what weird cross postings (spooky)!!

Dragonhart · 07/02/2008 21:06

oh and I think my MS is starting to go now. Slowly.

vinorouge · 07/02/2008 21:10

Rgee _ I did notice how you asked for my address and then didn;t send a card but I will frogive you !!!!! I have had tons of cards so felt very popular and my afternoon tea was ace. Of course you knew what was planned ! I had no idea til we turned up and there were 14 of us in total so very nice to chat and have champagne then nice sandwiches, cakes, strawberrys hortcakes, fruit salad and tea/coffee. I had lots of lovely presents too. That was my actual birthday, also the day we discovered that our monitor works through the wall to next door where my friend lives. Very handy. Sunday we went over to my mums for a yummy roast beef lunch and then out for dinner with friends in the evening. The only thing that was missing was a birthday cake but I forgave DH and bought my own colin caterpiller cake from m&s thsi week which I ahve troffed. DH thought it was too chocoaltely (wierd man thought).

When we moved in the kitchen reeked of weed, none of the light bulbs worked (we needed to spend over £100 cos of type of lights so haven;t got all we need yet trying to find cheaper ones), the boiler was broken and the man had left ALL the mirrors. There are a lot of mirrors and we aren't talking small ones either. I think they were an odd couple. I am not surprised they divorced.

Talking of divorce my little bro and wife have split up after 18 months marriage so I am sad for him as she had someone else.

Oooh Ic an;t stop typing now I've started. Glad dh is out at footie otherwise he would be laughing at me.

vinorouge · 07/02/2008 21:12

UD congrats on the job. Hope the days get more exciting ! I still haven;t got my wonky glasses fixed.

eandh · 07/02/2008 21:13

those mirrors sound weird - what typf lightbulbs are they I can go googling for you was it your brother who saw tt ind ec at the 02? how sad after 18months did they have children?

Birthday sounds great its my 30th next year and want o do something 'special' but will depend on funds

eandh · 07/02/2008 21:13

shite typing hope you can decipher

vinorouge · 07/02/2008 21:20

about as good as my typing tonight eandh!

no its my younger bro with troubles he is 26, it was older bro 32 who went to see tt at 02.

Not sure of the type of bulbs but I can google now I have broadband again although thanks for the offer. The kitchen ones are the 'usual' little ones that are used for downlighting and are flush with the ceiling so nothing sticks out, the other type are similar but are energy savng which is apparently why they are so pricy.

Where was wilkies dhs interview? i am crossing my figners for him.

Reggiee · 07/02/2008 21:27

Vino hopw all goes well tomorrow. Am around all tomorrow if you fancy a chat and catch up.

Wilkie - fingers x'd for dh.

ladytophamhatt · 08/02/2008 06:43

Don't know what going onwith G, waking up at stupid O'clock everyday. We were up at 5:10am this morning, luckily I'd gone to bed at 9:15 because I was shattered due to the factthat he'd been up half the bloody night the previous night.

I have about 15 tonnes of washing to put away, was intending on doing it today then rememebr its our neices b'day tomorrow so need to go and get her a present while ds3 is at nursery...which means the washing pile is going to get even bigger because all the stuff I did yesterday is dry now and the washing machine has just finished.
FFS...I hatehatehatehatehatehatehatehate putting washing away.

Actually forgot about all my PG test palaver until I read all the latest posts on here. I don't feel PG at all and with all the other I've known that I was, even if I couldn't admit it to myself at the time. Will have to wait and see I suppose.
DH has obviously changed his mind again because of his reaction which has annoyed me, plus the fact he hasn't mentioned it once since I told me....I raelly hope i am because I don't think he'll actually agree to it again.
Yes, of course it'll be hard work and our time will be spread even more thinly amongst them but it's not hard work forever and I do 99% of all the hard stuff, while he gets to do all the fun stuff, he doesn't seem to understad that in any big family you can't all do the same things atthe same time(long bikes rides, going on the kyak, fishing etc etc) so they have to take turns. I don't mind getting up in the night, and doing all the rubbish day to day stuff (exept putting the washing away)....oh well, I won't test again now until I'm due on/late so can you all keep your fingers tightly crossed.

ladytophamhatt · 08/02/2008 06:44

once since I told me??
told him obviously.

blame G for the typos, getting me up soooo early.

