't remember anything else

K's eyes still mucky, but early days with the drops.

Back later. x

liath · 19/02/2008 15:46

Hi,

Just had a lovely afternoon with Luce and GMM. Had to do a detour home to force dd to nap - she was so excited after fighting playing nicely with Luce's ds that she was yapping away nineteen to the dozen despite being knackered.

SOl, if the brolene doesn't work you could try getting some chloramphenicol from the chemist although you'll have to lie and say it's for you!

Good news on the job, CD - hope the girls are feeling better.

oooggs · 19/02/2008 16:04

hello all just bookmarking!!

StealthPolarBear · 19/02/2008 17:04

cazboldy · 19/02/2008 17:36

Hi all

cazboldy · 19/02/2008 17:37

I know that is a bit bare, but haven't really got anything else to say - haven't caught up, and nothing to report yet from this end.....

CD hope your girls are better today x

NorthernLurker · 19/02/2008 17:38

hi all

busy day today - been to baby group - which was great fun. There were four new 'bumps' there today - really nice to chat to them (whilst refelecting how they really have no idea what's about to hit them ) Then home and quick lunch and then out to school and back in time to meet my aunt, her dil and our second cousins - boy and girl who are younger than my big two but older than B. They all played beautifully and it was really nice bu have had no time to catch up. Back later.......

Sexonlegs · 19/02/2008 17:40

Afternoon all. V quiet on here - at least I can keep up that way!!

Liath, I bought those drops you mentioned on Friday - I did exactly what you said funnily enough and said they were for me!!!
K's eyes seem a bit better with the Brolene. She is in a crap mood tho as only had 15 mins nap at nursery this morning. When I went to collect her she had been asleep for 15 mins, but I had to wake her up to get home and relieve mum and dad of B!

Roll on 6.30 when dh is back.

Glad you had such a good day with GMM and Luce.

mammyjo · 19/02/2008 19:17

SOL, hope K is brighter soon. F has been clingy again today and is still getting high temps. Hoping for a better night tonight but not holding my breath!!

Off now as making dinner, then a mountain of ironing to do. My life is just one long joyous task after another
See you all tomorrow xxx

geordiemacminx · 19/02/2008 19:33
