LOL Ange

Awww, thanks for more nice cake comments all!

Well P has been shouting and shouting and I've been buzzing round doing a couple of things before I get her up for lunch and she seems to have fallen back to sleep again

CaptainDippy · 27/02/2008 12:13

Right, she's started again, so will go .....

Think you should revisit your GP, MJ. xx

Idreamofchocolate · 27/02/2008 13:36

Just popping in quickly as 'working' at home today as S still pooey. Not so bad as yesterday but still doing the occasional massive explosion. She's very chirpy with it and drinking plenty so not worried - took her to the Drs and she is absolutely fine (apart from the obvious).

MJ & SOL - glad to hear F and K and doing better today too.

Oooggs - hurray for good night. Send the vibes to SPB now

Well DH due home today, but he phoned at 11.30 saying he couldn't leave for a while as he thinks he's still over the limit and he's really tired . I just said to him that he's gonna be even more tired after tonight as it'll be his turn to be up changing stinky nappies through the night [evil]. Am a bit annoyed as I was hoping to pop into work this afternoon but I can't go anywhere til he gets home.

Luckily he's off tomorrow so I can whizz in early - have an exciting day planned throwing people's crap back over the fence where they've dumped it on my company's land. Am taking the heavies with me for back-up! Love that sort of stuff!

StealthPolarBear · 27/02/2008 14:12

hi idoc, sounds like S is getting better as well

DloeufyDoo · 27/02/2008 14:33

Wish us luck for M's appt on Tues.x

Sexonlegs · 27/02/2008 15:01

Hi IDOC and Dooby.

K still pooey too. Only going once a day, but revolting and loads of it resulting in a huge clean up operation. I am getting pissed off with it!!

What sort of food are you giving S?

StealthPolarBear · 27/02/2008 15:08

someone please give me a kick, I am stuck in a can't be bothered rut

weeonion and SOL, thank you, thank you - my flexi working application has been accepted

Idreamofchocolate · 27/02/2008 15:36

SOL - she'll eat pretty much anything that's presented to her! She enjoys basic stuff like casseroles, meat + veg + spuds, pasta of any description (eg. mac cheese, spag bol), loves salmon + potato + cheese + veg, scrambled eggs and toast, roasted butternut squash with lentils, jacket potato with tuna/sweetcorn/cheese etc etc.! For lunch we had wholegrain rice with roasted veg and salmon.

TBH she'll eat whatever I'm having, she's got a good appetite.

Bramshott · 27/02/2008 15:58

Hi there.

Congrats to Hensden!

Err, mind gone blank!

Idreamofchocolate · 27/02/2008 16:04

Hi Bramshott. You still working every Tuesday?

StealthPolarBear · 27/02/2008 16:06

Hi everyone
IDOC wow at your dd's appetite. T is so on and off with food

Idreamofchocolate · 27/02/2008 16:14

SPB, it makes a nice change as Em is so fussy and (always has been).

Right, I am working, I am working.....

NorthernLurker · 27/02/2008 16:20

IDOC - don't go - what do you do with lentils and squash - recipe please
I have both and B likes them - but the only thing I do with lentils is make soup.

StealthPolarBear · 27/02/2008 16:25

sounds like the basis for an indian dish NL!
We desperately need a new thread, I don;t have paging and it takes ages to load!

Sexonlegs · 27/02/2008 16:30

IDOC, are you giving S anything in particular food wise to stop her squitty bum??

NorthernLurker · 27/02/2008 16:30

Right - to catch up properly:

Mammyjo and SOL - I didn't mean to alarm you but tbh I was concerned when I saw that thread. Mine is called Norgeston - used to be called Neogest. I've been taking it for 10 years barring baby times and it's always been ok.

SPB - great news with the flexible working application - well done Bravo - also on the snot - I have a secret liking for that sort of excavavation as well - so satisfying!

Ooooggs - yeah for sleep

Caz - doesn't everybody take baths at 1am? I am naturally a night person, was messing around on here and cleaning up the kitchen etc, etc, then I was reading in the bath because I can't in bed as it would disturb B. So I got to be wide awake and listen and watch as my house shook around me. It was scary I can tell you!

POTC - well if you like having him around and miss him when he's gone - that sounds like something to build on to me!

Hi everyone else

NorthernLurker · 27/02/2008 16:31

SPB - POTC is too busy missing sofa bloke to do our catch up you see

She's going to throw something heavy at me now........

StealthPolarBear · 27/02/2008 16:32

someone decide for me
I wanted to get the next car seat from boots for all the lovely points but they've sold out of all but the girlie ones.
Do I get it from the Glasgow Pram Centre (where they're really cheap, but I probably pay delivery)? Can anyone think of anywhere else where I'll get loads of points? (Tried tesco direct but they don't do the one I want).

NorthernLurker · 27/02/2008 16:33

which seat is it?

StealthPolarBear · 27/02/2008 16:33

NL, hopefully not a sofa
Yes, it's a bit worrying how much job satisfaction I get from yanking snot from his nose (erm.. sorry hope no-one is eating). I always imagine how much easier he's breathing afterwards

StealthPolarBear · 27/02/2008 16:34

maxi cosi priorifix in ideally penguin or the black one. If it was a good enough deal I'd consider the electric blue one (or whatever they call it) - I'm sure by the time T can express his disgust we'll be on to the next size

NorthernLurker · 27/02/2008 16:35

yes they look so clean and lovely when you've peeled it all off don't they

(NL looks confused)
why are you all running away screaming???

StealthPolarBear · 27/02/2008 16:36

was that about snot? Or car seats?

NorthernLurker · 27/02/2008 16:46

It was snot

Just looking at the boots website and i think they've got the one you like in 'frisbee blue' - as it's free delivery over £40 and double points I would go for that one if you can swallow the colour - which I think is quite nice actually. I've had a quick scan online and it looks like a lot of places are out of stock - not just Boots so I'd be inclined to go for it. That's (does quick sum) £18.32 in points I think!!!

NorthernLurker · 27/02/2008 16:48

and if you order today or tomorrow it looks like they'll give you another 500 points for spending over £50!!!!

(NL faints with excitement but still manages to pocket large backhander from Boots management)
