geordiemacminx · 26/02/2008 14:20

Possibly - although I have to admit I prefer Junglee Fun.... the sell proper coffee and cakes... does that make me a snob?

geordiemacminx · 26/02/2008 14:22

StealthPolarBear · 26/02/2008 14:29

geordiemacminx · 26/02/2008 14:32

The one at Newton Aycliffe?

mammyjo · 26/02/2008 14:33

SOL, really glad that you are feeling a bit brighter this week. I blame nursery for all the bugs F has got over the last few weeks as she goes there on a Thursday, perfectly well, and comes out in something a couple of days later. I remember ds being exactly the same for a while.

F now has semi diarrhoea too. Not completely watery, but not far off iykwim. We have had two changes of clothes this morning for leaky nappies. Totally understand why you would use a carrier bag! I did that when ds was potty training, just in case!

geordiemacminx · 26/02/2008 14:36

Same here with loose poo's - had to bin a vest nd a sleepsuit already this week - they wer wrecked beyond all recognition

Bramshott · 26/02/2008 14:47

Now I have someone on my Facebook who I'm sure is one of you, but I don't know who!!! Initials EB, baby is B, lives in Scotland, writes very witty status updates which make me laugh. Anyone enlighten me?!?

Sexonlegs · 26/02/2008 14:57

geordiemacminx · 26/02/2008 14:57

Its lazyemma - she hasnt been on in ages though

Octothechildherder · 26/02/2008 15:06

Hello all Have been sooo busy recently - but have just had a quick read

I am doing the uncontrollable screaming sleep method - where I just leave him to cry forever. Things had got so bad - he wasn;t sleeping in the day, cried all the time and was waking 4 times for a feed and then wanted to get up at 5.30 .

So saturday night he cried for an hour. Sunday night he cried for 40 minutes and last night ten minutes. He then wakes at 7am - is happy and content and is going back for daytime sleeps - hoorah!!

Think it just needed for me to get to the end of my tether and realise sleep deprivation was getting too much to deal with. DH is working away a couple of nights a week and I am hoping by the time he gets back this week ernie will be sorted!

I have started doing supply teaching which is going well and have found a nanny who is keen to have ernie as and when I need her to help - which is great. I feel like I am slowly getting a life back and some money! Working the rest of this week and working th abby show at Excel over the weekend. May get emough money to treat myself to something soon!

Hope everyone is well - things were getting on top of me for the last couple of weeks without sleep but am feeling much better now.

Bramshott · 26/02/2008 15:15

Thanks - I knew someone would know!

Sounds like things are going well Octo! Great to see you.

StealthPolarBear · 26/02/2008 16:05

Hi everyone, I'm back and feeling brighter - we saw a rainbow on the way to tesco
Octo - good to see you, lol at uncontrollable screaming, glad sleep is getting better
GMM, no, it's at Deerness sports Centre, in Ushaw Moor, so about 5 mins away! Would be ideal if I can get up and dressed in time next week, and I think T would love it.

geordiemacminx · 26/02/2008 16:11

The one we went to at Team Valley was great too

ellesbelles · 26/02/2008 16:37

elkiedee · 26/02/2008 17:00

Yes, Bramshott's description sounds like lazyemma - she makes me laugh too.

Glad things are getting better for you octo.

There was a baby massage session at Baby and Me, Danny was happy enough but didn't want to sit still and poured our coconut oil on the floor .

ellesbelles · 26/02/2008 17:02

Saw the pic of your boys GMM - so sweet!

Loving the cake CD

StealthPolarBear · 26/02/2008 17:08

I thought you'd added new ones Dippy/.
Fantastic cake! I didn't realise your DD1 was only 4 - you must have small gaps!
Lovely one of P - she looks very grown up

elkiedee · 26/02/2008 17:15

Lovely pics and cake (well, it looks it) CD.

And GMM, proper coffee and cake sounds like the way to go to me, not a snob but a mummy who needs to treat herself sometimes.
