morning

liath · 27/02/2008 07:18

Morning SPB, how was last night?

geordiemacminx · 27/02/2008 07:19

morning ladies.

Poor C is all chesty again...hope he isnt coming down with cold again - its only 2 weeks since he got over the last one.

On the plus side his sleep is much better - 6.30-6.30 at the moment touch wood.

Lovely to see you Hensden, and congratulations!!

Great news on J being dry for 3 days RH

SPB - Hope T managed to get back off to peeps.

Hi Liath. - I hope your dh will be bringing you lots of nice presents home!!

liath · 27/02/2008 07:23

Bugger the presents - as long as there's chocolate I'm happy .

Just seen there was an earthquake last night !!!

StealthPolarBear · 27/02/2008 07:44

Hi everyone
liath, bet you can't wait
GMM, sorry C seems ill again
Night was dreadful again, at what point do I take him to the docs in case there's anything I've missed? Or do I not?

StealthPolarBear · 27/02/2008 07:45

oh and on the one night I really need it, we've lost the medised Gave him calpol, well really managed to throw it all over him but I think some went in, not that it helped.

NorthernLurker · 27/02/2008 07:53

So ladies - did the earth move for you last night

It certainly did here - scared me!

SPB - is he happy in himself during the day? If he is then I don't think there's a lot the doctor will suggest. Have you started a thread in 'Sleep' - maybe try that - I'm sure you're not alone. My night was a bit better - had B in with me post earthquake and she slept reasonably - bit of a fidget but not outright awake till 5.50 when she fed and went back to sleep - I had to wake her at 7.30!

StealthPolarBear · 27/02/2008 08:26

morning NL - no nothing here - I was in Greece with my parents when I was a child and slept through an earhtquake there
But I don't think we felt it here, as DH is the world's worst sleeper and didn't feel it.
NL, yes he does seem happy, he always does during the day. If he had something wrong with him that I couldn't see, he'd be in pain, wouldn't he, you're right.
I thikn all that's wrong is he wakes up because of his blocked nose. He thinks a feed will cure it, feeds badly, drifts off to sleep. Repeat every half hour through the night with him getting tireder and hungry Poor little guy! Anyway, it's just a snotty nose, should be gone soon I'm sure

StealthPolarBear · 27/02/2008 09:36

well I would like to let you all know I have just pulled a huge solid bit of snot out of T's nostril.
You needed to know!

oooggs · 27/02/2008 09:49

morning - 7am woken by ds1 so all 3 slept through

katy - hope things really improve for you soon

AngeG · 27/02/2008 10:05

Morning everyone

Congratulations Hensden, hope you're feeling better soon.

Oooggs - Thanks for the email, really made me cry and as you say appreciate what I have.

SPB - Sorry you've had a bad night.

Didn't notice any earthquake here.

Had a manic day yesterday. Jake had an appointment with the consultant about his ears and Izzy had her before 1 year check.

The consultant wants to see J again in 2 months and in the meantime he's putting his name down on the NHS waiting list for more grommits.

Izzy check was ok. She had no problems performing the tasks! Took all her measurements. She hasn't put on any weight in 6 weeks (although not surprising bearing in mind she has been ill) Her head and length have both come down on the centiles. On a positive note the HV was not concerned (although she wants to review the weight just after her 1st birthday) she felt that she's adjusting to being a littly like me!

I am sure there are major x posts now, because it's taking me so long to type this!

AngeG · 27/02/2008 10:05

Only 1 Hooray to a great night Oooggs

PillockOfTheCommunity · 27/02/2008 10:07

arse. internet down at home so logging in briefly at work.

sofa man gone home, weird without him there, and as much as I hate to admit it, I really liked having someone to come home to and share the childcare with, could see the benefit of having a partner after all

if only I actually felt anything 'that way' towards him it'd be perfect

We need a new thread! Pillock!!!!!

NL, thanks for highlighting the thread re Cerazette. That is what I have been prescribed. I am very wary now. What POP are you on?

Oooggs, great news re the great night. Long may they last.

WCL, poor Leo is having a rough ride isn't he. Hope he and you are feeling better soon.