2happy · 08/02/2008 06:49

2happy · 08/02/2008 06:54

Vino - welcome back, happy birthday, news about your brother. Fingers crossed for the scan today.
Lizzz - I wish you and LTH hadn't said that about MOrrison's doughnuts, had never been tempted by them before, but shop there every week, so of course will not be able to bypass now . Great pics BTW, he's v cute!!
PCF - well done on the weight loss!
DH - glad the MS is starting to recede (but don't tell your dh it is )
LTH - congrats...possibly...probably . at dh tho!
Wilkie - did you say it was today dh finds out? Good luck!

ds2 woke up at 6 this morning, and only woke up once overnight - he's normally up at 5 and 3 or 4 times a night, so a much better night for us. Wonder if he can do it again tonight!

ladytophamhatt · 08/02/2008 06:55

2happy · 08/02/2008 06:56

Bike ones - she said she was putting new ones up, so I assumed they were the new ones...but perhaps they've been there for ages . Still cute, though!

OP posts:
ladytophamhatt · 08/02/2008 06:58

2happy · 08/02/2008 06:59

OP posts:
ladytophamhatt · 08/02/2008 06:59

I can only see a patchwork quilt, DJ in a mr man T-shirt and 2 jellytit cakes....

ladytophamhatt · 08/02/2008 07:01

she's made those one private and not included me i think.

Pah...and I made her tea yesterday. I used a whole teabag on her...god I'll never invite her here again

eandh · 08/02/2008 07:08

well I can see bike ones

Morning - hattie up at 5.39 again although they both slept all night I just dont know why its exactly 5.39 every morning (and dh stayed in bed so i got her and put her in bed with him and she whacked him right across his face ) we're all ready and dressed etc Dh dropping me to work at 8 and then girls to his mums at 9 hen he is golfing with his mates till 3 and then back to his mums as she is cooking them all a roast dinner, means he'll be home about 6.30 so I have an hour when I get in form work to have a soak in the bath

Lizzzombie · 08/02/2008 07:43

Morning!
I don't understand how you can't see my photos LTH. You are one of my 'mumsnetmates' (have made my photos un-public due to excessive trollers on this site imo!)

BUT, I can't seem to get my password to work (I've forgotten it since last night?!) and although I have got MNHQ to email it to me to double check it, hotmail is down. So I can't check the spelling of ladytophamhat on it. Weird.

Right. Am off for a donut. The sooner that pack is finished the better!

ps - nicked your idea of fake remote controls to fool the baby....but, he knows its not the real one.

ladytophamhatt · 08/02/2008 07:51

it has to be a real one, preferably one the same as your normal one (ie,like our 2 sky ones) with the batteries removed Lizzzz.

They know when they are fake....

theUrbanDryad · 08/02/2008 08:12

Lizzz - how expensive was your bike/bike seat? i'm saving up for one at the moment - so if anyone wants to give me any birthday money....

Wilkie · 08/02/2008 08:44

Morning all - am desperate for a poo so will have to be quick.

LTH - soooooo excited, was reading all day yesterday with fevered anticipation but didn't manage to get round to posting as was at work!! I am and for you!

Vino - good to have you back. So sorry to hear about your bro that is really sad. DH's interview was in Huddersfield and he finds out if he has got through to 2nd interview today. There are a few things that we are 'not sure' about though so he may even turn it down if he gets offered it. We'll see. He has nother application pending for Stockport (which I would prefer TBH)

Lizz - love the photos, D is such a cute (can't say much for his mum though )

EAH - we were looking at the teeny photos of J yesterday night! So small. GOD I am broody.

J has got a black eye - he fell and smacked it on the fireplace.

Must go...poo is a calling.....

Dragonhart · 08/02/2008 10:23

Which Golf course in Stockport Wilkie? We used to live there (was born there then moved back after uni) and my dsis and nan live there now. My BIL and his dad both golf there so might be able to find out something for you?