SPB, how was your night? Do you have a menthol vaporiser in T's room? Do you angle his cot? I just find these help in clearing lo's noses at night time.

MJ/IDOC how are your little poorly ladies today?

Ange, really pleased the checks went well and the HV is not on your back.

Hope everyone else is ok. Didn't feel the earth move here

K seems a lot brighter. Had all her milk and a fair bit of porridge. Sorry for tmi, but hasn't had a poo since yesterday lunch time, so hoping we might be over the worst. She is v tired still, but I guess that is because she isn't eating as much and feels drained of energy. Currently sleeping so have been running around like a headless chicken before having a mocha and some popcorn!!!

Maveta · 27/02/2008 10:20

Morning all...

SPB how was your night? N woke 3 times but I did shush pat and he went back to sleep so that was amazing!

POTC - Not even a flicker of anything towards him??

Bitty comments - yes, I have had those from 3 different people so far "have you seen that sketch from Little Britain" "You know, Bitty, hahaha."

Me: ha. ha.

My BIL was the first to say it and I was really and , was ranting to my sis about it the other night and she was a bit defensive and I just thought. You wait and see. (she's 5 months pregnant with her first).

cazboldy · 27/02/2008 10:30

Yay Ooogs - and long may it continue..........

Hope all those poorly babies are feeling better soon.

Spb - if you feel something is not right then I would take him to the doctors. Is he happy in the day time?

I slept through the earthquake. First I heard about it was on the radio, while doing the school run!

cazboldy · 27/02/2008 10:42

NL you were in the bath at 1 am?

maybe all these people with non-sleping babies can send them to you!

CaptainDippy · 27/02/2008 10:49

Boo!

Congratulations!! To Hensden & good to see you - what is your actual due date??

Thank you for all your nice comments about the cake! (Look on profile if you missed this!!)

Oh, WCL, poor Leo Praying he gets much better soon. xx

Sorry about Izzy's weight, Ange Good that the HV isn't too concered though - like you said, she is on the move now and she has been very poorly - she just needs to get some momentum going and she'll chub right out!! Anyway, you are not exactly huge yourself, so don't fret pet!!

Off to a Party with just DD1 today - VERY excited!! Get to spend some quality time with my oldest girlie It's a pot painting party, so should be fun fun fun!

CaptainDippy · 27/02/2008 10:56

Earthquake!!!!?

Am I supposed to know something about this!!?

AngeG · 27/02/2008 11:00

oooh yes sorry

I did mean to say fantastic cake Dippy

StealthPolarBear · 27/02/2008 11:01

hi everyone
SOL, pleased K seems to be improving!
Maveta, glad you had a good night and you ooooggs, having 3 sleep through must be nothing short of a miracle!
glad I's check went well ange.
trying toi feed t to sleep, dont think he wants to go along with it

StealthPolarBear · 27/02/2008 11:02

5th tooth finally through
dippy - put on news!

StealthPolarBear · 27/02/2008 11:02

dont think it will have been as far s as you tho!

mammyjo · 27/02/2008 11:20

Morning all. No earthquake here either, not that I noticed anyway!!

SOL, I havent looked at the Cerazette thread, but I was prescribed that one. I have been taking it for the last four weeks and personally, I feel much better for it. No problems at all so far
Glad K is a bit better today, F hasnt had any poos yet this morning either so fingers crossed she is going to get rid of the bug now. Still refusing to eat though, and I am struggling to get fluids into her.

Runny, well done J

SPB, sorry you are still having shit nights, you sound just like I did at this stage with ds. He would get me up every half an hour all night. It came to cc for us in the end as I just couldnt take the sleep deprivation any more!

CD, cake is fab! I am impressed!

Hensden, I remember you! Great to hear from you, and congratulations!

Oooggs, bet you looked twice at the clock this morning! Hooray to the three of them sleeping through on the same night

mammyjo · 27/02/2008 11:31

SOL, I have just skimmed through the Cerazette thread and it makes for scary reading actually. I am a bit confused as to why my GP even prescribed it for me now as she knows my history well enough, especially since I had been so low just after Christmas too.
Oh well, I feel fine on it at the moment so will just see what happens. My moods are actually much more stable now than they have been!
